Born In The U.S.A.
Bruce Springsteennice, and for every idiot that reads this, born in the usa is not a mindless patriotic song. "Cover me" surprisingly nice song
nice, and for every idiot that reads this, born in the usa is not a mindless patriotic song. "Cover me" surprisingly nice song
this sounds like a nice cosy evening with raining outside and just chilling inside
Nice, I guess I like radiohead
listening on loop
didn't like it that much, felt kind of bland
spanish music idk not my style
was okay on some parts, last song smash is meh
nice chill a bit depressing
nice, and for every idiot that reads this, born in the usa is not a mindless patriotic song. "Cover me" surprisingly nice song
kind of outdated, basically the start of swing/rock&roll but not that interesting to listen to
decent i guess, easy listening
didn't like it that much, felt kind of bland
interesting
cool album need more time to listen
nice
The rest of the album is surprisingly different than the most known songs from it
its okay
not really a fan, its like a mix between early techno and house
Nice, I guess I like radiohead
ok
Cold light is okay, most is just garage rock without sounding cheap. Its okay but i don't know what makes it special. Wikipedia calls it dance mix with rock and that is a decent description. quite up tempo
Weather with you and Four seasons in one day are nice but the rest seems pretty mediocre. Okay album overal but nothing extraordinary
dontt like it
not my thing
was okay
jazz not really my thing but this is quite intersting at times and easy to listen to
i dont feel its special nor do i like it that much but its not horrible
not my jam, not bad though
generic punk not bad
An album I can fall asleep with, in a good way
i like icecube, altought some of the songs in this album come over as etremely violent
i like the album but it doesn't feel spectacular, and I've heard most of it before.
interesting, proboably should listen more before id give it a final rating
kind of outdated
i dont get jazz
I'm uncertain if after listening more i get bored of it or on the contrary will like it more
pretty nice
kinda boring
this one is cool
cool
not that interesting to me
I like that you can still here the blues and other roots in this
for the music alone im happy christmas is only 2 days a year. but its not that annoying
nice
not as fancy as pet sounds
old time jazz orchestra does well in a new vegas style game dont like it for lsitening though
listening on loop
3/4 of the album is copyrighted
shining star is nice
not my thing
hard carried by vincent and american pie though
not really my thing but kind of an insane album regardless
its not bad but i dont feel like its exceptional either
shit, its like mediocre and then at some parts it sounds like a construction crew walked into the studio, not a fan
i mean i wouldnt play it on my own but its pretty nice musically
satisfaction is kinda cool in this style
i like the style but its not that different to the other one
not my thing
holds up nicely
i mean the classics are good but didnt discover anything more
Decent
im sure the sound is unique or something but its not really that great
it sounds like the album was made 60 years before it did
doesnt have any of their hits, still great
interesting
its nice but alot of the same, spotify doesnt have it also sucks
i wouldnt say great but its listenable and decent
if angry people were put into a sound this was it but if you know killing in the name its all the same
not bad but it not my jam so i dont really care for it
interesting
not my thing
i like it altough mellon collie is to me a more interesting album because of its different facets while this one is good but more of the same
interesting style of singing and it has something special to it
has some interesting stuff not bad but there is a lot of weird shit too
sounds bland
hmm
this sounds like a nice cosy evening with raining outside and just chilling inside
african outdated but not ugly
hmmm
decent
ive got a tiger by the tail is a banger
Already knew more than a feeling but the whole album is great
nice altough london calling and guns of brixton have a completely different sound than the rest and those are my favorites
its nice but i dont think its exceptional
Decent album in line with early rolling stones
its alright but maybe not really my tasteor just not the right mood
not my style
pog and the album has more good stuff than just smoke on the water
its decent, reminds of a more dark and more rocky david bowie
second half of the album is to me better musically thematically i dont really care i guess kanye isnt the best source of information
love this
have heard to much michael jackson so be impressed by something like this
pretty good
decent, unique style
a little too slow for my taste, its jazzy and experimental
weird album, the songs are long and different so there are good parts but its hard to give each song an identity of sorts
has some iconic songs, its a shame most rap albums basically call for violence against white people
nice 60s funk/soul
tom sawyer is great but the rest is just a little bit to standard from what id like
its not meh but i wouldnt listen to it again its okay i guess
the idea of punk is kinda cool but its shit for repeat listening tbh
Not really interesting, some parts remind me of bowie
classic, wouldnt listen on my own though
not their strongest showing for me
its experimental and stuff but not really a joy to listen to
supposedly the lyrics are really good but the music is so intense it hard to actually listen to them
famous blue raincoat is nice but he went more loud in this album which for me takes away from the nice poetic flow the first album had
didnt like didnt sound interesting
nice overal, at time it can be a bit too instrumental which long lasting random noises but i think its not too bad
its alright
i like this
