Great electronic organ and drums
Album starts out fun, the middle contrasts with some nice slowed down songs, the ending picks up fun again
Favorite songs - Green Onions, Behave Yourself, One Who Really Loves You,
You Can't Sit Down
Super fun, a bit repetitive. Starts really strong and then levels out
Really consistent, the middle was a little same-y but overall really nice. Reminds me of James Bond for some reason
A few standouts like knights of cydonia, starlight, and glorious, but overall it was quite repetitive (especially the vocals)
Really surprised me. A huge amount of variety in sound and mood
Standouts - synchronicity, every breath you take, king of pain, wrapped around your finger, murder by numbers
Mother was awful
Favorite songs: jeru, moon dreams, deception, rocker, Israel
Some of the best guitar playing I’ve ever heard. Great vocals and harmonies. Blown away by this album. So full of energy.
Standouts: One Nation Under A Groove, Grooveallegiance, Who Says a Funk…, Promental…, p.e. squad, maggot brain
Favorite songs: Purple Haze, Manic Depression, Hey Joe, The Wind Cries Mary, Highway Chile, Red House
I was surprised by how good the drumming was on some songs. Playing around with the dynamic range on songs like I Don’t Live Today was pretty cool
Standouts - solidify, all I wanna do
Not bad, feels a bit repetitive. Inoffensive.
Standouts: Some Things
Meh, nothing memorable. The variety of sounds was nice.
Standouts: wipeouts on the wave of Armageddon
Standouts: Gangsters, A message to you Rudy, too much too young, you’re wondering now
Standouts: Whispering Pines, Rockin Chair, The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down, Jawbone
Nice variety, but nothing really noteworthy.
Nice variety in music, very whimsical at parts. A ton of different moods and sounds and instruments.
Standouts: Sara, Storms, Angel
A huge range of emotions and moods. Really like the transition anc intrastate of what makes you… and storms
Classic voice, great storytelling, great playing
Classic, Soundtrack for so much of my life
Alright is a classic, Ends really strongly with Time and Sofa of My Lethargy
Lots of variety, was really impressed with the multi dimensional sounds. Didn’t expect the acoustic tracks to be so good
A bit slow and meandering for my tastes, but Chicago remains an extremely powerful song
Classic English sound
Standouts: Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova
Classic album, top to bottom with iconic songs and sounds. Really hits a nice mood
Favorites: Is This It, Last Nite, Someday, Hard to Explain
Dancing in the dark will always be a banger
All time classic.
