Extremely biased, but this holds up.

Yes, this album has been relentlessly flogged on the radio waves over the last 40 years and yes, there is a lot of Water’s fart sniffing going on, but hey, if it smells like roses why not sniff it?

I really enjoyed this one. Some of the tracks ran just a bit too long, but overall this is a fun album. I’d put it it right at 3.5 stars.

Although I prefer their earlier, unpolished punk sound this is good.

I like Randy. I fell into a couple tickets for an opera house show of his and he’s the penultimate showman. Rednecks and Guilty are solid tracks. This is the second album cover so far with an out of focus picture. Was this a thing?

I adore the sound of analogue synthesizers. Two stars out the gate on that alone. Beyond that it felt like Kirkland Depeche Mode. One more for effort, Boys.

Iconic. The rhymes are dated but Dre, Ren and some of Ice Cube’s hold up. Eazy is Eazy. Love it

There were most certainly better albums coming out in ‘76 but this still holds up as classic Americana. This in spite of the cover art. Looks like something a 13yo boy of the era would conceive with an album cover generator. “Holy shit, a bandolier! Hell yeah!”