i mean its acdc and all but i wouldnt call it special but maybe its because ive heard it alot already
its a unique sound but im not a fan perse
doesnt have a specific nice song but the album is pretty cool overal
not really a fan, punky i guess not unpleasant just not my thhing
actually sort of like it but its a bit iffy so i guess i should check it some more it might not become more interesting
classic punk not that interesting, not shit either just that, punk
if i were more cheerful this album would be great, i have to say that the album is contained to a singular style it doesnt go much further than weaker version of 1999 and red corvette
great album many classic on 1 album
interesting album, some songs are compositions over random recordings, some are upbeat piano pieces others are just stories like it alot
It's alright but I guess the lyrics are what's making it as the music isn't too special for me and the singing is kind of mumbly
Pretty nice 60s vibes
Not sure how to feel about the more pop feel but the lyrical songs make up for it I guess
its alright not really that great imo
interesting album, quite diverse, has an eminem sample
meh, im not seeing it
honestly he mostly sounds like a drowning cheese grater but a few songs that are a little slower show that there is beauty in the music
la grange is a banger but the rest is not that memorable, probably has a better effect when played live
kinda diverse, kinda different i like it alot hard to describe what it is though
nice raw unfiltered rock, nothing more nothing less
great song, and since its basically half the album also a deecent album
This is great
Great album, more than a 2 hit wonder
i like the beastyboys sound but im not a fan of rap overal so i get bored after a while
well written rock songs
its alright but idk why its so special
altough child in time is a timeless masterpiece this album is overal of lesser quality than lets say machine head, its not bad though
2 classics the rest is just elvis songs
it doesn't sound that great, mostly just forgettable alt rock songs
misses the spice from the more electronic hits and misses the feel of a good song with content.
historically it might be good because its the first country rock album but right now its a bit dated
pretty nice
quite nice and musically not just the simple cliche reggae everyone knows
i already knew the title track and at first was let down by the rest, but after listening more the album grew on me
overal i find the album kind of boring
i like steely dan they show a nice mix of styles that you dont see anywhere else, only lacking a real 'hit'
not his strongest album in imo
lyrically its nice but rap just doesnt seem to inspire me
mostly ambient compositions quite decent but not to my taste
great
i like this alot eventhough its lyrics are a mystery
Unique intersting album but doesnt but i like it alright
great
a little punkish
fully vocal african music reminiscent of lion king esque ambiance, im sure some people find this beautiful but im not one of them
go west and can you forgive her are decent songs but the rest are just lesser variants of those. The album as a whole can be reduced to those 2 songs and it wouldnt hurt it
hard to judge, its good funky electronic music
I guess some time it was a hit but now it lacks standing out quality that differentiates it from similar albums. Its not bad music but not exceptional
not a fan of r&b but the album stands out
her voice is smooth like honey and the album as a whole has a serene peacefullness over it
altough superstition will forever be a hit, i find the album as a whole kind of boring
its alright
Requires more listening I guess, mediocre at the first go
The lyrical flow is great and works nicely with the samples and beat. But the content isn't much different than other rap albums.
the album sounds like the soundtrack of 80s hardrock, not bad nowadays but not exceptionall either
its decent and lyrically original compared to many other album from its era and more modern
decent rock album that still has traces of blues and other remarkable features
nice
a nice low pace album of good songs
classic punk
its a classic kinks album with decent but sometimes odd lyrics a variety of melodies but always the kinks sound
a good hard rock album but it misses out on having that 1 hit song that really carries it away
quite nice even if i cant understand the lyrics much nothing much like it
altough ill probably never become a beatle fan, it cannot be denied the album is quite diverse and musically interesting for a pop album.
nice
describing it as noise rock is most fitting, as vocals and melody are under constant distortion noise, i guess its a style that can work, but not for me
nice upbeat punk album that has lyrically a lot of content to add that might be lacking in other albums in the genre
its alright but there is no song that really stands out to me
its an album that grows on you, thom yorkes voice is defining for the radiohead sound and the songs are profound as always
interesting voice and tempo, the sound quality is pretty nice and most songs are good
nice alternative electronic album, add to it vocals from various artists and you get a banger album
Bruce springsteen is amazing in that even the albums that don't make it to the stream charts still have songs on them that are great.
dreamer and school are definitely outstanding songs and the rest isn't bad , but i can't say it left a memorable impression
great songs, great diversity and honestly surprised that i was completely unaware of the name harry nilsson
allround great album with a unique sounds and well written songs not much else to say here
Typical decent 70s soft rock album, not as outstanding as other albums however
typical 60s softrock
old school british punk
interesting album, i had to actually sit still and listen to it to really appreciate it. Since the melodies are simple and its mostly voice driven.
