London Calling by The Clash
Jul 26 2026

It’s ok. Maybe I’m considering this in the light of modern music, but it’s not insane. Probably considered great for its role in rock history.

Jul 27 2026

I loved the first half. To my untrained ear, it sounds like a mix of pink floyd and the strokes. It’s got a spectacular piano that I’ve never really heard before.

Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman

A couple of nice songs

Aja by Steely Dan

I don’t love the artist’s voice, and only found the first song enjoyable.

British rap gets me as excited as lint in a washing machine

What an incredible album. The sound of this is encapsulating. Each track is an experience, no skips.

I can see the appeal. It’s a great album, but I just don’t mesh with the vocals.

This is good dissociation music. You'll lay back and stare up at the ceiling fan in distaste of everything else while listening to this. You'll also play in this in the background whenever. It's simultaneously melodramatic and comfortable at the same time. It's mass-appealing in a way that really draws you in. Somehow, each song is able to flow into the next spectacularly, while remaining fresh at the same time. While each score was completely mesmerizing, I found the singer to somewhat monotonous. I definitely see the appeal in this album, so I'll be giving this 5 stars for what it is, even though I'm not sure if I'll be putting this album on again - or maybe I will. This doesn't seem like a everyday album. It requires a certain mood.
