First introduced to Hugh Masekela when I saw Paul Simon’s Graceland tour in the 80s and have LPs such as Tomorrow, Techno-Bush, Waiting for the Rain and his later LP collaboration with Tony Allen. However have never heard this before and it’s brilliant. Lovely township jazz crossover and with the fantastic Dudu Pukwana too. Will be playing this a lot more.

Having been a big fan of The Cure during the Boys Don’t Cry, Seventeen Seconds, Faith era, I took sporadic interest after The Top. I enjoyed the singles and loved Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me but then Kind of ignored Disintegration. So a pleasant surprise to hear how good it sounds all these years later.

Not my cup of tea. Never been a fan of heavy metal. Didn’t get far with this.

Wouldn’t normally listen to anything like this but actually quite enjoyed it. Immaculate production
