The Idiot
Iggy PopI didn't like this album. Something about the dissonance they used and the singing made this album hard for me to listen to. Not my cup of tea. Favorite song: Tiny Girls Worst song: Nightclubbing
I didn't like this album. Something about the dissonance they used and the singing made this album hard for me to listen to. Not my cup of tea. Favorite song: Tiny Girls Worst song: Nightclubbing
This album is great. I was nervous when I saw that the first few songs were quite long, but I was grooving and vibing to all the songs. There's some great funk and got me moving in my seat. Really enjoyable album to listen to. Favorite song: Will You Cry (When You Hear This Song) Worst song: N/A
The album is alright, I definitely prefer the faster/more upbeat songs compared to their slower songs. Their voice doesn't really catch me for slower songs. Songs like "Gimme Shelter" and the faster part of "Midnight Rambler" is what I enjoy versus the slower style of "Country Tonk" or "Live With Me". Also you can tell this album is from the 60's from its excessive use of having sounds in only one ear. Favorite song: Gimmie Shelter Worst song: Country Tonk
Most songs are good, some songs are way too long, but the songs that aren't too long are good Favorite song: She bangs the drums Worst song: Fool's Gold
A Tribe Called Quest has a very smooth style of rapping. I often don't listen to the lyrics and focus more on the flow, which makes their music good for background music imo. The songs cut off super quick at the end, making it hard to discern the end of one song and the start of another. Favorite song: Butter Worst song: Scenario or What
I didn't know Steely Dan was a Rock-'n'-roll band and not a Rock band. Their songs are a lot more pop-y than I thought they would be. But the songs are still catchy. Album starts off strong, but the songs in the middle I didn't really enjoy. But still ended on a decent note with "King of the World" Favorite song: Razor Boy Worst song: Show Biz Kids
Not really feeling their punk style. Not sure why, maybe just the singer's voice, but it doesn't catch me. Or maybe their riffs aren't as catchy, since punk repeats their riffs a lot. At least since it's punk, the album and songs are short Favorite song: The Hives are Law, You are Crime Worst song: idk, don't really like any of the songs
I don't have many opinions about this album. It sounded like generic rock to me, I didn't hate it, but I didn't particularly enjoy any of the songs. It felt like an album Jason would listen to while driving or something. Favorite song: N/A Worst song: N/A
The album is very short considering there's 21 songs, only 35 minutes. A lot of the songs are pretty short. There's a couple of songs that I like, but overall I think the album is a little too experimental for my taste. Favorite song: Mannequin Worst song: Brazil
This album is fuuunnnky. I haven't listened to much jazz outside of pop culture stuff, so this album was really nice to listen to. Although not every song completely grabbed me, I was vibing with the whole album. Plus it's a nice length, if it was longer I might have gotten sick of it. Favorite song: Holiday Worst song: N/A
I didn't like this album. Maybe old school punk isn't my taste. The songs weren't very catchy and the singing didn't do it for me. Idk why, just not my thing I guess. Favorite song: N/A Worst song: Ugly
"Now you must aquire a taste for free-form jazz" -Patrick Star I like this album, some stuff goes a little too jazzy (i.e. freeform or something) for my liking, but I was definitely grooving to this album Also is this a JoJo reference? Favorite song: Birdland or Teen Town Worst song: Harlequin
The album was ok I guess, I didn't like the talking parts of songs, or the fact that almost all of them are at the beginning of songs. That means I can't easily skip past them like I do in Good kid m.a.a.d city. The songs themselves are alright, most feel more like background music than anything. Favorite song: Don't die just yet Worst song: Let's get killed
The album is alright. Sinatra does have a great singing voice, but I feel like this album was putting me to sleep. I guess the title of the album does make sense. I guess I prefer faster/more upbeat crooner songs (Fly me to the moon, L-O-V-E) Favorite song: Moon Indigo Worst song: idk, Dancing on the Ceiling I guess?
