It's so interesting picking out where different artists I love got some of their influence from. Some tracks off this are timeless, and had I not known of TVU, might have trouble guessing when it was from. I love the quiet tracks "Sunday Morning" and "Femme Fatale", Nico's voice sounds like she could be a late 2010s bedroom pop artist lol

Favorites: Cry Baby, Mercedes Benz (Though I kept waiting for instruments to come in on it) It was alright, not the biggest fan of her voice tbh. I liked the message of some of the songs though.

Favorites: Once I Was, Pleasant Street A decent folksy album, I liked it more than Happy Sad. Tim has crazy range, he can sound completely different on each song and I even had to check that it was the same guy lol.

Heard Don't Know Why and kinda expected the whole album to be that good lol. The rest of it is fine and good for a relaxing morning, but didn't hit the same unfortunately.

Favorite: Good Grief I either hate 90s grunge (Alice in chains, soundgarden), or love it (Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins). Very enjoyable rock album. 3.5 Stars

Favorite Song: Pursuance Such a great jazz album with super impressive drum and sax solos. I love jazz, but for me it usually fades to background music. This had my full attention for its entire runtime! [4 Stars]

Favorites: Tonight Tonight, Bullet With Butterfly Wings, Cupid De Locke Fantastic album, was really great to revisit it and listen to some songs I haven't in a while. My favorite parts are the orchestral sections, especially with songs like Tonight, Tonight [4 Stars]

Favorite: No Woman No Cry Never have been a huge reggae fan unfortunately. I did really like the guitar on No Woman No Cry. It felt a little yacht rocky and gave me Steely Dan vibes. Can definitely see the vision for this album, just isn't my thing. [2.5 Stars]

Favorite Songs: The Age Of The Understatement, Standing Next To Me, I Don't Like You Anymore Pretty good! I love Arctic Monkeys, and this felt like that with a bit more twang. I will say I prefer the Arctic Monkeys albums from around this time period, but it was interesting to see this side of Alex Turner. [3.5 Stars]

Favorite: Tarkus Really interesting prog electronic album. It kinda went all over the place, one minute being full electronic, next full rock. Overall, really cool and interesting though! [3 Stars]

Favorites: Today, Hummer, Disarm (Album Favorite), Luna Great album, though I think I like Melon Collie a little more. Disarm is such a great song, gives me tonight, tonight vibes. [4 Stars]
