20 something years later and I can still relate to feeling like a bag of shit inside a ball of anxiety. One of the best albums of the 90s
Great album. Really likes the music but the name of it was misleading haha.
Tim Burton wrote this album about a immortal pirate who moves to New Orleans
Great music to listen to on a calm Saturday morning.
Great Lyrics, you can hear some of the influence on today’s artists. Best part is the original sound where it mixes pop, punk and what sounds like a drunken anthem about grocery shopping
Listening to this was like seeing art. I have no idea what I’m looking at but I guess a ton of artists sampled these songs? Just not my cup o tea
One of the best debut studio albums out there. Songs so nice I listened to them twice.
Golden hippie music. Sgt Pepper probably got high listening to this album.
This album would be the top of my list of I just got broken up with
This is not an album I would say needs to be heard before I die. If anything, I would have preferred never to listen to this album. Sounds like a high school band
Great music, produced well, singing matches the vibe and even though the vocal directions were difficult they were executed perfectly
20 something years later and I can still relate to feeling like a bag of shit inside a ball of anxiety. One of the best albums of the 90s
Gotta say, some interesting/ original sounds. Even though unfinished sweet sounds like an ode to bond music, it's still a weird/unique song
Your grandma probably masterbated to this guy if not to this album. I have no idea how else to describe this
Great album. Really likes the music but the name of it was misleading haha.
What else can you say besides it’s the freakin Beatles
I appreciate the originality of the music paving the way to a new genre that helped create st peppers and others but I could not see myself listening to the album again for any reason or in any state.
Flava flave and bring the noize along with the original grunge hip hop. Iconic
I just couldn’t with this album. Someone needs to inform the manager of the website that sitars do not qualify a good album
I’m not one of those cult fans of Bruce Springstein, but I am a fan of America, so I will inflate his rating to 5 instead of 4.
Great guitarist but could see myself listening to any of these songs
Fantastic album. Wasn’t a fan of them until I heard this album just this Friday
A mix of Austin Powers, Peter Frampton, Ian Raymond from High Fidelity and much more. This album is like a Jackson Pollock painting, all over the place.
This entire album has been sampled, I guarantee. Great vibes and sounds.
The temptations got me on Cloud 9. And I think the main guy is a Eunique
Look I get it, it miles fuckin Davis, but I cant say that I would listen to any of these songs
Dude has multiple 5 star albums. Wish he stayed around, could blessed us with even more.
I have no idea what’s going on but I like it
One of the best albums. The original chill vibe. Fuckin love Paul Simon
I realized that I don’t like the flaming lips.
Pretty good for a blues album, not a fan of blues typically
Hard to listen to don’t stop ‘til you get enough without thinking about his past
I’m sure you can appreciate the originality and genre inspiring but wtf is this shit
Beautiful, majestic, romantic are all the things this album is and I am not
I DM’d the C if you know what I mean. You can def tell how they basically created beastie boys
I am a fan of Trance and Techno and even I couldn’t follow this one. Maybe it was cause I was high, but I would argue that if anything it would have had a positive affect. Instead I it felt like I was at a weird NY one man show listening to an artistic interpretation of how someone was on a train.
STOP and my 90s nostalgia go together like peas and carrots Jenny
Run Charlie run wand papa was a rolling stone were awesome. Rest was great
I had no idea Bobcat Goldthwait sang “Come on Eileen”
Tim Burton wrote this album about a immortal pirate who moves to New Orleans
Among the hits, rock and roll aint noise pollution is the ode to rock the world needed in 1980. AC/DC, showing you can have beauty in the simple and then party like motley crue
Great samples, beats, bars, and bangers. Could not ask for more out of an album
Great album but not his best. The subtlety transports you to a ranch in the spring
You have to listen to this loud to match the vocals with the instruments or else you’ll hear more instruments than the vocals. Which is either brilliant for a punk band or just because I listened on YouTube
Not my cup of tea but I def thought this was going to be less flowery and more like metal
Very chill but somewhat unique vibe. No bangers/ memorable songs to me though
I always respect anyone who uses the accordion outside of Polka
Very chill, I enjoyed almost every song. Over yonder in the Mountain is def being added to a playlist
My Dad loves this guy. Classic hometown jesus country.
Honestly, I could never really get into the Talking Heads so this album was pretty average for me
Take On Me deserves 3 stars. There’s not much else on the album but you might get into 1 or 2 other songs
Another 90’s British punk group that sounds like a 90’s British punk group
Better 80’s punk album. No hits though but a nice listen
Truly one of the greatest albums ever made. Friend of the devil is one of my favorite songs ever
Less of an album and more of a collection of singles. Songs are good though. Funky beats
Whit woman singing soul music makes me feel dirty. But the songs are good
It’s crazy to think that this is probably one of the greatest albums ever made but not even one of the best Beatles albums. Fuckin yoko just had to ruin it for everyone
Pretty dark until you hear “here comes your man”. Did they sneak that song in thinking people wouldnt notice?
Ray of light has a special place in my heart but this album is garbage
Actually a pretty good album. Kind of old school country with really good lyrics. Authentic country
