Overall, a nice, easy-listening album. The title song probably is the strongest.
A normal, easy listening album, but not very memorable.
A pretty heavy album, but sounds good - angry, vivid and powerful. Listening all songs back-to-back was a bit hard on the ears, but overall a decent album.
Great rock album, fun, steady beat that makes you shake your head in sync with the rythm. Gimme All Your Lovin’ and Sharp Dressed Man are classics, certified bangers. Overall, very strong album with one or two skips.
I don't know, I guess I just don't really like his music, the storytelling, rather than singing. The title song was rather interesting.
The band is a classic, liked some songs a lot, some where not that memorable.
Reminds me of Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones, very folk-thematic, which makes sense, as it is a folk-rock band. Not my cup of tea, as while the music is beautiful, it is quite chaotic and monotone. Not a big fan of the tone of the voice of the female singer, as it is quite high all the time and just seems as she's not singing fully from her chest. Hunting Song and Sally Go Round the Roses were the highlights of the album.
It sounded more than a storytelling album with some basic music on the side, rather than a musical album. Very monotone, all songs sounded the same, normal, but the same. Nick Cave vibes. Did have some interesting lyrics though - the stories.
It’s a good, heavy album. A bit chaotic for my taste, but still pretty decent.
Musically and lyrically pleasing album, great sound and songwriting. Great closing with You Make Me Feel, couple other great songs too.
Tried listening to this three times, couldn't push it through.
Didn't really stand out to me, just an average group from back in the day. Liked the music tho.
A solid, emotional album with a warm atmosphere. Nina’s voice has a distinctive, pleasant tone, but the music works best as a backdrop rather than something that fully holds your attention for focused listening.
Great album, easy to listen, quite laid back. Solid throughout.
It was ok, nothing too exciting, but nothing too bad as well. Just, not very memorable.
I guess this was innovative for their time, but I just don't this whiney-talking type of "singing" that is off-beat too many times for my liking.
A beautiful, melodic album, pleasure to listen to. Two outstanding pieces - Tiny Dancer and Indian Sunset.
While the first two songs were good, with punchy lyrics, listening through all of it felt a bit hard. It's a good album, and good songs, but the manner of signing, the way he articulates words, not my personal favorite.
Excellent album, fresh, Blue Orchid, My Doorbell are outstanding bangers, this deserves to be appreciated.
While it is a dated album, it also sounds so. The music is occasionally nice, but not my style.
I believe this album should not have been in the Top 1,000 albums at all. Sounds like a gimmicky version of other artists, nothing original. Did have a nice verse of Kendrick's tho.
First time listening to the band, a strong album, good songs, great first impressions.
Great album, a nice feel while staying true to themselves, bit bluesy, exceptional acoustics.
Did not believe this was the Rolling Stones at first - so different than the songs I know from them. Loved the cover of Route 66!
It's a nice album, won't remember it though.
It was good-sounding, nostalgic album that gives the same feeling as you have when listening to Fallout soundtracks. Actually, should get back to playing the game again...
Besides the 2-3 songs that feel like from a different album (the covers), it’s quite terrible - hardly pushed through.
Funky jazz album with never-ending songs. Would not listen to it daily, but sounds like a nice background elevator or store music.
Solid West Coast 90s hip-hop album with good beats, interesting storylines. A pleasure to listen to.
The music (guitar) was ok, songs, very average.
Now I know where the 'different strokes for different folks' came from.
Great album, reeling you in with rhythm, melody and captivated singing. Some strong ballads, some more energetic song. Sisters of the Moon is phenomenal.
Like with a lot of albums from that time - while the music is solid, the vocals - not so much.
I though this was a cute and lovely album, melodic, roadtrips through the countryside kind of vibe.
Usually not a big fan of semi-speaking, semi-singing songs, but I really liked this album, the music worked beautifully with his semi-singing, quite versatile and fun.
Great east-coast rap album, with solid beats, spitting bars and insane range of collaborators. Can feel it instantly that he's a part of the Wu-Tang Clan. Favorite tracks: Champ, Be Easy among others
The harmonies throughout the album are so satisfying to listen to. Overall a great album, not sure if this is folk or indie or whatever genre, but it sure is lovely and easy to listen to. White Winter Hymnal is phenomenal.
Didn't understand a single thing, but this felt like some drugs were put into the songs - the music, the melody was so good and live, while the sound of their voices gave a nice boost. Really enjoyed this!
Absolutely phenomenal album. Not sure whether this is rock or metal or something in between, but it just works - versatile, strong and dramatic. War Pigs, Paranoid, Iron Man amongst other songs, absolutely amazing.
While it was ok for the most part, it will not stay in my mind whatsoever.
Didn't really like it - yet again, I didn't really like any of Morrissey's albums too, so it makes sense.
An easy-listening reggae album with a legendary song - No Woman, No Cry. Them Belly Full was also a great piece to listen to. However, just a bit too much along the same lines. I don't know why - but No Woman, No Cry sounded a bit rushed than the rather popular version of his, I believe.
I liked this album a bit better than "You are the Quarry", but it is still too whiney for my taste.
I think it was a good album, Kanye's influence as the producer can be easily heard. It is soulful, but it felt like a spark is missing, to be counted as a memorable album.
After listening to this album, it just left a messy aftertaste, chaotic, somewhat melodic, can agree that it is a "trip-hop" album, but didn't feel like listening to anything great or good, actually.
This sounds like an angry teenager band, screaming their anger in the void and just slamming anything they can. Very random, but the energy is intense.
A classic. Strong title song and while most of AC/DC songs sound the same - they are all very good, energetic, powerful and fun rock songs.
Pretty average, but sounded good.
If you take out the political and victim-like messaging of the lyrics, the melody and the singing is quite nice. Fast car is and will always be a classic.
It is played wonderfully, quite soulful, but I would never listen to this kind of music on my own.
Phenomenal album. Strong, versatile and with so many outstanding songs that are still relevant today. American Idiot, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Wake Me Up When September Ends, Holiday and so on. Love it.
A revolutionary hip-hop album. Versatile and energetic songs, filled with stories, feelings and opinions. Could listen to the album again and again - it is fun, action-packed and well written. Many songs are now a rap classic.
A decent, melodic album, as always, lovely harmonies. Nothing outstanding, but nothing negative to say about the album.
The music is ok, I guess, nothing phenomenal, but the guy's a pedo and that just made it way less than ok to listen to.
Metallica has a distinct sound and power in their songs that is easily recognizable, but this was not my favorite album of theirs.
This was fun.
I have listened to a couple of the songs previously and liked them, but I listed to this album a several times on different days and it just works wonders with my brain and mood. Didn't plan on this - but this album is a banger.
I wish I liked this more, but I didn't, while it was ok listening to two songs in a row, the whole album was quite hard to sit through
This girl could sing! Love the energy, emotion and raspiness of her voice.
Come on Eileen, why everything sounds the same? The singer's voice reminds me of Goofy.
A melodic, well-sounding album, the singer has a lovely voice.
I liked the music, the melody, but hated the singing and everything around it.
This really has the feel of hip hop in 2006. Kick, Push was monumental.
It's a solid, old-school hip-hop album.
While my top CCR songs are from a different album, the vibes are present with this album too.
Liked this a lot: beep-boop & feel-good.
A great, feel-good and uplifting album, with a couple classics.
A solid, melodic album before they became mega-annoying.
No notes.
Awesome album by the Green Day - couple classics right there.