from the first second you can hear the typical kraftwerk sound for me its timeless
its alright i guess
its alright i guess, nothing special really
Its a unique sound of drum and bass techno electronic music combined with lyrics shouted over it, it's not bad but not my taste sadly
interesting songs, lacks a real hitsong, great melodies and the topics are non standard
the dude is great, sometimes im surprised that everything on the album is him considering the diversity of singing and instrumentals, cant say all songs on the album are great but enough are
i think hardcore punk is not for me
its starts with decent noise rock/punk and then starts incoorperating these earbleeding screeches that just want me to turn it down
great album, if you know bob marley you know how it sounds
interesting album with alot of smart content
i only knew the bee gees from saturday night fever so this was quite a nice surprise, its a decent album with their famous harmonies
punk band with its own sound, great songs
Musically really in interesting pulling from upbeat swing tunes to classical samples and other influences, really took me off guard
nice cheerful music to make you move
decent metal album that stylistically doesn't stand out much but isn't bad either
decent rock album, the fact it tells a story is noticeable even when you don't pay attention and overal its an alright gimmick
starts of great with roots of punk there and new electrical sound as the album progresses some 'experimental' sounds are used which mainly make your ears bleed
iconic roundabout tune, stylistically reminds me of supertramp its alright
its a good album eventhough its not really my taste, a mix of all kinds of genres with a couple hits inbetween too
decent dylan album, i want you is its only 'hit' but the rest is consistently dylan so you know what to expect
every song filled with feeling and great technique, altough not my style makes for a great performance
nice zztop album, fast rock and roll, 2 hit songs but the rest follows right after
standard acdc album
songs are quit simpel but muddy waters performance is sublime
the whole album sounds like it could have been made 5 years ago in terms of sound quality, altough im not into latin music it is alright
sounds very primitive and i can understand its unique appeal but its not really for me
nice songs accompanied by acoustic guitar, some songs in de middle are kinda of lacking in diversity and a different dynamic, angie is nice altough i wonder what kind of lyrics theme it would fit
decent 90s rap album album
its alright album, i guess it has a theme but the old people 'track' is a little bit odd
alright jazz album, i dont get jazz so just not for me
nice album with a mix of rock and blues rock
a generic rock album at first but as i listened it grew on me and the southern twang combined with the story told with the songs makes it different from the rest
chill jazz album, am not a jazz person
nice album with great songs
great album great songs, sometimes the flow of the lyrics is a bit lacking
nice cheerful reggae with 3 bangers and the rest is good too
great album great songs, overal amazing u2 sound
while musically good, with decent lyrics and good harmonies i find the album lacking any sort of 'soul' or feeling
good album decent songs, its a shame bohemian rhapsody has become a cliche since everything else they make only lives in its shadow
its an ambient album, which barely any vocals but somehow it manages to keep your attention
the album is decent, with somewhat simple lyrics here and there
a weird kind of album with a layed back feel to it that
carried by superb songwriting a good album where almost all songs are just good
decent album but it doesnt feel outstanding to me
i like the album, composed well and decent overall. Its lacking something that stands out however.
amazing album, unique sounding electronic songs that remind me of war chants or similar music
good funky soulful album
alright, but besides the shaft theme song lets a bit down on the other ends
the beach boys unique harmony sound is one of a kind and the songs dont bore even after so many years
really diverse album many genres are used altough alternative rock is the main theme, would recommend altough i dont really like it much
decent easy listening ambient/electronic album
album is alright, is a bit tame for modern standards, very much a 60s rock vibe obviously my generation, the song is the exception
decent alternative rock album i suppose
album contains classic rap to ambient electric tracks and does it in a way I've not heard before, surprised it has so few streams on spotify
its alright, r&b/soul mixed with electronic beats but its doesnt really excite me
decent classic rap album
nice album, if you're familiar with Led Zeppelin nothing will surprise you from this album. Mostly blues rock songs
decent album, surprised they managed to create the album after their main lyricist left like he did
like the wiki says, it feels a bit like jefferson airplane if they played folk instead of rock. Voice is great and songs are diverse but nothing too special
these albums with short songs/fragments instead of full blown songs is interesting but ultimately it feels like its missing its potential as every song is just a part of what it could have been.
doesnt sound that special to me besides the fact that its from a different african originated language
great voice and great songs, its not my taste really but i can't deny its a great piece of music
great album all round
decent alternative album but doesn't add enough for me to rate it higher
an interesting fusion of rock and jazz
honestly a great album the songs for themselves are great creative and have a strong message, musically it doesnt get boring
decent album with nice harmonies, and some classic songs
cool album has some nice songs a little bit alternative compared to mainstream rock
great album from the britpop era
its an alright album but besides 'That's entertainment' it lakes some magic to make it stand out
interesting album going from synth rb to just synth pop with some unusual political lyrics that are very obvious but not annoying
i feel like if i were to describe romance as a sound, the start of this album would come close. some songs on it are more jazz/ funky but they arent executed as well
nice bluerock with a style filled with soft distortion decent album
decent punk rock album
cool early punk album similar to siouxie and the banshees, the female driven punk really has a different style
the instrumentals are basically just a drum loop with some sound effects. Combine this with the fact that most of the vocals are just ad libs that are heavily editted its kind of a soulless album
decent british ska like, not sure who came first but i get some strong iggy pop vibes from parts of the album
interesting electronic sound, kinda of ambient but a bit more funky. Its a nice sound i hadnt heard before. But the album doesnt deviate much from this along the album which makes it a somewhat boring case. Nevertheless decent track
not your ordinary rock album, the first song is reminiscent of some dwarf fantasy song. The next one sounds like the opening of a detective. Everything supported by Tom's unique voice.
