What's That Noise?
Coldcutwtf did i just listen to... this was just a complete nothing of an album. UHHHH 5.7/10
wtf did i just listen to... this was just a complete nothing of an album. UHHHH 5.7/10
Rolling Stones are kind of overrated :/. Every song sounds like a meme version of themselves. "Under My Thumb" was pretty great, but I feel like it would be a way better song if they took more risks on it, but nah, on the B section they go back to the usual meme blues shit. "Going Home" is probably the worst song on the album. Why is this 11 minutes :,(...
I've already heard this album before, and I absolutely love it! One of the best albums to come from Brazil ever!
This is a very well crafted album with amazing songwriting and great instrumentation! I really dig a lot of the songs here on both a compositional and lyrical level. Bravo Bobby
fuck lynyrd skynyrd. free bird is great though. just a standard butt rock album (mississippi kid is ass)
Very dated, but some nice jammy soft rock songs! Very atmospheric too which is was nice. If not for the slur in Money for Nothing that song would be like a 5/5 classic
this is so swaos me when i'm an 80s hiphop band the samples and instrumentals are good the trio have great chemistry flows are dated, but in a fun way :3 Probably my favorite Beastie Boys album just from the unique instrumentals.
Album had one great song, a couple good ones, and the rest were alright. The best song was "Message in a Bottle" and the worst was "On Another Day" Pretty good rock album.
WU TANG WU TANG WU TANG WU TANG
Very noisy and industrial with its version of new wave. Almost like a proto-no wave album! Im very digging it
Literally going to shit and piss and cry from this experience. :,{ The album maintains a level of very intense melancholy despite the limited instrumentations which i find very admirable!
Very amazing goth rock album :3 Very eccentric and creative. Love the saxophone on this album it's also quite catchy too
This is a decent hard rock. I like how some of the songs flow into each other. The album is kinda one note the whole time, but it was a enjoyable one note. Do I think this deserves a spot on this list... not really... La Grange was actually great though!!
This is a very consistent throw back album! Very song is at least good and a few are drop dead perfect! The only thing holding this back is I wish that Jagger had more of a presence on this album either with his lyrics or with just a more emotive voice. Like if he was yelling more or just sounded a bit less despondent that would easily take this to maybe a 5! Also, \"I Just Want to See His Face\" is so fucking underrated!! Why don't people love that song :(
this album is so fucking beautiful OMG idk if i love this more than Pink Moon but they're around the same tier of amazing for me!!! Nick Drake's singing, lyrics, and guitar playing skills are on complete full display on this album! I really love the lush instrumentals too and I think they add a lot to Nick Drake's style, and it's a great contrast from Pink Moon in that regard!
This is a beautifully produced album. This is THE album about a hedonistic lifestyle. Everything about this album adds to that story: the loud, bombastic, lavishly produced production, the braggy sexual living the high life lyrics, and the energy in general. The only thing I didn't care for on this album were the songs: "So Appalled" and "The Blame Game". I don't like the stand up feature in the latter at all. However, other than that the album is amazing and near perfect!!
I do love me some Gorillaz but man this album feels like a debut. It does have a slight charm, but I think the immaturity doesn't really fit the album too well. I do love 5/4, Clint Eastwood, and 19-2000. Most of the other songs just feel kinda bland; like they just simply exist.
rapman rap good! His lyrics are all very interesting even if he's rapping about the usual gansta rap stuff! His flows are probably the best part of this album!
This was an extremely fun album with amazing traditional Irish instrumentation. The vocals were very fun and I loved the political lyrics of resistance. FUCK ENGLAND IRELAND FOREVER!!
Prince is just like me fr (or at least I like to pretend). The true definition of a short king through and through! This album is straight up banger, banger, banger, banger! Some all time best songs ever made here even if some of the production is 80s-like.
This album has some wicked ass solos, but the songwriting is not that stellar. A lot of the songs are kind of forgettable as a complete song. I do overall dig the solos and vibe though. THAT INTRO THOUGH HAHAHA
This is such a beautifully made album through and through! Al Green has such a soulful voice and his lyrics are beautiful! The instrumentals here are also oh so groovy and well crafted :0
Jazz lounge by a guy who sounds like he breathes in cigarette smoke 24/7! What more could you ask for in an album! The intros are usually too long, but I do love Wait's lyricism and his voice is so interesting to listen to. Even though it's very rough, you just want to hear what this guy has to say, and you fucking believe it too even though each story is about a different unrelated thing.
This album is so beautifully made with infectious grooves! The lyrics here are all amazing too about drugs and drug addiction! Curtis Mayfield's voice is also very heavenly here.
I'm not the biggest fan of metal in general, but I did kinda dig this album. I like the switch up that would happen in each song it kept it kinda intriguing throughout and it kept my interest. Nothing more than that however. Cool riffage though tbh
I've heard this album before, but damn is this amazing!! The songs I thought were kinda weak beforehand have grown on me so much since the last time I've heard it! Every song here has so much depth and passion. There's so much to uncover here and although it's almost 2 hours long, it never fails to keep my attention. Although I've given 5/5s before this album is perfect or the closest thing to it.
Was not expecting an album like this to be on the list, but I'm very glad it is! This is quite a good jazz fusion album with some great piano work! Every song has a great vibe to it however they often lack a certain quality that would make them great songs in general. Either with solos that are too long and lacking in substances or with melodies that aren't really super memorable. However there are some key songs in this album that gave me a lasting impression. Overall very very good especially considering this is 70 mintues long.
