Part of the sound track to our lazy Saturdays . Great album I listened to it twice today.
What a great album listened to it 4 times today.
A genre defining album! I was never into the early metal but this album is solid start to finish.
RIP Chris. One of my favorite bands. Great album
Great band and album. Fake plastic tree one of my favorite songs!
Great album. Karma police is one of my all time favorites
I love me some 80s-90’s west coast garage/punk/rock. Great live in the early 90’s
Pre-teen me was in awe! Now it’s been years and nostalgia it rocks and is a bit cringe
Great album amazing live!
English punk
Great ZZ Top!
I really like the pre 80’s country. Waylon is one of the greats.
Love I’ve seen all good people but album was before my time and no connection to it
I appreciate the dead just not big into folk jam band.
One of my favorites albums. Lots of memories of the 90s Arizona state fair $5 GA show
Good at a rave in the 90’s.
Big hits and dirty south jam sessions all in one album. Honestly I never listened to the album so hits are great but the album falls short 54 years later
Not sure what that was but it’s not for me.
Big in Australia! Great album from iconic band.
Part of the sound track to our lazy Saturdays . Great album I listened to it twice today.
One of my favorite albums top 20 for me
On a lazy Saturday morning I really appreciate this album. Liked it more than I expected
Classic Neil Young.
RIP DB. Not my favorite but still Bowie.
Couple good hits and a decent 90s folk album
I found that to be boring and lacking inspiration of any kind.
Aww Debbie Harry! Classic with hits and a few hidden gems.
Folk rock legend. Another album from the 70s with a few hits a few decent songs and filler that is easy to listen to.
Late 80’s early 90’s punk/garage rock hits just right! My favorite genre. Songs about nothing and everything
Worst part of Radiohead?
Not my favorite genre. I’d rather listen to Lords of Acid if I’m in an electronic mood. It is an important album to the sound of the late 90’s
Another great 60’s album. Somebody’s watching you a 60’s song about consumerism?
I can always listen to an Elvis album. Post Army Elvis polished and more pop still a legend.
I expected a one hit wonder and got a very solid album. Little over an hour a bit long but far better than I expected.
Good musicians with an interesting style.
Solsbury hill is a classic. First solo album he went deep into experimental and it just felt like the album was all over the place
Good musicians not my style.
Good Dolly album.
SMooooth! 90’s R&B/Soul so good. Great album.
The Edge is a great guitarist to bad he is in U2. Worse than I remember.
Early 80’ music and art! Great album
Meh ok just ok
There has to a more influential album than that.
Talented but not my style
I'm sick and tired of hearing things From uptight, short-sighted, narrow-minded hypocritics All I want is the truth Just gimme some truth Ive had enough of reading things By neurotic, psychotic, pig-headed politicians All I want is the truth Just gimme some truth
Few songs that feel fillerish otherwise its the Depeche Mode I remember and love
First time listening and they are the sound of the 70’s good album.
Good album
Great album you’re the best
Love listening to Elvis Costello. This album was the sound of the 80’s before the 80’s arrived. So good.
I couldn’t listen to an entire song. I found it boring. I now get why 17m was cut to 3m for the USA market. They are influential so that adds a star.
It’s all familiar yet I don’t think I’ve ever heard it before.
One of my favorite albums front to back great!
I question this entire list!
Good musicians not my style
It used to be the only album of theirs that I liked. It’s just ok in retrospect way too over used in sports and advertising
I’m not sure what he was referring to. Lost in time
I like nick cave but never heard that album. Good stuff
He has all the ingredients unfortunately I only found a few song I liked.
One of my favorites
Great album RIP Sinead
Interesting group and album. I’ll have to give it a second listening.
Good album made for arenas.
Da funk was such a huge hit and pushed electronic music farther into mainstream
Great album
Rave/club it’s great, for everyday listening it’s not my style
It a fan very boring
Don’t recall her apologizing for all the racism. I also don’t care for her music
A favorite from the 90’s
The stone roses definitely influenced some great bands including two with a bitter rivalry. Oasis vs Blur!
Pop blues/country is my least favorite genre
One of my favorite albums
Epic was played to death when it was released and I never really listen to the album but I wish I had it cause it’s good.