not really a fan, its alright but it just feels like its someone from france trying to be generic american pop
alright album, not innovative compared to other elvis costello albums
great album capturing fleetwood mac, strong instrumental songs aswell as vocal ones. Although the use of different singers and styles make it feel like its a mashup of 2/3 different other records. And some songs remind me of more famous songs
good reggea album but i think most good reggea just sounds the same
forgettable kinda
great voice, would definitely recommend
nice combination of poetic lyrics, great vocal harmonies and a good instrumental backup
decent soul album
decent blues style dylan album
cool punk esque alternative album with a uninque catchy sound
not a huge fan of thrahs metal but its alright, lyrics are kinda funny and its listenable
very classic punk, not my jam but its alright
musically interesting, arrangements are unique without being a niche genre
alright soft/alt rock album, much political content that im not really aware of
multilingual album of which i don't speak many, regardless the songs are nice and sound poetic. Musical composition is great. Surprisingly good album for a street busker
first listen is quite rough, there are some high pitched noices that i dont think belong in music. As you listne more though the spoken word stories combined with heavy ominous bass instrumentals create and interesting experience
i dont understand jazz
nice blues rock album
nice jazzrock album that starts at jazz and ends on a seemingly improv rock instrumental.
its alright, punk styled album with some interesting added influences that can be called psychedelic
sounds a like an alright classic country album
nice album, a bit alternative post punk but it stands out because of the instrumentals
not a fan of jazz
Pretty standard elvis album, shows the overlap with original black rock and roll but not really that special
great album so much energy, i guess cocaine
decently nice album with some interesting elements to complement the rock ballads,
very experimental and divers sometimes the thought comes to mind if they thought about if they should even if they could
nice melodic trance album that doesnt get boring somehow
nice pop album from the beatles taht still holds up today
nice post punk rock album
very experimental electronic and some instrumentals, interesting
good sinatra album, i guess the album as a whole is better than each song individually
great album. The vocals of janis joplins i was familiar with but the energy of this album is much more than that
great songs great execution still swings after more than 60 years
lyrically interesting, with a good flow its odd you dont hear them much anymore
decent creative album, very unique
never listened to a piano concert before, and i must say i was pleasantly surprised, i felt like the music told a story without words or any hint towards it which was a cool experience
i love this album, its clever, creat lyrics, doesnt bore and the skits are kind of funny putting the whole slim shady act together
great kinks album with their famous songwriting of semi casual rock songs that are that perfect mix of 60s sound and more modern rock
all round great stones album
this album is the essence of 80s rock can't believe he managed to put so many bangers on 1 album
decent blues rock album
a clear album drivne forward by the BLM movement. Its decent R&B and i think the value added would be the personal stories told inbetween the songs but i dont think it makes it a great album from a musical standpoint
good thrahs metal album that clearly bridges between more traditional heavy metal and modern thrash metal
feels more like a quirky alternate rock album than the psychedelic music i know
great britpop album
nice r&b rap combo a bit more literate than the usual rap music
is a good album but i don't think its that spectaculair
decent garage/grung rock album, impressive that everything is made by growl himself
decent album, has its own sound pulling from rock but also a bit more slow pace
album ranged from a piano chuck berry to a songs similar to frank sinatra, decent 60s album
has some nice songs on it but i don't get why its called psychedelic also some of the songs are basically elevator music so it evens out i guess
decent album
very black sabbathesque hardrock, heavy on the guitars quite primitive in that regard but the lyrics are way better than you'd think
a mix of punk alternative rock and some experimental weird touches makes for something that reminds me of smashing pumpkins but in its own unique way
entertaining classic rock album
its like experimental electronic music which means while maybe at some points interesting makes for not as pleasant listening experience. and at many points the album and songs are not really coherent.
