chaotic but also not that interesting
I enjoyed this! Unsure if this score is too harsh but i think a 3 is pretty good so eh
Had some clunky lyrics and could be a bit on the nose and repetitive at times for my taste but also some great moments
Great voice, ultimately a covers album with not loads going on
I enjoyed this and rating is hard, my indecisiveness prefers to have the option of half stars. I liked it but some repetitive choruses and not many wows for me on first few listens, will maybe revisit after Nevermind
I may be biased because this is the Beatles album I grew up on but it's just banger after banger
As a child I LOVED Eleanor Rigby and found For No One so devastating i could barely listen to it - on this listen Tomorrow Never Knows really stuck out to me. A treat!
this is horrific but at least it was entertaining
...until it went on too long and became insufferable
listening to this made me turn off recently played artists being visible on my spotify profile
Sounds nice i suppose, but a bit one-note - i feel like the album is broadly composed of continual noise with some interesting textures but it lacks some light and shade. Most of it sounds like background music that might be used in a mid film or car advert - more focused on atmosphere and vibes than musicality. It was fine, it sounded nice enough, but it bored me more as it went on.
i listened to the original version on youtube as recommended by another review, and it was a lot better than the version on spotify so i'd recommend doing that. unfortunately i still hate drum & bass and i hated this
I was surprised by how much i didn't really like this one because i do like arcade fire that ive heard previously. started off well then got a bit wishy washy and anthemic for my taste
eh fine. i don't really like his voice
cheesey and samey and unfortunately really not my thing
fun album, not as interesting as stuff to come
enjoyed this one! will revisit
not really my genre but honestly enjoyed this more than i thought i would
that said - pussycat was terrible, plz beyonce you can still go to the club with your friends even though you love your man, and if i hear 'this is a missy elliott exclusive' one more time i think i'll have a breakdown
unfortunately i'm not massively a lyrics person and musically this is very monotonous and repetitive, almost eerily so. an interesting listen as i've not listened to much traditional country music before, but i didn't particularly enjoy it - the constant harmonising made my brain feel like mush by the end
kind of fun at points, too repetitive, got sick of it as it went on
this is a journey and the sampling is crazy, i understand why people love it and why it's here but i also struggled to get through it
i'm trying to like rap & hip hop but i'm finding it hard
snappin' & trappin' one of the most horrible songs ive ever listened to but the rest of it was alright
might have rated this higher if i didn't feel a bit overwhelmed by rap lately - i can see why it's good but i just didnt really enjoy listening to it and it was looong
unfortunately this did not make me like 80s synth pop
the kind of album that feels more about the lyrics than about the music. I quite liked State Trooper, the rest of it was fairly samey and uninteresting.
