I love Phil, and it is intriguing to hear the Gold Star wall of sound brought to bear on a Chrissie album. Sleigh Ride kinda works, but no this is not good.

I regret not giving this one a spin when it was actually Christmas. There's no way I'm sitting through a Christmas album in January. Also, Roni died recently and the Ronettes have been played on repeat on the radio as a result. Bit Ronette'd out tbh.

I hate Christmas music so much. No words can describe the hate I have for every single sound associated with Christmas - jingle bells, sleigh bells, glockenspiels, the choirs. I hate it all. Just like Phil Spector hates being a decent human being.