a decent punk album with very nice lyrical content
beautiful album ful of emotional ballads about lost souls in life i suppose
i feel the album doesnt really know what it wants, its a mix of glamrock, 80s rock some hip hop all while song by a very 80s sounding singer. Its not bad per song but as a whole its a bit confusing
album is a nice synth pop album a bit on the more slow and darker side of things
it might miss their best of hits but this album is so nice as a whole, with diverse good songs mostly from the blues rock genre and interesting compositions
i feel this album is heavily carried by 2 songs, heart of gold and old man, and i think old man from a pure songwriting perspective in using words to make something special its not that good. decent songs but not outstanding as an album
insane for a debut album, it is one of the great things coming out of the post britpop genre
i knew lana del ray from earlier work so the style doesnt come as a surprise. you can like it or not. Meanwhile i think the lyrics are very cliche. It feels like with many of the songs they made up an edgy sounding title first and wrote the rest of the lyrics around it. Some of the lyrics almost sound like an AI got a mix of edgy feelings and country fed to come up with them. not really a fan of this album
the music is kind of creative and new but her singing doesn't add much unique to the tracks
surpringly well written concept album that does not include any of her major hits but still puts her amazing voice on display
its not bad sounding but i think its incredibly generic 60s rock music while also just taking classic songs and making them lose their qualities in the process
while the lyrics tell whole stories the musical composition is rather dull and boring
nice unstrumental album, doesn't become boring and is quite diverse
sort of a dark new wave album which is quite unique in sound in my experience but it lacks a bit to be really considered great i suppose
cool that such and old album already was using non music interludes to spice up and album to something more than a list of songs
great post punk album with its own unique (somewhat hysterical sound)
one of the greatest live albums ever made by one of the greatest hard rock bands ever
its spanish but it sounds like a 60s softrock band, and 60s spanish music and it has some intersting sounds in it that remind me of more electronical influences so its quite an intersting album. pretty good for it's era
i guess it has historic significance for using burundi beat but besides that its alright but nothing spectaculair, reminds me a bit of soft rock/punk
i knew the message and figured it would be a classic rap album. however, a big part of the album is more towards R&B. Some relgious themes too. The content is mostly social so thats cool and the early days dj techniques are also fun but it's a bit outdated besides its title track
decent album great voice she is called the queen of soul for a reason
this is great, funk music but every songs tries to really put something new out. Opening track is just a great song and the rock and roll one is cool too
great album very diverse going from jazz to funk and psychedelics as the name implies
a mix between punk and rock with a clear irish sound it doesn't seem to bore
very energetic pop/ pop rock album that has some interesting songs
album filled with insane songs
nice modern punk album
not as interesting as other albums in a similar genre
its like goth rock/punk a bit alternative and musically interesting but doesnt really listen very well to me
its alright folk rock but i dont get why this is on the list or what special about it
not that interesting
nice blues album one of the important people in original blues and laying the foundation for rock and roll later on
just some of the greatest u2 has brought
its like art pop but while interesting its lacking something that's actually pleasant to listen to still decent though
it sounds like an intersting background theme for in a game or something to set the mood but graciously. I wouldnt listen to it normally its too simple
typical elvis rock and roll album with fever as its main selling point as a more slow song, its typical elvis style so it isn't bad but it doesn't really set itself apart either
its nice, a step up from classic rap while not falling into the pretty standard gangsta rap variant
its alright i guess, shoegaze alternative rock
cypress hill has its own style in the rap genre that is a bit hard to compare to other groups from the same era but its entertaining enough
an alternative rock album with clear punk/postpunk influences, lyrics are well written and the mrs robinson cover is great
very unique album, it has a variety of different styles throughout, hard to compare it to something else or to really narrow it down to a genre but i think its really good
great modern punk album
Its a decent album, an example of rod stewards style of rock songs stay with me is a great song and the others are decent
sounds like an average modern rb pop album tbh thematics and lyrics are at some points above average but the rest sounds like drum loops so im not sure why there is a book required for the writing credits
interesting album tbh, its a shame the other songs arent on spotify.
never bothered too much with the ambient music genre but this is just bowie class
its a nice album but it has to grow on you, for me it starts out as a quite harsh drum and bass album but slowly you get into the flow and then it becomes really nice
suprisingly very political songs in a genre that might initially be offputting, turns out to be a great album with some musical diversity
nice house album, the album starts slow with some tribal african influences then it picks up midway to become a more club like house album
decent country album
although im dont consider myself a fan prince, he has his own style and he executed it with class this album holding 3 great songs and the others not far behind
i dont understand the point of jazz besides setting an ambiance in a film or something, this one is alright i guess not too fancy last song is quite intense
its very artsy alternative rock, reminds me a lot of steely dan
mix between general jazz and a soundtrack that would fit a movie with a nice landscape
i thought it was just a side gig from bowie but this album shows that they have their own quality in writing interesting songs inbetween rock and glamrock genre
a band and album that cannot really be pinned to one genre, very creative without being annoying 4/5 is a personal favorite as skater song
its a decent album and what it does, it does well but considering the length of it, i feel it could lose some material without losing much value, under the bridge is a great song obviously
very cool concept album
decent alt rock punk rock album
sounds like jazz to me
really good album with some legendary songs
very decent concept album, when i heard fight test i immediately heard father and son so on that matter the plagiarism is valid.
one of the all time best rock albums
suprisingly good, didnt expect so many modern influences in an arabic/french album. decent package overal
cool album, with many influences and a more developed musical background than many other rap groups
its an okay folk pop album, hollow is interesting but there is not another song that can live up to the same level. Not bad but not outstanding either.