Man, I don't like Steven Tyler's voice. It really is annoying to listen to. And the rest of the music is alright. Guess I don't really like Aerosmith. Favorite song: Don't get mad, get even Worst song: Young lust
The album is ok I guess. Old school electronica doesn't really seem to do it to me. It's like background noise. Favorite song: Don't stop the rock Worst song: The private psychedelic reel
The album is decent. The music is pretty good, but the weird pickup artist stuff at the beginning of some songs is kinda cringe. Favorite song: Woman of the world Worst song: Middle class heroes
I enjoy this album, it's a little too long for my liking, but at least the music is good, so I can't complain too much. The longer (6+ minute) songs I feel are too long and start to drag on, but they're still good. Favorite song: Summer Soft or Sir Duke Worst song: Easy Goin' Evening
This album almost put me to sleep. Basic old-school country can be good, but this ain't it chief. Favorite song: If you want to be my woman Worst song: Life in prison
I enjoyed this album, I think the songs are some good bops. It's not super unique or have a specific voice, but I'm a sucker for this kind of music. Favorite song: No surface all feeling Worst song: Interiors
I enjoyed this album. I've never really listened to Amy Winehouse so I feel like this was a good introduction to her music. Catchy and a little jazzy. Favorite song: In my bed Worst song: Fuck me pumps
This is a great album. I was jamming out to all the songs, and I like that the album was pretty short. Better for an album to be short and sweet rather than drag on for too long. Favorite song: Black magic woman / Gypsy queen Worst song: El Nicoya
More old school country music. Almost fell asleep again listening to this album. And jeez all these songs are depressing, a couple cheating and hating each other. Honestly I felt worse after listening to this album. Favorite song: N/A Worst song: idk, Saint to a sinner
As with the other punk albums, I wasn't feeling this one. I enjoyed it a bit more the others, but overall still doesn't seem to be my jam. Favorite song: Pretty Suzanne Worst song: That's My Girl
This album is ok. His voice is nice, but the music didn't captivate me in any way. Plus parts felt like they dragged on. Just not my thing I guess. Favorite song: Morning Dew Worst song: Blues Deluxe
This album is pretty good, I think the songs were enjoyable. The n-word being thrown out in one of the songs completely caught me off guard. Product of it's time and all that, but still felt weird. But besides that, I think the songs are decently catchy. Favorite song: Two Little Hitlers (feels weird putting a song with this title as my favorite) Worst song: Oliver's Army (purely for the n-word)
I really enjoyed this album, the songs were fun and had me grooving a bit. Definitely a fun album to listen to. Favorite song: Sunlight Worst song: Smug (besides the interlude songs)
(Note: I listened only to Vol. 1, cuz the full album is 2+ hours long and I didn't feel like listening to the whole thing) I like this album. The music is nice to bop along to, but I don't think it's as good as Kenya by Machito. I was grooving more to Kenya, but this album is still good. Maybe I've just been spoiled lol. Favorite song: Hong Kong Mambo Worst song: idk, Cuando The Vea (Guaguanco)
This is a boring album. The music felt like royalty free music that you would find in like a movie or something. I was not feeling anything from this album. Favorite song: Older before I die Worst song: Baby girl window
This album is meh, didn't really like any of the songs, but I didn't hate them either. It was just kinda like noise going into my ear. Favorite song: Little queen of darkness Worst song: Session man
I like this album, to my surprise. Her singing is good and the songs were enjoyable. Definitely not my favorite album, but it's good. Sucks that it's not on Spotify though. Favorite song: Car on a hill Worst song: Twisted
I liked this album, I've never listened to Simon and Garfunkel besides Sound of Silence and I am a Rock, so it was good to listen to more of their stuff. The songs were enjoyable and I was vibing with it. Favorite song: Bridge Over Troubled Water Worst song: So Long, Frank Lloyd Wright
This album is kinda boring. I didn't really care for any of the songs except for Car Wheels on a Gravel Road. All the other songs were putting me to sleep or just went in one ear and out the other. Favorite song: Car Wheels on a Gravel Road Worst song: Joy
This album is ok. This album felt like it had like 3 different songs repeated 3 times. They are fun to listen to the first time, but listening to the whole album grew kinda old. Favorite song: Tutti Frutti Worst song: Jenny Jenny
This album is meh. I think I enjoyed it a little more than the other punk albums, but I still didn't enjoy it too much. Would give it 1.5 stars if I could. Favorite song: Love like anthrax Worst song: Glass
I really enjoyed this album. I think the album is strong throughout the whole album. A couple of dips here and there, but this album is a bop and cements me as a Steely Dan fan. Favorite song: Rikki Don't Lose That Number Worst song: Charlie Freak
