Started out strong but then became a bit of a slog

Not my usual genre but enjoyed this !

I’ve decided that 3 stars is my default rating to say that an album is pretty good!

Good for the drive to the Renaissance Fair

One of my favorite albums of all time

This is a long time favorite of mine. I love Janelle Monae's early music and I'm glad this project made me revisit it. I love the variety of music and instrumentation that never gets boring. The world building is subtle and super enjoyable to dive into throughout the album. 5 stars!!

Full circle as my first album in this project was Tim Buckley ! Hated every minute of this listen except for Hallelujah and Lover Come Over.

Not for me at all. Had the benefit of being short and fast paced

Boring so idk why it was on here. It worked as a background music for working. Toward the end it did make me want to turn on the Sims 2 Nightlife soundtrack.
