I feel like I'm the type of person that should like the Pixies and was expecting to love the album, but it was only alright. Enjoyed it enough that I didn't feel like skipping any songs.
A fun album through and through. I have no real reason not to give this 5-stars, other than it doesn't FEEL like a 5-star masterpiece. Just good music. The bonus tracks are a bit annoying - I wish they would just make them their own tracks.
I'm sure this music takes soo much skill to create, and maybe accompanied by dance or as part of a live performance I'd give it its proper appreciation. Unfortunately just listening to it didn't give me any enjoyment.
Sleepy but pretty
Not my type of music.
Great but dated.
Some bangers but one tone and dated
Not my style
Master of Puppets is a great song but I was dissapointed in the rest of the album. It all felt a bit flat.
The interludes have gotten old, but musically there is not a single miss on this album.
Not for me. Couldn't wait for it to be over.
One of the best albums of all time and still not Radioheads best. So many great songs.
Surprisingly still very good. Very 80s without feeling too dated. Enjoyed some of the lesser known songs the best.
Very nostalgic with a few real bangers. Surprisingly close to 5 stars.

This is so different than anything I listen to normally, and still it was thoroghly enjoyable. The little intro was a neat way to get into the experience.
I'm generally not a big fan of this genre. I will say Thin Lizzy has a few more songs with melodies I enjoy than the average 70s rocker. Southbound and Dancing in the Moonlight are enjoyable songs that I like a lot. Still, I was happy when the album, making it hard to give it more than a strong 2.
I knew PJ was a great singer/songwriter, but have never sat down to listen before. I was really impressed with all the instrumentals and the varierty in the music, while still remaining very listenable. Great album. I will listen more to PJ in the future.
Jazz is not my go-to music, but this album was really good. I felt lulled into a different time. Great background music for focusing or haning out, although sometimes I did feel a bit startled by the actual clapping. A great album for a chill, nostalgic time.
Although my score isn't amazing I will say listening to this album changed my perspective on Jamiroquai. I always through of them as a poppy band that had some catchy, but rather lame, hits. Now I realize they are much more soulful than I thought, with some truly amazing instrumentals and a lot of inspiration from Stevie Wonder. Still, I am not a huge fan of the singing and was happier with the jazzier songs. A fun experience, but not an album I will revisit.
Very Beatles-y.
There's nothing wrong with this album, but this type of music just does not appeal to me. The singing is grating and the music sounds the same song after song. I don't blame people who get hyped by this, but I just don't get it.
One of the best things about doing an album a day is that it makes me listen to more Jazz, especially chill, pianobased Jazz like this. What a delight to listen to. Made me feel both classy and at ease.
I really wanted to like this album but it never touched me emotionally and at times it just dissappeared into the background. It was never BAD though.
This was probably the hardest album to rate so far. It was weird and hard to get a grip on, but once it clicked (on second listen) I think I might really love this. I had never heard of Bauhaus before, but now I'm intrigued.
A fun album through and through. I have no real reason not to give this 5-stars, other than it doesn't FEEL like a 5-star masterpiece. Just good music. The bonus tracks are a bit annoying - I wish they would just make them their own tracks.
You can't help to sway with this music. It's quintessential Stevie, and Stevie is just so good.
I haven't been more excited by an assigned album than when I saw I got Blur by Blur. I love the Gorillaz and listened to Blur's 13 a ton when I was a kid, but other than Song 2 and Beetlebum I didn't know this album very well. It was definitely a nostalgic delight. I know Song 2 is a bit of a parody, but it still slaps, and the rest of the songs where all the excellent britpoppy "fun" that we know Blur for. Will listen again.
While some of the more melodic parts did appeal to me, I find this music too noisy overall.
CCR is such a big name I really felt like I should've known what to expect, but I really didn't know this band well. The music was much more traditional 60s/70s rock than I thought, and I guess that's just not my favorite genre. Although the whole album was fine, with a few songs I really quite liked (*Lookin out my back door* and *Who'll stop the rain*), it was a surprisingly long 42 minutes and 38 seconds, especially with a start of a 7 minute song. I guess not all songs can be Bad Moon Rising.
Even though I didn't listen to Elliot Smith when he was alive this album immediately made me nostalgic for the 90s (although I know it came out in 2000). A genius that I look forward to hearing more form.
Doing an album a day has really solidified how this is not my type of music. I sigh every time I get a hard rock band.
My mom was a big Elvis fan growing up and I think that's pretty cool. There was some groovy music on this album, but none of the big bangers (except Fever which there are better versions of) and none that I will put on to listen to again.
This album is a mix of highs and lows for me. I don't love Eminems goofier rap style like in The Real Slim Shady but can't deny it's catchy af. Stan was a favorite of mine back in the early 2000s but I just think it feels a bit old and not as deep as it felt back then. That said, I do appreciate the darker style of The Way I Am and I'm Back (I'm a sucker for the bell soundeffect in The Way I Am, it flows so well). In total this is not an album I would put on and listen to in it's entirety, especially since the interludes really ruins the pace, but I can't deny it's a classic with some real bangers.
Despite knowing this is a stone cold classic I had quite low expectations. 5+ minute songs scare me and I thought it was one of those albums that was a bit too experimental to actually be enjoyable. Actually listening to the album showed me at least partially wrong. The songs did sometime overstay their welcome, but they were fun/pleasant listens. Maybe with some relistens this would rise to the 4 or 5 stars it may actually deserve. I Talk to The Wind was a my personal favorite song and will probably get the most reslistens for now.
Pleasant but too close to elevator music. Obviously the actual theme song is great though.
Some of the songs where kinda fun, but it's not something I would ever choose to listen to.
Nostalgic with some pleasant summer vibes. Good News Comin' was a real banger.
Really nice melodic rock with lots of great instrumentation. Found myself nodding my head along with the rythms. Really liked some of the guitarr riffs. High 3.
I loved *You've Come a Long Way, Baby* in my teens, but have not really listened to anything else by Fatboy Slim before. Was fun to broaden my horizons, but didn't find any *Praise You* on this album.
Wow, this was an unexpected album to show on the list. Learnt some history and listened to some interesting songs, but ultimately this is not something I enjoyed.
It sounds like the type of 90's music that I loved (and still do) but somehow this didn't quite hit the spot.
Literally my favorite album of all time. Every song is a 5/5 and they are even better together.
Impressive musicians and I really enjoyed some of the more relaxing parts of the longer songs, but that's not the main sound of this album.
Wow - that was unexpected. I had not heard of Bad Brains before and now I am very glad I have. Some of the songs were a bit too heavy metal for my taste, but otherwise it was great, impressive music.
A very groovy album. Some songs felt a bit to much like a 1981 movie soundtrack, especially the more saxophone-heavy tracks, but other songs were real bangers.
What a beatiful voice and beautiful album too. *Suzanne* and *Hey, That's no way to say goodbye* were already favorites and the whole album is in that same pleasant tone. The reason only reason that this album didn't get a 5-star rating form me is it can get a bit too sleepy for my taste.
It's the Beatles so it's great, but it's not my favorite of theirs.
I used to live right by the Apollo so this was a special treat and took me back to a different time. Not something I would listen to again, but a fun experience.