This album is pretty good. The only song I really enjoyed was Pacific 202, but the other songs were decent. Also helps that I heard Pacific 202 before. This is the first early Electronica album that I enjoyed. Favorite song: Pacific 202 Worst song: 808080808
This album is ok. Nothing too special, kinda generic, but I can still enjoy some of the songs on the album. Would say this is the perfect 2.5/5 album. The album itself is also pretty long, don't know if it needed 3 instrumental songs. Favorite song: The Weaver Worst song: Moon On Your Pyjamas
I didn't like this album. Something about the dissonance they used and the singing made this album hard for me to listen to. Not my cup of tea. Favorite song: Tiny Girls Worst song: Nightclubbing
I didn't like this album. The songs weren't enjoyable and felt like they would never end. Definitely not for me. Favorite song: N/A Worst song: Doctor Please
This album is ok. The music isn't super catchy or enjoyable, but it's also not offensive or painful to listen to. It's just kinda there and doesn't make me feel anything. Better than nothing. Favorite song: Tamalpais High Worst song: Traction in the rain
This album is meh. The first two songs start off alright, but it just does not keep the energy through the rest of the album. It's not my kind of pop music. Favorite song: Please Forgive Me Worst song: Say Hello, Wave Goodbye
This is a pretty good album. I feel like this album is a good example of toe-tapping. It's not super energetic, but gets you into a little groove while enjoying the music. I still hate having the audio split between left and right ears though, please let me enjoy the music with just one earbud in. Favorite song: Please Mister Postman Worst song: Roll Over Beethoven
This album is ok. Some songs I enjoy, some songs I really didn't enjoy, and the rest were meh. His voice I think is the main thing, in some songs his voice really works, but some songs his voice is really irritating. Overall, everything cancels out and we get an ok album. 2.5/5 Favorite song: Octopus Worst song: If It's in You
This album is good in a weird way. The guitar sounds strange, but enjoyable. It's kinda hard to put how this album sounds into words. But either way, I enjoyed it. Probably won't go looking for more music like this, but I enjoyed this. Favorite song: Beto Worst song: Gambari Didi
This album is really good. The songs are catchy and I was grooving while listening along. I think with Stevie Wonder's songs, it's better if I'm not listening too attentively and is just better to just feel the music and go with the groove. If I focus too much on the music, it gets too repetitive, but when I'm not focusing on the music itself, the repetition works a lot better. Favorite song: Golden Lady Worst song: Living for the City
I liked this album. I had to start it a few times until I was really in a metal mood, and it took a few songs in for it to grow on me. Not my favorite metal songs, but still got me head-banging a bit. I still prefer metal without screaming vocals, but I think this album helped me appreciate those vocals more than before. Favorite song: Live in a Hole Worst song: Walk
This album is ok. The first few songs are good, but the songs later in the album fall off for me. The weird commercial interludes at the beginning of songs don't work for me either, maybe because I wasn't paying attention to them and I didn't really hear what they were saying. Also what a weird album name. Favorite song: Ogden's Nut Gone Flake Worst song: Lazy Sunday
This album is ok. Another day, another punk rock album. At least the singer for this album isn't as annoying as some of the other punk albums. But still not my jam. Favorite song: 1970 Worst song: L.A. Blues
This album is pretty good. I had low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed a few of their songs. The album dipped for me after a few songs, but it definitely started out strong. Favorite song: 8:05 Worst song: Changes
This album is good. It's kinda generic rock, but in a good way that makes it pretty easy to listen to. I wouldn't say it's the best rock album ever, but it's definitely a fun listen. Favorite song: Panama Worst song: Hot for teacher
This album is pretty decent. Nothing too special but nothing terrible either. I feel like this album is perfectly average. Definitely got an 80's vibe from this album too. Favorite song: Down on Mission Street Worst song: Four Fights Up
This album is ok. It felt like very generic dad rock to me, like I was at a barbeque and this was playing in the background just so there's some noise to fill in the silence. It's not bad, but just rock. Also one song is literally 1/4 of the album, like I liked the beginning of "I heard it through the grapevine", but then I realized I wasn't even 1/3 of the way through the song. Favorite song: Up around the bend Worst song: I heard it through the grapevine
This album is ok. I really like the guitar and drums and overall sound of the band, but the singing just ruins it for me. Some songs his singing works and I enjoy them, but for the majority of the songs I didn't like it. Favorite song: Yeah We Know Worst song: Don't