decent blues rock, mainly carried by morrisons voice and classic blues compositions
one of the better classic rap albums whats golden is a banger and the rest has a nice flow
interesting album, not exactly my cup of tea but its an intersting melodious dreamy style of ambient like music
the non standard "world" music albums are always cool i guess kind of albums, as in its interesting to listen to but id probably never listen to it again.
nice blues rock a shame im missing half the album on spotify
after having listened to lust for life first, this albums seems to be a musical piece composition piece that is mostly contributed by bowie while iggy only supplied vocals that arent as prominent
cool example that good songwriting is all you need for a nice album, Ian Durry sounds like an average bloke but the songs are still great
decent album i suppose its special partially for its innovation at the time, reminds me a little bit of rainbow with dio albeit more 'alternative'
it sounds like alright britpop but with more rock than some similar groups from the era. Some songs also have interesting instrumentals but thats about it
cool album, clearly on the same theme as sworfishtrombones, still very experimental with some songs more fitting in a movie about dwarves but very nice nonetheless
i love this album, atlough the lyrics were written by someone else, i feel the songs are very well put together lyrics + music
when i started listening i wondered why this album is on the list. Then i read the wiki and from what i understand, its mainly its historical value that puts it here. The music isn't bad and the lyrical songwriting pretty good but overal forgettable
its a bit boring and missing anything to stand out, might have some historical relevance im not aware of
karen o's distinct voice combined with a fusion of electronic melodies and alt rock instrumentals makes for a nice album
sounds like an alround r&b album
i mean its a cool album buts its basically of the opening track an the organ to make it with all the other songs just tributes to it
considering this is released in 1977 pretty advanced electronic album
a little more generic talking heads, post punk new wave style
very chill jazzy modern album, somehow just keeps the thing going on without dropping a beat, might be a bit boring after a while
pink floyd albums are standing out so much because it feels like every moment in the song i supposed to be there, there is no unnecessary silence, not over the top instrumental. It all justs fits there
i love muse, and i knew the headliners of this album starlight, supermassive blackhole and knights of cydonia but the other songs are also great, special mention of map of the problematique. Only critique is that since hearing the live version of knights i cannot hear that one anymore without the once upon a time in the west intro
pretty cool album, shows still alot of the massive attack style but with more lyrical input
she is telling a book worth of stories in these songs but its just boring elevator music
above average rap album would give it a 3.5 if i could
decent album, pale blue eyes is an all time favorite
Good classic rock album, but considering its a live album its pretty amazing. sometimes I forgot it was live until I heard the crowd cheering again.
pretty good blues and soul album, and the live part really adds to the atmosphere
very unique style of music, not really a clear style therefor pop although its quite eccentric
decent psychedelic 60 album, however this is mainly about the first part of the album as the end becomes more tame and has some odd songs
a more acoustic sounding led zeppelin album, that still touches hard rock, folk rock and blues influences throughout
had to switch to youtube to listen to this album. started listening to this thinking it would be some overrated piece only there because it had the name neil young to it. but surprisingly i couldnt keep noticing the great songwriting
eventhough i dont like it, i cannot deny its a good mostly instrumental album combining different genres to a complete whole
very nice socially active album, music is alright i suppose, funny seeing kanye doing things
cool medieval metal sounding album, with multiple songs spanning the same tale, definitely a great unique sound
its in the name i guess old time rock and soul mixed, i love the sound on this track for some reason feels different than other records from its time, decent songs too
its a decent album, mostly punk influences combined with some experimental rock. its not bad and it evolves throughout but i can't say it's really great either a weird one
its nice listening to an african album but with modern instrumentals, the melodies are nice and warm and eventhough i can't understand the lyrics, they fit well together to form a harmonious package
very recognizable from movies, the music to play in a restaurant instantly sets a cozy mood but i wouldnt really listen to this with headphones on
cool album, seems to be a more rare genre within rock, southern rock
it sounded wrong but it might just be that portugese i believe is not a nice singing language imo
decent rap album, more storytelling than albums nowadays are. Musically its also good.
great orchestral rock album, mixing classical, rock and roll and other influences to create a complete fun album
pretty cool punk rock album, with interesting vocals along with the classic punk rock sound
very nice "folkatronic" album that has nice pop ballads with electronic backing to create a very chill record
interesting experimental punk/rock, kinda funny but for listening purposes probably gets boring after a while
cool jazz samba album as the title implies, just chill vibes
decent post punk album, its alright not outstanding. Most remarkable feature is the use of guitar riffs throughout that are more noticeable in similar acts
its soul its groovy not my style though but still alright
solid rock album, very surprised about the low stream count on spotify. its an alround great album only lacking a real sing along hit
just an alround great album with all time greatest "crawling" and obviously "in the end" still consider it one of the best choices i made by going to their concert a month before chester took his own life
takes a few more listens to get into it, its alright but still not standing out that much. has a bit of an artsy vibe to it
good alt rock album, doesn't bore out and uses tempo alot to keep the listener interested
arctic monkeys have this typical alt rock style that reminds of a more sophisticated punk rock alt rock style of the 90s and older. nowadays copied by more bands but still very decent music
a very catchy pop/rock album, with 2 bangers and the rest of the songs is alright
boring experimental electronic noise
interesting album with some songs with more rough edges than others overal a decent album
odd album, decent to listen to but its content is a bit weird, artsy almost. Sounds like it pulled alot of inspiration from talking heads
musically intriguing, the songs tell a good story but overall it can become tiring to listen to.
