It was a good album, I knew Beautiful but can’t say I knew any other songs. Some were very catchy but not incredible. It was a pretty easy listen all the way through, but wanted alittle more passion in some of the songs. Although I did love a couple of the songs, just not as much as to save them to my liked songs. Good early 2000s album, listened on a run and appreciated the energy but could have used a bit more to push myself 🤣
Love every song on this album, a complete no skip album and could save every song. Elton John is just incredible. I knew this album coming into it, but that was 45 mins of pure bliss. My first 5 star album and think it’s totally valid as one. Each song kept me so interested and I loved listening to each one. Felt the same feel through the whole albums which was consistent but equally new for each song.
So far, this album is upbeat and fun beats BUT so repetitive that it gets annoying and seems to lack creativity. There are interesting and fun aspects to the beat and rhythm of the music, but I’m just looking for more lyric creativity and not to feel annoyed by what I’m listening to. At times it just feels like a record broke and they left that in the album. Finished the album and feel the same way at the end lol, not the worst thing I’ve ever heard, but definitely not good either.
Really enjoyed this album! Knew one song but really appreciated the artistry through the whole album. Will listen to this artist again, the lyrics and beats were so engaging and keep my attention throughout it. I didn’t think about skipping a song once.
Lovely album, knew one song but really enjoyed the rest, all had a similar feel but different vibe by the song. Not a perfect album as I had moments where I slipped away, but otherwise really enjoyed most songs on the album.
Not my type of music, but not a terrible album. Some unique beats and rhythms that I respect. Interesting, but not inspirational or moving.

Lovely album, Janis is an icon. Such a unique voice and rock style. Appreciate the artistry and message in her music
Very unique album, enjoyed the mix of beats and fun feel to each song. I will say it kind of stressed me out alittle bit, but only because I was trying to do other things and listen to the album.
Good album, a nice slow burn. Appreciated the artistry and flow to the album.
Great album, didn’t love every song but appreciated the lyricism and melody to most songs.
Loved this album and every song on it, this is one of those albums I can just fly through with ease and will listen to again. They had a REO speed wagon meets tom petty feel. Great flow of songs and a fun beat throught the whole track list.
Screamo/goth French? Interesting… not my cup of tea. Really liked the song Charolette, but it was a strange one off like they were trying to appease their management or something? Check a box I guess. It was okay. Not the worst, but not really good either.
Long album, but really lovely. Debating giving a 5 but didn’t feel this was entirely a no skip album. Breaks were needed to make it though.
Love love love this album. No notes, it’s lovely. Listened to it 3 times through.
Great album, some hit songs that have such a strong force to them. Not every song is quite what I love to listen to, but the artistry makes up for it.
Beautiful album. 4 perfect songs, 40 great minutes. Can’t go wrong. Loved every second.
Such a chill jazz album, light listen with a smooth flow throughout. All songs kind of flowed together, hard to tell harsh difference between each song, which was fun and dull at the same time.
Long album, not a lot to hold your attention, but beautiful beat and wonderful listening experience… if you want to lay down/meditate/relax. Reminds me of an islandic enya.
Sounds like if COIN and Lorde had a religious optimistic love child.
Not a bad album, but why did it need to be so long?? Also why did every song sound so similar… not objectively bad, but also not objectively good either.
Vanilla. Sounds like the soundtrack to a depressed dads divorce.
Nothing noteworthy here.
Solid album. Enjoyed it all the way through. Made me alittle agitated at work, but a great gym or run album. Great artistry and a perfect flow through the album.
Good album, enjoyed it but did not love it. A few good songs but not anything I felt a strong connection to or emotional reaction to.
Really enjoyed this album. Can’t go wrong with “we’re going to be friends”, but other songs were also lovely to listen to and such an enjoyable time all the way through. Didn’t need a break I flew right through this and listened twice just for fun.
I really loved this album. Had a strong impact on me emotionally and really got my thoughts going. I listened to it 3 times through just because I loved it so much. Not much to it, but the guitar and her voice is really all I needed to get engulfed in the flow of the album and beautiful lyrics.
40 mins, 4 songs, longest experience to get through. Didn’t grab my attention, still a good flow just boring.
Amazing album, loved every second. Such a great example of artistry in their genre.
Great album, really enjoyed listening. Didn’t love every song, but overall a great flow to the album.
Such an English/British album, but loved it. Reminded me of my time in London, especially Camden town. Such a fun feel, but left some to be desired.
Really enjoyed this album, but this feels like a situational enjoyment album if that makes sense. Great to listen to while working, cleaning or relaxing. Loved the flow.
For a 2hr album, I surprising made it through easier than I thought, helps that I clean the entire house while listening, but I did it in one go. Really appreciated the strings addition. Also really enjoyed quite a few of the songs, just 2hrs for one album is extreme. I also normally hate live records but this wasn’t the worst.
Loved the iconic psycho killer but the rest of the album left more to be desired.
Love Cyndi Lauper. So fun, such a light listen and an easy album to listen to on repeat.
