An entire album of “bitches and endo” is a lot. I appreciate the groove of the west coast sound, but the lyrics are just too much. Every single track. I did not need to hear this before I die.

Hampered by 1970 technology of recording a live album

Sounds experimental. Imagine what didn’t make the track list. Remade Horizon is a good song. Thankfully, only 41 minutes long. What am I missing?

Why not pick the album with all the bangers on it? This is not as good as Pure Heroine

So many hits on so many albums. I know this is about albums as albums, but Fleetwood Mac’s greatest hits CD is stacked top to bottom. First CD I ever bought and captures all of their music. Anyway, toss up between this and Rumours for greatest LP. But, definitely a supergroup

“It’s enough, it’s enough, it’s enough”. Yes, it is enough. Luckily only 36 minutes. I really wish there was a half star. 2 stars indicates dislike, 3 stars is “worth a listen”. I really want to give this 2 1/2 stars

I don’t get it. The first part larks tongues part 2 is good, then it wanders off into trying to figure something out for 5 minutes. Not for me

Good stuff

This is a tough one. The production is great, it’s Pharrell. But, I can’t tell if this is serious, or just a joke. “Her ass is a spaceship I want to ride”, and “like the Michelin man, she swam with such might”. You lose a star for that alone. Still, they returned to this band over several decades, maybe it was genuine.

Perfect. Iconic. Representative of the explosion of hard rock music in the early 1980’s and still the anchor of classic rock radio stations 45 years later

Holds up well 40+ years later. Lennox’s voice is singular is both range and power. Eurythmics music is instantly recognizable.

It takes a nation of millions to hold us back is a more powerful album. This one sounds a little tired, maybe the success was starting to wear on them.

The other Elvis Costello albums are better. I did like the fuzzed up bass on a couple of the peppier tracks. The construction and talent are there. But, 15 tracks is too much. Honestly, a better album would have been 8-10.

Really wish I could give this 2.5 stars. A few solid rockers, then a slightly bored Soundgarden vibe, and finishing up with some stoner rock tracks. Twisting the frequency knob on the synthesizer was cool in the early 1970’s, it’s kind of annoying now

I thought I liked Echo and the Bunnymen. I don’t.

I like Alice In Chains, and the wall of sound they can throw. But, maybe an entire album is too much grunge. A song or two absolutely punches up the playlist, and I’m ready to slay monsters. But, 57 minutes, it gets a little sludgy at times.

Thanks for this recommendation. Placing Punky’s Dilemma in front of Mrs Robinson, made me look at the two songs in a new light. That said, this is not Simon and Garfunkel’s best album.

Clap Hands is incredible. I liked Heart Attack and Vine better as an album. Some of Rain Dogs tracks felt over the top and almost cartoonish, as opposed to gritty. It was neat to learn that Downtown Train is his song. PS Album Generator, I’m good on Tom Waits albums…

The poly rhythm is neat, like James Brown or later Prince produced their album. But, other Talking Heads is better. Just give us Stop Making Sense. The generator has given me two Talking Heads records, neither has their hits

Lofi beats to help you sleep, 20 years before the genre existed.

The original sample for “Where’s your head at” earns this album a bonus star. I’ve never heard an entire Gary Numan album before. Good stuff. Holds up well 40+ years later.

Icon. Cash’s voice is instantly recognizable. Real. The man has greatest hits albums older than the Beatles. I sure hope the generator gives me as many Johnny Cash records as it does Leonard Cohen

Solid recommendation. I had never heard of Television. Very Violent Femmes vibe, but better composed music. The song Marquee Moon is fantastic, and the bridge is heavily sampled by other artists. The mix on the first few songs is a little tinny for me, but the bass becomes more pronounced in later tracks. I’m stuck between a 3 and 4. It’s a sunny day, I’ll go 4

Good stuff. But, 2 Toure’ albums out of 81 seems like an odd coincidence. I liked Savane better, Talking Timbuktu is a little repetitive at times. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great vibe for a long hike, or day of housework. But, Savane has more pep, and so Talking Timbuktu gets 3 stars compared to Savane’ 4 stars

Yes, it’s over the top. That’s the point. Bohemian Rhapsody, Rocky Horror, and Bat out of Hell. Immense, Overwrought. Meat Loaf’s only sin is big-hearted munificence. If only an editor could have “cut it down to 3:05”.

Didn’t like it. I can’t tell if they’re having a joke. And, I have to take a star because Specials is clearly better than More Specials.

Nope, don’t get it. And, I tried. Man, I really tried. Maybe you need the ballet dancers for it to make sense. Some reviewers comment on the flamenco guitar. But, they just appear and go away, the composition doesn’t pick up on anything the guitar was doing. Maybe a snare grabs it for awhile in mode D or maybe E. I really couldn’t tell when a theme was finished. In fact, the first time my ear went “now, that’s interesting”. Spotify had finished the album and started playing Peace by Ornette Coleman

Good stuff. Irish pub punk, who knew? Beware of And the band played Waltzing Matilda, I cried like a baby.

Really good recording quality for 1960. Has this been remastered and cleaned up?