This album is pretty good. The music is upbeat and nice to listen to, even if I don't understand what's being said. The Imagine cover is also pretty good. Although it won't affect my rating, trying to listen to this album on YouTube was annoying as hell, since no one has uploaded the whole album, and the one playlist for the album has the songs out of order and with misspellings in the song titles. Favorite song: El Harba Wine Worst song: idk, I can't remember which song is which honestly
This album is ok. It's short and sweet, but all the songs blend into one, they all sound so similar. Because the album is so short, it doesn't bother as much, but I probably wouldn't be able to distinguish one song from another. Favorite song: Money, only one that has a different sound Worst song: Long Tall Sally, idk
This album is ok. A couple of the songs are good, but overall a bit boring. Not much else to say about this album. Favorite song: River song, this song has pretty good energy to it Worst song: Farewell My Friend, was gonna fall asleep listening to this song
This album is decent. I enjoyed some of the songs, but most are just good for background music. Like with most electronica, you can't pay too much attention to the music or else it'll get too repetitive and will become annoying to listen to. Best to put this album on and do something else while this plays in the background. Favorite song: Someone Great Worst song: New York I Love You, But You're Bringing Me Down
This album is pretty good. The music is good, but I'm personally not a fan of live albums. But the music is pretty good, although some of the songs do sound similar. But overall it's pretty good. Favorite song: Having a Party Worst song:Twistin' the Night Away
This album is not for me. Or maybe I'm just listening to it with the wrong context. If I was in a pub or hanging out with friends at a bar this album would probably be way more enjoyable. But, as I sit here in my room by myself listening to this album, I'm really not feeling it. And it's hard for me to get the punk social commentary when I can't understand the singer. Favorite song: A Pistol for Paddy Garcia Worst song:
I like this album. Not every song goes super hard, but there are a bunch that are a real bop. The songs are great for getting you in a groove, and I was jamming along to the songs. Definitely the best electronica album I've listened to so far. Favorite song: music makes you lose control Worst song: Disco II disco
I liked this album. The guitar playing was great, and his singing fit well with it for the most part. However, the instrumental songs were my favorite part of the album; they're so soothing to listen to. Also, the song Sunday reminds me of the Super Smash Bros Brawl Trophy music lmao. Favorite song: Bryter Layter Worst song: Poor Boy
This album is ok. It feels like pretty basic dad rock, and I'm not a huge fan of Tom Petty's voice. Good background music for a party I guess. Favorite song: The Wild One, Forever Worst song: Fooled Again (I Don't Like It)
I didn't like this album. I simply do not vibe with this at all, most of the songs just sound like noise to me and weren't enjoyable. But that seems to be the case for most old school punk albums to me. Favorite song: N/A Worst song: N/A
This album is pretty good. Some songs are good while others are meh. TBH I expected this album to be more dad-rock than it actually is, which is good. Also, does the last song in albums need to be ridiculously long, like why is Jungleland 9 minutes long? Favorite song: Born to Run Worst song: Jungleland
I like this album. It's very atmospheric and good background music, since the songs have a good ambient feel to them. I think the songs would've been better if there was no talking/words in it, but it's not a deal breaker. Favorite song: Water from a Vine Leaf Worst song: Deus Ex Machina
This album is meh. I didn't really enjoy any of the songs on the album, just didn't 'click" I guess. Not my cup of tea. Favorite song: N/A Worst song: N/A
This album is great. I was nervous when I saw that the first few songs were quite long, but I was grooving and vibing to all the songs. There's some great funk and got me moving in my seat. Really enjoyable album to listen to. Favorite song: Will You Cry (When You Hear This Song) Worst song: N/A
This album is alright. I really like the guitar playing in the songs, but not enough to listen to it for 90 minutes straight. Also I didn't like the singing or the weird transitions between songs. If the album was shorter I probably would enjoy it more, but that's not the style of the genre. Favorite song: Brainstorm Worst song: Born to Go
This album is good. The rapping is good and the flow is nice, but for some reason I can't fully get into this album. I feel like I should enjoy this album more than I did, but I can't put my finger on exactly why. Favorite song: Who's Gonna Take The Weight? Worst song: Lovesick
This album is pretty good. It's got good energy and has a nice nice of songs. I think the first half of the album is better than the second half, but the second half songs aren't bad either. Also Private Dancer is a good song, but could be shorter. Favorite song: What's Love Got to Do with It Worst song: I Can't Stand the Rain
I really like this album. The songs are great bops and I enjoyed almost every song. Definitely a fun album to listen to. Plus the Sgt Pepper intro and reprise are fun intros and decent songs themselves. Favorite song: With A Little Help From My Friends Worst song: Within You Without You