Made me want to fall asleep sitting up at my computer trying to work, every hard to get through such a short album. It was like elevated hold music, faded into the background easily. Would be great music for a video game, not for my personal enjoyment.
So many songs on here I didn’t realize that I knew, absolutely loved this album.
Loved the start and then it kind of lost me, but the second listen made me like it much more.
Second listen brought this up to a 4, didn’t love it the first listen through, but was able to pick out so many more impressive aspects of the album after the second listen through.
Knew way more songs from here than I expected! Fun album to listen to, but started to lose me as it went on.
Good album, enjoyed listening, but kind of felt like elevated background music. Didn’t stand out to me, but also not my go to genre.
Loved the first album of theirs that I got from the generator, but was not moved by this album the same way. I was very unimpressed and not moved by any song in particular.
Sitting very in the middle on this one. Didn’t like it, also didn’t hate it. Hard to pay attention to the music tbh, I wound up paying attention to anything but the music. Objectively it’s good, personally I could listen to silence equally as interesting.
This was like listening to a man who smoked 10 packs a day try to speak along to melodies. The music wasn’t terrible, but as a whole I just didn’t enjoy it. I felt like this album couldn’t end soon enough. Had quite a hard time taking this album seriously.
Good fun dance album, not my go to music at any time, but good.
Really have a hard time taking this seriously.
Every time I think oh wait here we go, I’m quickly reminded of why I wasn’t loving it. The themes are simple and quite frankly remind me of an adult temper tantrum. :/
Really enjoyed this flow. to make a 2 song album impactful is impressive and I enjoyed this each time I listened. Made me very relaxed!
Enjoyed this, but not too much. Was really difficult for me to get through the album to rate it. I think I liked it more than “this years model”, but not enough to give it a point up.
Honestly unsure of this one…
Some super solid hits, a good album but not every song left a lasting impact. The artistry was still impressive.
Maybe it’s just my mood for the day, but I really enjoyed this album. It was a quick and fun listen. I appreciated the chill rock vibe with angsty undertones when fitting. I think it easily could have gone without the screamo vocals and been equally impactful, but I appreciate the artistry.
Saw a review that mentioned the importance of listening to this album at the right time of day and I couldn’t agree more. Walking the streets at 3am on a Saturday, this album would be a potentially 5/5 just for the vibe and main character feel it would provide in that sort of moment. Now on a Tuesday while working, I can’t say it had the same impact. I did still truly enjoy it but it didn’t have the impact it would have in the correct circumstances. It did make me very relaxed and allow me to flow through work with ease. Some albums are torture to get through and this one wasn’t at all.
Good background music for work, can’t say I’d enjoy it at another time. Couldn’t hear the lyrics for some odd reason even though Spotify said there were lyrics, not sure what was up with that.
There’s just things a white guy shouldn’t be saying… I think I can leave it at that. Also just painful to get through.
When this album started I assumed it would be a 2, the beginning really threw me off. As the album went on it just grew on me more and more. By the end I was really enjoying it and wanted to listen again. Will be listening to this album again. Quite an experiment sound and drastic changes between the songs. I just have to say, what was up with the spooky Halloween voice at the beginning of the album?! Thank goodness that was short lived or the ranking would have stayed around a 2.
Long album, but an easy listen. Some of these albums feel like they go on for years, this was longer than most of those and felt like a breeze. Shows the impact of a great album. Some really standout songs, a solid feel all the way through.
This is by far the best album I have come across in this project. Granted I’m only on album 75, I wish I could give this a 6. This is an album that made me rethink my scoring scale accuracy. I loved just about every song and knew each this would be a 5 very early on, but as it went on my opinion was continuously validated.
Have stay, I enjoyed this some songs much for than others, but this is an experimental album done well. I feel like with more time I would enjoy this album even more. Debated giving it a 4, but honestly think it’s a honest 3 at this time. Great intro to Kate Bush, I will be listening to more of her music.
Honestly a very well done album, coming from someone who doesn’t really like rap music. If this wasn’t Kanye, I may just give it a 5, but it’s just not quite there. If a half point could be awarded, I think this would be 4.5, but not worth the round up. Loved more songs on this album than I thought I would going into it.
Really thought I would rank this higher going into it, but wasn’t as impressed as I hoped. String start to the album and then they really started to lose me. Not too long, but also didn’t impress me anymore on the second listen.
Listen were there good beats? Maybe. Did I need to listen to this before I die? For the crude humor… I guess. But truly? No, not at all. Why was that so long and how does a group make so many songs about sex, sex pills and the concerning experiences. Not sure how one could find this to be quality or profound. Digital underground and all their sex packets could have stayed underground as far as I’m concerned.
Incredible Christmas album, and some true classics when in comes to the Christmas season. Can’t imagine the season without some of these hits. On the other hand, wish this album was not associated with Phil Spector…
I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this album and wish 1/2 point rankings were available, a 3 seems slightly too low but a 4 seems too high. I will be listening to more T. Rex and am thankful for this project for introducing me to this album.
Really enjoyed this album, can’t say this is my go to music, but did like listening to each song.
Really enjoyed this much more than I thought I would. A fun experimental sound.
