“White Reggae” is right.. yikes.. Message in a Bottle still slaps, but the rest is whatever (and I love Sting).

Seems it’s incomplete on Spotify so I can’t say for sure but this is super anthemic in a way that makes it hard to listen to, say, commuting. Maggot Brain is superior. (Also two Funkadelic albums on this list???)

This album is supposedly a tight 37 minutes but it felt endless. Every song after the intro sounds identical. This is supposed to be one of the best 1001 albums? I’m so upset one spot was wasted on this monotonous honky-tonk crooning.

This is probably a great album.

It’s 15 minutes long and some of the lyrics are incredible. I wanted to skip it as soon as the first song started but I’m glad I gave this a listen. Punk’s fun.