This album is decent, I enjoyed some of the songs, but other songs are just kinda noise. But overall I like this album. Favorite song: If Only Worst song: I Was a Teenage Hand Model
This is definitely my favorite album I've listened to so far. Every song is an absolute bop and I don't think there's a single bad song on this album. Steely Dan is definitely my favorite band I've found through this website. Wish I knew about them earlier. Favorite song: Do It Again (it's so hard to pick a favorite song from this album, they're all so good) Worst song: N/A
I did not like this album. I can barely call some of the tracks on this album music, and those I do call music are weird and off putting. Definitely not my cup of tea. Favorite song: The sound of someone you love who's going away and it doesn't matter Worst song: Milk or Pigtail
This album is ok. Something about it I can't put my finger on is not working for me. Maybe it's the singing, or the guitar playing, not sure. But for whatever reason, I did not really enjoy this album. Favorite song: N/A Worst song: N/A
I enjoyed this album. Even though I don't understand the lyrics, I found the album fun to listen to. The guitar playing is quite a different style from the other albums I've listened to, so this album stands out a lot from the rest. Favorite song: Soubour Worst song: Mali
This album is pretty good. Some songs are better than others, but overall the songs are good. I honestly don't have many opinions about this album. Favorite song: Halo Worst song: Blue Dress
I don't know how I feel about this album. Some of the songs are good and enjoyable, but they're sandwiched between these weird experimental songs that I have a hard time describing as music. I really like the singing in the album, but most of the songs are instrumental. So overall, I think this album is just ok. Favorite song: The Sage Worst song: The Old Castle
This album is pretty good. Some songs are good, and most are decent. I feel like most songs have too many effects on them that make them sound overproduced or something. Favorite song: In Limbo Worst song: Kid A
This album is pretty good. There are some good songs, but my god is this album long. It just kept going and going, so it felt like the album had a ton of filler songs between the songs I enjoyed. Favorite song: While My Guitar Gently Weeps Worst song: Birthday Worst 8 minutes of noise: Revolution 9
I like this album. Old school country is pretty good, and I like Cash's singing. The songs in the album are a weird mix of sad/melancholy and humor. At first I didn't like the crowd cheering during songs, but I can tolerate it by the end, I'd still prefer it to be quiet but that's just my opinion. Unsurprisingly a lot of songs about prison in a performance at a prison. Favorite song: Jackson Worst song: 25 Minutes to Go
I didn't like this album. I was interested in listening to Kate Bush with how much Running Up That Hill blew up, but this album feels too experimental for me. Her regular singing voice is awesome, but when she does a more screaming voice, it just sounds off to me. I was hoping for more basic synthwave-esque music, but maybe that's on me for not knowing better. Favorite song: Houdini (except the yelling at the end of the chorus) Worst song: The Dreaming
I don't have many feelings about this album. Feels more like background music I would hear in a party than something I actively listen to. So don't love, don't hate, just kinda there. Favourite song: Which Do You Love Worst song: Happy Trails
I liked this album. I was surprised how many slow songs there were, I was expecting this album to be very high energy and high tempo, but I enjoyed the songs nonetheless. Favorite song: Let the Good Times Roll Worst song: It Had to Be You
I didn't like this album. I almost fell asleep listening to this album. It felt like there were two kinds of songs on this album, standard country song and slow quiet country song. And the songs themselves were quite boring, both lyrically and musically. 1.5/5 Favorite song: N/A Worst song: N/A, all the songs blended together so I can't recall any specific song I liked or hated.
I didn't really like this album. The music was fine, but I didn't enjoy the singing. The themes of the songs were cool, especially Androgynous, but everything else got in the way of me enjoying the album. Definitely not the album for me. 1.5/5 Favorite song: Black Diamond Worst song: Tommy Gets His Tonsils Out
I really like this album. Although the singing is quite simple, it does a great job at contrasting the really complex music behind it. Really great songs to bop your head to. 5/5 Favorite song: Sultans of Swing (duh) Worst song: Wild West End
I surprisingly didn't hate this album. This is the first punk album I listened to and didn't think was too bad. It's still not an album I would listen to normally, but it was decent. 2.5/5 Favorite song: Eau D' Bedroom Dancing Worst song: Dude Yr So Crazy!!
I didn't like this album. I almost fell asleep to this album, which to be fair, was the vibe it was going for. But that's not what I'm looking for in an album. Plus a lot of the songs sound the same, so it was hard to know when a song ended and a new song started. 2/5 Favorite song: N/A Worst song: N/A, No opinions on any of the songs on this album.
