1001 Albums Summary

It was okay. Not sure I've ever actually sat through a whole beach boys album, was expecting 30 minutes of good vibrations and I'm happy it wasn't that.

I was ready for this to be over. I know this album is (at least a few songs of it) are considered to be wildly popular but to me i felt like i was held hostage for an hour by generally, the same sound. Every dong just kind of devolved into the same harmony? It all blended together to me into one long commute.

2 I feel like this is not bowies best work. And im already not exactly the biggest bowie fan But props for almost doing the brat album cover 10 years early. I guess.

This one is definitely biased, as i really jjst kind of hate michael Jackson.

Love the pixies, and this album in particular was one of the first that really stood out to me in my youth. The last time i listened to them though was when i saw them at the Pavillion... and there was no kim.

2 i really hate giving stuff a low score based in the context of the list. However, i was not excited to see more beach boys. 3 beach boys albums is already too much. I never seek them out, and i groaned when i saw this as the album today.

2 I had high hopes for this one? It looked interesting, was expecting some sort of electronic groove. But overall, long boring and kinda bland.

Im not getting jaded/ tired of 70s entire male rockbands, you are. Fine album, i just feel like its nothing special that i haven't heard before. I did enjoy this more than most stones albums. Maybe my review would be higher had i listened when i was more in the mood/ not as tired of the 70s.

I haven't known most of the albums we've gotten on the list- But this one? Oh yeah, already a big fan, although admittedly i only discovered it early this year. I just really love the flow of this album, and the eerie vibe that makes you feel like you're crusing a semi-dense city on a dark night. I'm also so relieved whenever we get a female vocalist on this list.

Banger after banger.

Someone gifted me this album when i was a kid and it was one of the first albums i owned. It is not one i really have much lasting appreciation for though, i acknowledge its all iconic songs but All acdc sounds the same to me after like... middleschool and i could not sit through this whole acdc album in 2026.
