Paranoid
Black SabbathWow I have been missing out, this is quite solid stuff. 4/5, I enjoy the instrumental songs as well
Wow I have been missing out, this is quite solid stuff. 4/5, I enjoy the instrumental songs as well
Interesting album, better than fat boy slim, like the first song and "stop this crazy thing" but the rest was meh. also not even on spotify - 2/5.
Meh, not too into it, even walk this way was meh. Raising hell bit better, slightly groovy good beat n solo 3/5
Wow I have been missing out, this is quite solid stuff. 4/5, I enjoy the instrumental songs as well
First song was terrible, the rest of the album was catchy, groovy, and sonically interesting. 4/5
The first song started out okay but the rest of the album got more and more grating to listen to, last few songs got a bit better, 1.5/5.
Feels like decent british rock but nothing too special 3/5
Nice music that I feel like would be fun to dance to if I knew how to, catchy good rhythms. 3.5/5 Also good jazz vibes.
Interesting early rock group, reminds me of the Beatles. I like some tracks like "8:05" and "Rounders" with a good instrumental mix, particularly the bass and guitar.
Iconic album, excellent songs with great buildups, choruses, dynamics, and varied instrumentals. Standouts: Breathe, Time, Money, Us and Them, Eclipse, 5/5.
Wonderful soul album, really enjoy "Just out of reach", feels like a nice movie song. I also like "Can't nobody love you" (seems like I am a fan of the backing chorus in contrast with his voice). "Can't love em" all reminds me of the Beatles' "All my loving". Album does a great job of evoking emotions, has fun rhyming lyrics, and the singer has a rich and expressive voice. 4/5
Ok rock album, 3/5, not that interesting.
Album is so long and though some songs are good, others feel like generic 80s songs (Journey, A-Ha) and there's just too much, also not a fan of the whispery singing and repetitive instrumentals, 2/5.
I've never actually listened to anything aside from the hits from Coldplay and was pleasantly surprised. Some of the songs get a little repetitive with their chorus and blend together, but a 4/5 for me. New songs I like: Politik, A Whisper
Fun basslines, but wasn't too interesting otherwise for me.
Worse than fat boy slim, repetitive drum beat 1/5
3/5, solid reggae album, but I prefer his stuff about equal rights more than legalizing weed
Some cool instrumentals, but a bit slow in general and monotone, 3/5
Interesting album, very unique sound, not the biggest fan of some of the songs, my favorite was "Spinning Wheel", liked the jazz inspiration throughout, but no other songs really stuck with me. 3/5
The first 6 songs on the album are a 5/5, unfortunately the middle to end (except road trippin) blend together and are just a bit too grating. 4/5
Some interesting instrumentals, but not too interesting either.
Interesting album would have been good except for that one song with the recorder that was very bad
Interesting sounds, reminded me of something I had on cd as a kid, but more background music since I can't understand
Not feeling it, feels like background music even though there are good instrumentals. 2/5, liked some of his other album more
Alright interesting rock, similar tones to the Beatles, 3/5
Interesting album, better than fat boy slim, like the first song and "stop this crazy thing" but the rest was meh. also not even on spotify - 2/5.
Very cool short album, nice saxophone, and jazzy, 3.5/5
Some iconic songs, smooth, but nothing that I truly loved, 3/5
Some interesting songs, very unique instrumentals, 3/5
Great grooves, brass, backing vocals, bass, and drums and of course vocals on the tracks make them all enjoyable to listen to, everything is very cohesive. Didn't realize that Rihanna sampled "Wanna be starting something". "Baby be mine" is also nice - really like the runs in that one. Especially enjoyed: "Human Nature, Thriller, Billie Jean," makes sense why it's a classic 5/5.
Not the biggest fan, felt a bit muted all around vs solo Dolly, favorite song is Wildflowers, 3/5.
Nothing in this really stood out to me, very slow and dragging, but some songs had good guitar solos at least. 3/5
1/5 not melodic enough to overcome the screaming
Catchy album with some cool grooves, 3.5/5, really enjoyed the last song.
Didn't like Willie the pimp, liked all the others somewhat, guitar has excellent tone and feels alive, interesting instrumentals, 3/5.
I actually quite liked this! Pleasantly surprised, very melodic and easy to listen to compared to how screamy some other metal bands were. Liked run for the hills and the last song, 4/5
Really liked this, 4/5.
Cool album, elements of pink floyd and beatles, a few cool guitar solos, 3/5 - nothing too memorable unfortunately.
Anxiety-inducing cacophanous sound. I thought this was going to be more along the lines of Coldplay, it was very unique, but not something I will listen to again most likely. 3/5.
First three tracks were interesting and energetic, fourth track was cool with the flamenco guitar. Would definitely like to listen to this album again, 4/5.
Haunting, dark, reminds me of "Hurt" by Johnny Cash - very dark and touching on existential concepts with a very raspy, deep voice. Super interesting and unique, but I probably will not listen to again unless I am feeling darkness 3/5.
I liked these songs, they were quite good! 4/5 though because it was very long and not as much an album as an assortment of songs.
cool stuff, very unique, 4/5 i think.
I liked zombie a bit better than this one, felt a bit flat.
Sounds like Beatles again
Really enjoyed this, 5/5. The live show adds to the atmosphere, and the playing is very clean and bluesy.
Didn't expect this sound from the bee gees, liked Lion in Winter and the Waterloo song, but the rest was meh, 3/5
Crazy album title, thought this was gonna be another Beatles clone but pleasantly surprised, 3/5
Good but lots of songs sound similar, 3/5
Good but lots of songs sound similar, 3/5
Some cool songs, but the next album has all the bangers, 3/5. Honorable mention for deez nuts
Very nice, folky rock, really liked mandolin wind, 3.5/5
Some interesting songs and beats, but others really don't help. Like "Someone Great" and the New York Song, 3/5
Not what I expected from Prince, not much guitar, some interesting songs but 3/5.
Odd lyrics, felt flat and repetitive, 2/5
Liked the title track, groovy instrumentals, 3.5/5
Really nice guitar and drums, but questionable song titles, 3/5
Faded into the background for me, 2/5
Easy listening country album with some nice songs, really liked the Bakersfield song, 3/5
This was oddly mid 3/5
Album went a bit long, but on the whole was very interesting and groovy to listen to. Can understand why it is so influential, 4/5.
Solid album, faded a bit towards the end for me, 3/5 intriguing
Felt like music from a simpler time, most of the songs sounded the same and had similar muted harmonized vocals. 3/5
Cool, unique and complex, but couldn't quite get into it on just the first listen. Will need to hear a few more times, 3/5
Feels pretty forgettable, 2/5
Reminds of old west America, I like the harmonica, nice, slow and nostalgic, 3.5/5