This album is pretty good. Ella Fitzgerald has got a really great voice, and the backing band is good. By the end of the album, the songs started blurring together for me, but I like the songs enough that it didn't bother me too much. 3.5/5 Favorite song: I Got Rhythm Worst song: Embraceable You
I like this album. I'm not sure if I like the slower songs more or the faster ones, but either way the songs we're good. Honestly don't have too many thoughts about the album, good, but not too standout to me. 3.5/5 Favorite song: Ballad of Big Nothing Worst song: 2:45 AM
This album is ok. The music is very repetitive, which is the style of funk, so I would start off enjoying a song, but would get bored of a song by the end of it. Plus some of the songs are quite long, exasperating the issue. 2.5/5 Favorite song: Give Up the Funk Worst song: P-Funk
This album is ok. I didn't like any of the songs in the first half of the album, but it suddenly picked up at Fakin' It and we much better afterwards. The first half is slow, weird, and kinda boring, while the back half is a lot faster tempo, louder, and more energetic. Overall, the album is just ok. 3/5 Favorite song: A Hazy Shade of Winter Worst song: Save the Life of My Child (Actual worst track is Voices of Old People, but that's not a song)
I enjoyed this album. I liked the more up-tempo songs more than their slower songs, but some songs were just too long for me. There were a couple of times (Desire Lines & He Would Have Laughed) where I went, "Wait, this song's still playing?" But, the songs I did like, I liked a lot. 3/5 Favorite song: Helicopter Worst song: Basement Scene
I didn't really like this album. I don't really like the singer's voice, but I can't put my finger on why. The music also felt off, but some songs were just ok. Overall, I probably won't listen to this album again. 2/5 Favorite song: Positive Vibrations Worst song: Insanely Jealous of You
Normally I review albums based on how much I like the songs in the album, but this album is different. Not too say I didn't like listening to this album, but damn it hit me hard about all the issues that were mentioned that we're still struggling with 30+ years later. Listening to this album made me sit back and contemplate things, which I have to give a high rating for. As for the actual music, I like it. The beats are nice and the flow of the rapper is smooth. The big issue I would say is that the album is too long. Even though I enjoy the songs, songs felt like they overstayed their welcome and it was hard getting through the entire album imo. 4/5 Favorite song: Satanic Reverses Worst song: Financial Leprosy
I like this album. Aretha Franklin has a great voice, and I enjoyed the funky backing to her singing. I wasn't a huge fan of her slower songs, but they weren't bad. My only problem with this album is that I can't pick out one single song, they all are very similar. No song made me go, "This is awesome!". 4/5 Favorite song: Niki Hokey Worst song: Good to Me as I Am to You
This album is ok. It felt a little too generic to me, like the songs didn't really feel too special to me. That's not to say the songs were bad per se, but they didn't stand out at all. The album came and went, and I just went, "Ok.". 2.5/5 Favorite song: Italian Plastic Worst song: All I Ask
I like this album. The flow is smooth, the beats are fresh, and the rapping is nice. The main issue I have with the album are the non-music interludes, which were weird to me. Overall, good album that was fun to listen to. 4/5 Favorite song: Buddy Worst song: D.A.I.S.Y. Age
This album is ok. Not the kind of electronic music I like. The slower songs I enjoyed more, often because the faster sings had crazier and harsher sounds that I didn't really like. Just not my cup of tea. 2/5 Favorite song: Stop 4 Love Worst song: Yo Yo
This album is decent. The music is pleasing to listen to (for the most part), but nothing really stood out to me musically. However, it's interesting that some of their criticisms of society are still things we struggle with today, which is quite sad to think about. Overall, it's a decent album, but nothing more than decent to me. 3/5 Favorite Song: Painter of Women Worst Song: The Wolf of Velvet Fortune
This album is ok. Maybe I got too excited seeing The Velvet Underground, because they're a beloved band to many, but this album was just kinda boring to me. The songs were kinda boring, and those that weren't boring were weird sounding, which is just as bad. Overall, not my taste. 1.5/5 Favorite song: Pale Blue Eyes Worst song: The Murder Mystery
This album is decent, each song has parts of it I like and parts I don't like, so they even each other out. Alice Cooper's voice is unique, both in a good way and a bad way depending on the song. The guitars and backing music I felt were the most consistent part of the album and were always good, but didn't carry most songs. 2.5/5 Favorite song: No More Mr. Nice Guy Worst song: Sick Things
