Unknown album for me, but it was a good listen. No real outstanding tracks, but I liked the overall feel of the album. Not sure if I will go back to it.
Instrumentals that keep you engaged and keep suprising. Organ Doner as a stand-out track, among others. Good album, definitely coming back to it.
Good early rock album, with some nice blues influences. Besides the major hit, I don't think I'll come back to this album.
Outstanding first song, the other ones are nice.
What a voice. Very good album, I like the more mature sound.
Nice album, not the best Neil Young I have heard
Beautiful album with a lot of outstanding songs. For me, one of the most recognizable voices.
Experimental and fun listen. Nice to know where the Slim Shady line came from, but does not have a lot of replay value.
Didn't know this band, but there sure are some metal anthems on this album!
Good songwriting and nice songs. No real outliers for me.
I knew the hits, but songs like Voodoo Chile are just wow. Listening to this album in full made me appreciatie him much more.
Suprising listening, I liked the different influences of western and eastern music styles and the up tempo drums in some of the songs. As a whole, not I project I will return to.
No idea what I was listening to
Had this album on repeat when it was released. Over 10 years later and I put it on repeat again. The production on this album is so diverse and fresh, always gets me hyped.
For me not the best Kanye album (I like the old kanye...). But still nothing less than a full hit: 5/5.
A lot of energy in the beginning, which was fun. But then it is a bit more nice and mellow, with the bangers making it a very good ending.
Nice songs, nice album. Could listen to this any day. Only a little more variation would be better
Awesome instrumentals: great baselines, synths and some physicadellic touches to make it different. I do sometimes wish that this was a instrumental album, the vocals were a bit to much at sometimes.
Chill and nice album. You can listen to it five times in a row with realising it, no real outstanding lyrics or instrumentals, but good album overall.
Awesome coverart. Fun Psychadelic Rock, but no real outstanding songs.
The voice, guitar and harmonica just match. Great songs from a great artist. Although I prefer later works for more diversity.
New wave!!! Cool sound overall in the album, not a lot of replay value for me. But keep these sounds coming!
No idea what it is about, but awesome sounds. Want to learn more about A História De Jorge.
Fleetwood Mac gotta be good. Tried not let Sara en Tusk lead my review, and they didn’t..
What makes you thinks you're the one! I know I am not Wrong! Bangers.
I was suprised by Patti. Very intense songs, but some worked very well. Favorites are Gloria: and Horses:
Got more rhymes than Jamaica got mango's! Sample masterclass with Beastie Boys synergie.
Lots of different and fun sounds, but not my thing.
First Neil Young album in the list, probably not the last. You can hate it or love it, but I love it. Keep them coming!
Loved the beginning tracks of the album, with A Trick Of The Light as a highlight.
Left the door open, closed mine for this album tho. Sounds like a church song? Still some nice mellow songs later in the album.
Awesome Jazz, the piano skills are crazy.
Me and Juliooooooo, absolute banger. A few more highlights during the album, it loses my interest a bit in the end.
Poor leno..... What a jam, love those cowbells. This album has a lot of different sounds, but all very relaxed. Melody A.M. is the perfect name.
Cool concept, impossible to listen to. Liked some of the trumpet songs tho.
Listened to a 1hour+ Irish Punk album without it getting anoying. That's a win for the Pogues, but they didn't win me over.
Love how the "later Stevie sound" kicks in in this album. With Superstition as absolute banger. the other songs did not really grab me.
Sounds amazing for a live album! Good songs with a nice flow.
Less hits, but a very well constructed album. Can listen to it over and over again.
Besides Freedom! there are lots of other highlights on this album. Not just slow songs, they got some funk. Highlights are Waiting for that day & Heal the pain.
5/5
What a groove. Besides the classics That Lady and Summer Breeze, each track had their own feel and addition to this album.
Yes Massive Attack! Smooth and intreging, dark and fun. Protection is one of my favorite Massive Attack songs. The whole album is a great vibe.
Feels like film music, but then in an indie style. Cool, but not a lot of replay value for me.
Unfortunately, the songs are still relevant today... Give a little Respect!
Fine pop-rock songs, didn't grasp my attention tho.
Full of hits, the three tracks that I didn't know also smash. Easy 5/5
This album gives me positive vibes and takes jazz to another world. Added this to my library
Very relaxed listen, but gets anoyning after a 2nd or 3rd listen.
Only knew everyday people from this album and mostly the funky songs of Sly. This album suprised me, this band has a lot more to offer!
Probably a very influential album, but not for me. Liked the Old Dixie song tho.
I like the Lenny Kraviz sound, this album did not really grab me tho.
Smooth songs. Fun album and the mobb deep sample was unexpected, but cool. Didn't save anything to my library tho.
Fun album, with reaggae influences. Some highlights are Even After All, Your Love Gets Sweeter, Ride On and Turn The People on. At the end of the album it gets a bit boring.
Air guitar guaranteed. Run to the Hills and Invaders are the highlights for me.
Iconic band, with an iconic voice. Highlights: Highway to hell & Shot Down in Flames.
The Ghostface Killahhhhhhhhhhh. Did not expect to find this album on the list, but production on this is awesome.
Mostly Yes, sometimes boring. But mostly yes.
The intro of the title song starts a groove that doesn't stop, just an awesome album.
One way or another and heart of glass (especially) are major hits. The rest of the album was a fun listen as well, where picture this was my favorite. Saved some songs and going to spin it again.
Willie Nelson, I can imagine why people like this. But not for me.
Supporter of world music on this list, but this did not do it for me. Olel had some fun vibes tho.
This album was quite a Journey. It started with a banger, after that there was a lot of "what am I listening to". Mona and Who Do You Love are definitely the highlights.
Cool simplistic rock that catches your ear. There is definitely more to the band than just 7 nation army. Highlights Hotel Yorba and Fell In Love With a Girl.
Black Sabbath has an awesome and mysterious sound. N.I.B. is my favorite of the album, great guitar riff and solo.
Never knew such an album/genre existed. Interesting, but not my thing. Stagger lee was fun and I liked the Nick Cave Kylie Minogue combination.
I love the sound of Joy Division, especially the drums. I did not fully listen to this album before, but this also full of bangers.
I am always quite ambivilant regarding christmas songs.
Self Esteem is an easy a favorite on this album. That far in the album some breath was much needed. Didn't save any other songs to the collection, but it was a fun listen.
Never heard of her, but it is a lovely album. Shadowboxer is my favorite, also like The Child is Gone.
Three fun opening songs and i like the folk sound. The album just didn't stick with me tho.
Very theatrical. Not my thing.
Didn't knew I knew this. Some 90s bangers on this album and I like the vibe of the album. Especially the opening song and the first part of the album, the way of signing gets a bit anoying at the end/repeated listens.
Best hiphop album? Probably not. But it's Snoop doggy dogg!
8 songs of pure joy, with Shining star being my favorite. Not their best album, but very good.
First two songs hit hard, after that not much that caught my attention.
Cool sound journey and important for Miles' future sounds.
Big hits on a album with a new approach to pop. Great listen!
Great flow through the entire album, gave it multiple listens. No real track stood out tho, so a solid 4.
With the name T. Rex and the genre Glam rock, I didn't expect much. But it was a fun listnen with Get It On and Hot Love as my favorites.
First Album is way better than I thought it would be. No songs saved to my library tho, solid 3.