joy division has its own very distinctive sound and eventhough this album lacks a typical 'hit' its still a great album regardless
sick album especially if you consider the fact that this was made in 1971 and its basically a template for the next 30 years of rock right there. Powerful guitars, strong voice what else do you want from a rock album
very decent blue(rock) album
very recognizable 80s synth album, has a few hits and the rest is alright
for an album named bongo rock its a pleasant surprise. Although a bunch of the songs are carried more by other instruments than bongo.
a developed version of blues rock until it doesn't really share much with blues rock. It has a great sound and the weight it a great song but the rest of the songs a ren't all that different.
decent pop album with 2 big hits on it, some of the more slow paced songs get a bit boring however.
really cool and somewhat odd concept album, early years genesis is truly something else
i love this album, takes a bit more than 1 listen to get into it though
pretty cool slow paced edm album with some added instrumental for more depth
the name LL cool J reminded me of a C tier famous person in bad mtv shows, but this album is surprisingly good. Lyrically very nice and the beats are also creative enough.
a little bit boring, a pretty standard soul/r&b song that didn't really inspire musically
not my cup of tea mostly but i can admit that especially the first half of the album is pretty good and creative
I think the music is a bit dull compared to the lyrics its alright I guess.
very nice britpop album
pretty good rap album, has some humor in it too
pretty standard new wave album i feel like it just goes on where "it's my life" left
quite interesting for such an old rock record
just a great album
eventhough its released in 78 it feels like one of the core 80s rock albums, eruption is even more impressive in live versions
i feel like this album goes back to his start, slow poetic somber songs i love it
has a unique sound but besides that it just fits into the punk category and it doesnt feel extra special to me
easy listening rock, dont think it was that special
title song is interesting and style is somewhat unique but not remarkable enough to stand out
good blues rock / country album
great ska album, also nice its a concept album thats kind of unique in being positive and human
im surprised that hello was the most overplayed track of this album, the rest is amazing great album. A worthy successor to 21
its a nice to hear a hardrock band backed by a full orchestra but somehow there is something off that I can't put my finger on. It does prevent this from being a match made in heaven however.
cool album with a unique sound
its a peculiar album because its described as pop but no one would really think of this when they say pop. It reminds me of simon & garfunkel and john denver. Lyrically very intruing
a classic country album, shows why dolly is the icon she is today
its a decent album but i think its a bit soft compared to my expectation of iron maiden. Some songs are on the hardrock level of Boston. Nonetheless a decent album i think a live perforance will do it more justice
she sings nice and the music reminds me of a movie with snow outside and and the cozy warmth of inside but its not in my taste for regular listening
completely instrumental, at some point it grabbed my interest and didnt let go
lyrically pretty good, but their sound is pretty similar across albums so that gets a bit boring
really pretty songs, definitely something special even if it doesn't have that many streams on spotify.
its nice, and has interesting songs but it feels very difficult. Like it costs energy to listen to.
great first 2 songs, the rest is alright but not outstanding
very artsy, a bit similar to pj harvey but different. Takes some effortto listen to. Songs are diverse so that's interesting. All and all not that much of a fan but I appreciate it regardless.
this album is a masterpiece, with one song flowing over into the next without ever getting close to boring. not much to say, just listen.
its odd, interesting from a technical perspective not bad perse but i wouldnt listen to this in my free time
great album
honestly for a new wave album its quite good and has more interesting songs than you might think
nice genuine album about love
very interesting artsy rap album, wasn't available on spotify for some reason but the whole album was on youtube anyway. I should definitely give this a few more listens but its certainly extraordinary.
personally i love it, scottish folkrock with great songwriting
punk in its essence, didnt notice any track transitions its just punk from begin to end
its alright i guess
its a solid sounding album but i don't see why it is remarkable
kinda cool blues rock album standing out for sure
i didnt expect to like a trashmetal album, jesus built my hotrod is amazing and the other songs are also more creative than i expected
i dont really care for it, a bit shoegazy alt pop not bad not outstanding either
great album, very catchy. It has an original sound and style that I've not seen much before.
great raw album that really captures how much just a guy with a guitar can convey
feels a bit black panther movement, but some of the clips criticizing black people are interesting generally not that interesting musically mainly a political statement
its a decent album but there isn't much to standout which is a shame because the music is great just nothing fancy for listening.
