The well-known hits still hit, but Sabbath crawled so other bands could run. Also, Iron Man kinda sucks.

Side A is undeniably a stone cold classic.

Great musicianship. Songs not so much.

Lacks energy in the recording. Maybe would be more fun with different production? This album should sound a lot better than it does.

Second half is surprisingly much better than the first and it really grew on me. ACDC comparisons make sense but Slade shows an ability to diversify their sound more.

Jazz is really hard to rate but this is very good