From the first song I thought this was gonna be something special, but nah. Mid song after mid ass song. At least this was only 30 minutes :/
This is quite enjoyable (I do love Bowie), but the production does feel like it's playing it safe most of the time.
This is like discount Iceage without the hooks or the interesting guitar riffs. Average noisy indie rock band makes an average noisy indie rock album. Nothing much else to say here. (These songs feel way too long)
Although this album was kind of long I found it to be very enjoyable all the way through! There were a few stinkers but I think the great songs more than make up for it! Overall: 8.0/10 (That prog intro song is so amazing)
I did pretty much enjoy this album quite a bit, but I'm a little upset that they have this album, but not Discovery :(. This album does fall off a bit after Around the World in my opinion, but it's pretty good. (I found the acid synths in the latter half to be way too loudly mixed and annoying).
why is this on the list :/ why is this on the list, but not Discovery. 6.3/10
The songs on this album are very short and I think it limits the impression the album could have because of that. It's cool 70s pop rock though. 7.0/10
cock rock the album (Eruption is cool though) 5.6/10
this is really corny. the vocals are very flat for the most part, but the beats make up for it kinda idk. The lyrics are pretty cool too. 7.1/10
this was a very neato album urrm. nothing too special about it, but i enjoyed listening
a nice lil folk pop album with great harmonies. it was fun. i had fun listening to this.
fairly nice country album. Had a nice time listening to it. 6.8/10
very fun very silly lil album. syd could write dark side of the moon, but roger waters could NOT WRITE BIKE. 7.6/10
Everytime I listen to this album, I get more out of it. The first time I thought it was ok, but I didn't get the hype. Now after like a billion listens throughout many years I get the hype. This album has so much atmosphere and the solos are so memorable. Everytime the mode changes in the pieces, I can feel a very distinct vibe shift and it feels like I'm seeing new colors. This album sounds very blue and green to me. Like a deep blue. Like the so black its blue kind. Like you're walking down the street in the dead of night kind of so black its blue. Call me a yapper idc. This album is great. 9.8/10
this is quite pleasant. t swizzle knows how to make a folk pop album. very POP imo, but it's very well produced. (It's like a discount big thief though): 7.3/10 ALSO LIKE IM SO SURPRISED THERES LIKE A SOMEWHAT EXPERIMENTAL SONG ON THIS ALBUM LIKE WTF???? WHAT THE FUCK IS A SONG LIKE CLOSURE DOING HERE???? ITS REALLY GREAT, BUT STILL...
This is a very fun album. My only complaint is that the mix sounds way too fucking compressed and overblown. (Maybe that's because of the remaster on Spotify, but still). I really love the energy and the creativeness. RIP Freddy! tbh, I'd say try to listen to the original mix of this. Like fr. I almost never complain about mixing, but this is just like... way too much compression. Nevertheless: 8.0/10 Bohemian Rhapsody is a 10/10 song (i think imma start listing songs on the album i think are perfect)
so much grit and gruff esp for 1965. Very fun!! 7.4/10
A very very very beautiful album!! quite a bit of hidden gems (like the brazilian samba song omg) Stevie Wonder the multilingual!! 8.2/10
i do enjoy those big beats BOOM BOOM CHHHH: 8.8/10
this is what haters of psych folk think what psych folk sounds like. These experiments sound kind of lazy and not really well thought out :/ uhhh 6.0/10
THIS ALBUM IS GREAT OMG AHHHHH 9.0/10
my favorite radiohead :3
solo album by the song from Pixies! This was very very good! 8.0/10
This is fairly good I think. Nice Psych rock: 7.3/10
I really like the atmospheric vibes on this album. I think it makes it stand out quite a bit as an indie rock album. It gives me like 80s vibes but with that dream pop tinge. The songwriting doesn't really captivate me as much as I wished though. Rating: 7.9/10
This is a great and amazing album! An amazing statement on the music industry and a beautiful love letter to Pink's former member Syd. RIP Syd. Shine on You Crazy Diamond: 9.3/10
This is pretty mid :/ 6.2/10
Probably the best solo Beatles album tbh... Band on the Run is a classic song. I really love the progressive pop on this album so much. Maybe I'm just a slut for creative and out-there pop music (maybe also why i like hyperpop so much LMAO) 8.2/10
i like this one :3: 7.8/10
very well made folk rock album! I like the songs on here with some really stellar stand outs: 7.8/10
amazing new wave with celctic influence! This album is very fun and creative all the way through. Come On Eileen is a perfect song through and through. 8.4/10
let's get together and feel alright :0 beautiful album Rating: 8.1/10
way too long and pretentious rating: 6.7/10

very stellar album from Talking Heads. glad to see this thing give actual classics. 8.3/10
this might be my favorite Rolling Stones album. This is better than Exiled on Main Street. It's very consistent. Very raunchy and sexual. uhhhh 8.4/10
probably the best beatles album. would be perfect if it didn't have yellow submarine though: 9.4/10
first metal album.... is pretty great. there's a lot more funk here than i expected lol 8.2/10
this started out fairly good but kind of just fell off like after the 4th song. 6.5/10

very stellar album from the 60s. i love the renditions of Christmas classics. 7.9/10
very great glam rock album with amazing songs and instrumentals. gave me bob dylan and david bowie vibes. 7.7/10
very nice alt rock/noise rock. sometimes the songs kind of meander, but overall it's very great with some stand out songs with very interesting instrumentation. 8.0/10
very great baroque album with some great lyrics and lush isntrumentals, i can kind hear his later years in this album which is weird. 7.7/10