Good album always enjoy listening to butthole surfers
Good album
A favorite album by a favorite band. Take
It feels like this band could’ve been so much more instead it’s boring in every way
Great music
Always love listening to the Beatles
Inoffensive background music
Always enjoy a mudhoney album
Absolute favorite from childhood.
I tried I’m just not a fan
Kinda boring
A favorite album
Great band I struggle to follow them on all of the journeys this isn’t a favorite
Top band and A favorite album. Have seen NIN a few times in the 90s. His influence is huge!
One of the greats
Fun album
What a great album listened to it 4 times today.
Music from the 90s it’s good
Did Eminem and Dre just make a list of offensive words and themes then see how many of them they could use on one album? Worth it!
Great album so nostalgic of the early mid 80s
This album is ok but the hits oh they are off the chart good. Breakdown and American Girl are just great.
What are my top favorite albums in absolute classic. Grunge before grunge was a genre.
Definitely influential. As soon as I started listening, it was the 80s couldn’t believe this album was 70s.
Absolute fantastic album. I remember Lauryn Hill having an amazing voice and listening to the album again reminding me what a great group they are as a whole
Classic Neil young
The transition album, I definitely like the albums before it better but you get old and you can’t play hard anymore so you make an album like this show. You can still play hard but you’re slowing down. Metallica was never my favorite band, but they’re good. I saw the tour for this album they put on an impressive show.
Just ok
Dave Grohls solo album. The best foo album and closest to punk/grunge while being able to understand the lyrics. Forgot how good it was.
Steely “ don’t call it yacht rock” Dan. That easy listening.
Love 70s punk. Great band and album
Can definitely hear the influence they had on later bands this band I’m not so big into
I forgot what an interesting album this was. A punk rock, opera, in the midst of one of what was believed the worst presidents of our time.
Oh Mariah! Crush!
Cream, a supergroup, probably the first super group of modern music. Couple of hits and an album lacking cohesive sound. Even super groups need one over powering personality that drives everything. I don’t think Cream had that. Hits sure, good album no.
Nice listen
Distortion just how I like it!
I always thought his albums were nothing but hits. Kind of surprised me listening to the album. The hits are truly amazing but the album is just ok.
I’ve never heard of this band before, but I could clearly hear the influence from the prior bands and the influence that they made on bands.
Pre 1989 country music! Great sound and album
Pre 1989 country music! Great sound and album
I have never listened to an EOL album only the hits on the radio. What a great album!
Some deep lyrics that i didnt picked up on in the 80’s.
Good album. Little experimental but overall solid
Amazing voice SZA incorporating lots of different genre and it worked. Great album
A genre defining album! I was never into the early metal but this album is solid start to finish.
Scooby snacks! Forgot about that song. I always thought bloodhound gang sang it.
Beautiful, smooth voice some really nice rhythms. It’s a great album from the 80s.
I have heard of T-Rex didn’t recall the sound. Album was OK and the two hits were good.
Pouty, throaty, pixie, wispy inspirational pop. My least favorite genre. I could live 1001 years and be content never hearing this album again.
Good album and the influence on Florence + the machine is noticed.
Lemmy, Phil, and Mikkey! One of my favorite bands. Hard driving power trio.
Such a great sound that influenced the 80’s.
Couldn’t get past the first song. I’m OK with a long song but opening with 15 minute plus meandering song it was too much.
Mediocre mid 90s
Classic!
The Bowie Soul album. So much saxophone
NWAs stoned and fun cousin!
Great music from the early 80”s and this album is great! Track one guitar intro is so iconic you hit play and just grin.
Ah NuMetal the bands that influenced the genre were good. The bands that are NuMetal ARE NOOOOOTTTTTT “in my best NuMetal voice” … I Tried and it’s just not good at all.
A great album from the 70s
Easy to listen to.
Always forget what a great voice she has and I’ve never listened to the album, but that one was pretty good
Absolute classic and so important to rock ‘n’ roll. It is hard to separate the man from the music and from pedophile to the stories of abuse left a trail of ex-wives dead and alive.
Fun early 80’s album
