1001 Albums Summary

Classic Curtis right here. Great album cover.

The album that got me into Bowie as a kid. Holds up perfectly.

Shit slaps.

Makes me feel like a teenager

If Frank Sinatra did drugs.

Restructured my brain. The 80’s revival makes this sound contemporary

A bit boring innit?

Bangerrr. Way better than the film itself.

This lowkey feels like elevator music.

One of my favs of all time. Being under the influence of something is a must.

Stevie was tapped into something in the 70’s idk how tf he just kept cranking out masterpieces like this album after album.

Perfect music for the subway.

Transcendent.

The story around this concert is as interesting as the album.

Cookingggggg

Not bad but I’ve always struggled with Michael Stipe’s voice and some of their production choices.

I’m digging what he’s laying down.

Classic. Makes me think of early high school.

Near perfect

People say the Beatles don’t get good until psychedelia and they are wrong.

Heat.

Near perfect. Love so much more as I get older.

Got me through my worst breakup.

Sacred in this house.

FEELING LIKE A DEAD DUCK.

Perfection. Iggy’s mix is the best version.

Some good songs but pretty forgettable overall.

People love to hate, but dude can write a song.

The only Police I like. Sad that Sting lost the sauce.

The literal GOAT. I could listen to Fela jam for hours. This record has been on my radar for awhile.

This is one of those “this really hit in high school” albums. A lot of their stuff ends up sounding the same tho.

OG buttrock.

Eh

Quite lovely.

Very shocked I enjoyed this for the most part.

One of the best albums of the era

Sleazy in a not fun way.

Biblical.

Hell naw. This shit slaps if you’re 10 years old.

The fucking power.

Not bad but quite dated.

The greatest goodbye ever.

Classic.

Some straight bangers on this. Could have been a bit shorter with the lack of dynamism but still heat. 3.5.

This shit sounds like high school for me. So good, so much nostalgia.

Not as interesting as I was expecting but not bad. Final track is the best.

Big fan of the t shirt.

Another classic

This is the first album that opened me up to Brazilian music.

The GOAT

Classic banger alert

Two talking heads in a row? Let’s go.

Fire. Really like when it gets more punky.

Goofy and fun

Mystical. Transcend language.

Thought this was fun af

The OG goated classic

Real British Shit

Perfect timing

Not really the artist’s fault, but this genre of music is like my least favorite sounding music of all time so wasn’t really great for me.

Only good shit Eric Clapton was involved with

I’ve always found these guys boring and corny.

Didn’t think I’d dig this but alas I did.

GOAT

Formative

This album changed my life in middle school. Perfect album about being a teenager.

Oh yeah.

Mr Jambo!

It was aight.

What a banger. Early Neil killing it.

Some bops, the psychedelic aesthetics seem mismatched tho

Not joking, not exaggerating, this album made me believe in God again when I first heard it. Coltrane was a prophet.

Another banger

Og angst.

Another banger

Lovely!

Helllll yeahhhh crack a cold one.

Def v theatrical and sometimes on the corn but I keep telling people Deep Purple gets heavyyyyy.

Lotta haters on this one. Def not great but isn’t terrible imo. Pretty middle of the road shit.

Overplayed but classic
