Aladdin Sane
David BowieHonestly one of his weaker albums, iconic though it is.

A solid late 60s album, but ultimately not superior to many albums coming out in around that time. Final song is overindulgent at 17 mins, and the 5 minute drum solo was almost unbearable (although the song in it's original form is not bad) . I imagine this album is life-changing when under the influence, but only average in an everyday context.
A good album which has clearly influenced a lot of other artists ( I've noticed that Coldplay lifted large parts of the album Viva la Vida from this album). Other than Nico's slightly distracting accent, an excellent record from start to finish.
With the two big singles from this album being the main highlights in Enter Sandman and Nothing Else Matters, generally this is a high energy album and a good entry point for those listening to Metallica for the first time. Just a shame about Lars really...
Strong album both musically and lyrically the whole way through. The number of dick jokes throughout the entire album did make me wonder if Blink182 were involved in the making of it though...
A classic. Not much more to say really.
A good album, but overall not an outstanding album of covers. Hurt is the standout and most famous track, but overall perhaps a little uninspired.
Whilst I can understand the appeal of such an album to country fans, it ruined my day.
First album on this list that has made me so apathetic that I couldn't even finish the thing unfortunately.
It wasn't bad, but it all sounded like direction less noise
Honestly just mid
Honestly one of his weaker albums, iconic though it is.
One of the great modern rap albums. Ironically Poetic Justice (featuring now enemy Drake) is the weakest track.
The soundtrack to many a good Western. Can't get much better in this genre
I think Jeru the Damaja was on the committee because that's the only way this album makes this list.
So depressing, nearly caused me to drive my car off a bridge. On a technical level a good album though.
Upbeat, catchy, well made.
An album as s**t is the man who wrote it is a person.