nice album, middle is a bit weird, sounds foreign like musically. I love with a little help from my friends.
i love this album, the poetic nature of these songs is something you rarely see
very intersting electronic album, well used samples and it never gets stale
amazing album, its like folk and simple and at the same time innovative like ive not heard much before had to listen to this multiple times over
its experimental and such but i dont call this music, some of it is literally recordings of people but poorly
very artsy, using multiple layered voices and beatbox which is kinda cool wouldnt listen for my own fun but a cool experience
not for everyone i suppose, walk is a banger the rest of the album is surprisingly alright
i feel like whatever value it had when it got released it kinda lost it over time, its alright i suppose not really my genre either
pretty cool album, opening track is timeless obviously but the rest of the album is pretty great too
cool album, thought it might have lost its touch over the years but still very cool material
i knew the name kid rock as some nonsene idiot but this album is actually pretty good, mix of rock and rap on southern country themes and some other flavours too
great album, just great songs
3 bangers and the rest is solid too, morrisons voice is just godly
very cool album, also still music despite all the samples and innovative stuff. unlike some albums that experiment so much they dont sound nice anymore. i guess thats why its special.
pretty cool album, second song is not great so i was put off at first after the wallstreet shuffle but the rest is great too
i feel like this is probably the best 2000s punk rock album out there, has variety interesting topics great singalong and nice riffs. its the complete package
its an alright album. 3 of its songs are great which makes it good but the rest is alright.
its classic but still fun to hear on a list like this
funny album, not just there to make a point, sounds decent too
kinda cool actually its like a predecessor to prog rock with a bunch of electronics and rock mixed
not my cup of tea tbh, seems a bit boring
its somewhat odd since the first few songs are just pop-y songs that are catchy and more high tempo and then the rest of the album is just blue rock like music which is nice but it really makes the album a 2 parter
nice voice boring album
starts off pretty strong but the second half of the album is kinda of weak still decent enough
i always start sceptical but then its just superb songwriting and i have to admit its nice
i guess technically interesting but its alright as a album to listen to
i feel its too experimental, i know its their style an all but the other albums ive heard sounded more interesting and pleasant to listen to
starts of as a standard beachboys album but the ending is remarkable as experimental music thats just fun
catchy, has content idk something is just really chill about it
interesting concept album with cool music i guess it will stay relevant just out of its sheer odd story
idk why this is on the list, sounds like generic britrap to me
pretty fun album, middle song called we will fall is on a completely different level for some reason
very fun, seeing its release date was way ahead of its time
pretty decent alt rock/punk rock album with some interesting stylistic choices that make it a bit more harsh
stars calm but after a spoken word bizarre story turns into a highly experimental album with noises that arent always nice to hear but interesting for sure
dont really get the praise tbh, its decent some funky influences can be heard and lyrically creative but the end kind of falls off
very decent album with obvious hit mr brightside although somebody told me is my personal favorite
pretty decent album, unique in its style but not that outstanding to me
its alright but i dont get why its on this list, doesnt sound special or anything
decent album with 2 bangers
cool concept album sounds nice, great lyrics shoutout to halfsharkalligatorhalfman
very decent indie rock country album definitely deserving of a second listen
typical bowie means atypical than anyone else. A nice album with interesting songs combined with catchy ones
acutally suprisingly fun and nice album to listen to
i love this album its like psychedelic softrock kinda thing and it just keeps on going
decent album, shows queen is more than 100 nr 1 hits
i assume this album was praised for its political content because the music is alright but not special
the kind of experimental music that gets boring really fast
very decent album without any timeless hits
very nice album with their unique style that kinda boomed into a couple other bands with hit included
its alright, some songs seem a bit pretentious on the whole destroy rock & roll theme but they are never bad
the smiths were very political so naturally this is too, doesnt always entertain but the first of the gang song is a banger
such a cool album in a cool setting songs are still plain country but that doesnt take away much from it
decent album, i cant get enough of stuck in gaffa
its unique, and alright but its not something i could listen to all day
great punk rock album could keep it on loopt 5+ times
very nice album, not my usual style of music but she keeps the slow ballad songs interesting, here and there a rare touch of sounding whiny
so experimental im wondering what im listening to, kinda dull it essence
what a sick album, amazing how so many bangers are on the same thing, and even the lesser known ones are good
i mean its decent music but it feels strange to encounter on this list of amazing or historical albums
didnt enjoy it much, not very listen friendly for me
its surprising how many good songs are on this that are completely overshadowed by bitter sweet symphony
so many bangers on this, very unique style with old samples mixed with kinda of slow beats
it sounds like its a parody on songs that try to mean something profound, in the style of folksy music. I dont like it but I can't hate it either
nice album, sometimes a little bit too complex as to where it loses its flow but nice nonethelsss
honestly kind of dull as you get further into the album
decent fun live album
interesting album, very nice start falls a bit flat passed the halfway mark but never gets dull
