Great Album, each song is good and sounds like it belongs into a huge stadium show and best of playlist. Album itself could do with being 15 min shorter
Very refreshing! A upbeat, feel good rock-pop album with many catchy songs. Individual songs could be a bit longer
Could have been a decent album if not for the ridiculous length and many filler songs
Not really my type of music, a bit too raw and aggressive sounding although can see its appeal if one likes the genre. 2/5
Surprisingly entertaining and easy listening. Solid music and a look into Brit pop
Very solid album, nothing to dislike about that kind of music
Good Album that is an all around great listen, not one song stands out but all of them combine for a joyful listening
Interesting to hear this subgenre but in the end all the songs were too close to each other and unremarkable
There's not much to be said that hasn't already been said, this is one of the best albums of all time, a perfectly packaged concept album that never feels boring or dull and that was groundbreaking back then and still is almost 50 years onwards
Great album overall, there weren't any songs standing out particularly but it is a well put together album that, as their debut album, laid the foundations for a great career
Went in there expecting not much, having never listened to them before but I had a great time listening to this album and enjoyed it thoroughly. The more melodic aspect of this album hit exactly what I like in rock and I'm definitely looking forward to check out more of then
Good pop album with an edge from a legendary artist with a unique voice. Despite this not being my personal favorite genre and only steel claw popped out as a great song i liked, it was an overall good album that deserves its rating
Good album of own and cover songs but nothing remarkable or outstanding so a solid 3
Not really a traditional country album but not bad. She has a good voice and the album is decent.
What a great put together album. Joni has her individual style yet one never feels like one song sounds like the other or that they blend together.
Very early, British punk rock. Unfortunately I fail to appreciate the art in it, it sounds bad, the singing reminds me more of drunk people yelling at the pub......
Expected absolutely nothing but it was quite an enjoyable album, liked the unorthodox edge it had with melodic melodies and singing
Atrocious, simply atrocious, not sure what to say about this wanna be music
Decent album but for a legendary and hyped artist like Lennon, I can't help but to feel the album is underwhelming.
Interesting instrumental album..not the biggest fan of the instrumental but I have to appreciate the effort and the art in it
Not a bad pop album but absolutely nothing special. First two songs are good, after that the album becomes to monotonous to impress
Did not like this at all, no melodies, all just yelling, not my cup of tea at all
Weird name but not a weird album. Surprisingly decent as some background music. The perfect example of a 3 star album
More modern, less Britpoppy than for example Oasis and Blur. Liked it a lot, especially the second half of the album. However due to the slow first half, I have to award a 4 instead of a 5
Interesting to venture out into a world that I normally do not go to. Great guitar work, overall a decent album
Decent britrock album with some interesting edges to it, although in the end it does lack some memorable songs to gain a 4 star rating
Decent album, does fail to live up to expectations though because there's hardly any influence of Jobim visible
Great album that is genre bending and never boring. Dilling into folk, pop, rock, jazz, blues and doing it all great
Great Album, each song is good and sounds like it belongs into a huge stadium show and best of playlist. Album itself could do with being 15 min shorter
Decent album, starts out very strong the first third or quarter but then slows down and ends up being 15-20 minutes too long
Great album, loved the concept of 4 different sides with different genres
Decent but can't help to feel a bit underwhelmed given his legacy and the expectations that come with it. Not a bad album, good for the background but nothing more
While the Sitar is an interesting instrument, this album sounds more like a 50 minute solo on the Sitar which is just not that enjoyable as an album
Great Album, really like the voice and the composition. Although not a masterpiece, it's definitely a very good 4
Liked the versatility of this album, no song sounds like the same and 3 lead singers is a refreshing concept.
Decent album which for a name like that, falls a bit short of expectations
Decent album, found the melodics and the heavier instruments to be the missing thing from Britpop
Decent album that can't hold the high quality of its opening title nor of some other britrock staples
Great Album, her voice fits great to the music and there is not a single bad song on the album
Absolute great Album, so versatile and creative, never boring
A crap shoot, a mashup of two genres that offer nothing better than listening to the genres individually
Decent album that certainly isn't the best work of The Who nor anything remarkavle
Didn't like this one too much, the mixing has the vocals too low, all the songs are unremarkable and sound the same
Classic Punk and me, I don't think we'll ever become friends
Good feel good album with great harmonies and fun songs
Surprisingly great, each song has something else that I liked about it, 80s pop with an edge
Great folk album, has a great baritone voice and great instrumentals, not the biggest fan of the lyrics
Not my genre but also not very good albums even for somebody that's no expert in rap
Just not enough of a structure and beat to be enjoyable, too stripped down, mostly just some percussion in the background
Decent rock album but nothing more because the rest of the albums fails to live up to the quality of the first, title giving song
Decent, influential album. From a pure listening experience, the organ got a bit overused towards the end of the album
Surprisingly good and upbeat rock album which doesnt have any bad songs but also too little great songs to deserve a 5
Not per se Bad but the album is just too long, the songs are too similar and she's trying to hard to be different and edgy
Decent but at the end of the day fails to excite
Bit disappointed as I expected more based on the name and their legacy. It wasn't bad however I found it in-between sounds, not really being either and thus kinda average
Decent album that, 40 years later, lost its groundbreaking appeal for me
Quite liked this one, it's a happy and tolkienesque sound with some harps, mandolins, etc
Decent R&B but too long and fails to be more than background music
Interesting album that has a bit of an edge to it, definitely better R&B than Maxwell the day before but still not enough to get 4 stars for me
Very refreshing! A upbeat, feel good rock-pop album with many catchy songs. Individual songs could be a bit longer
Entertaining and enjoyable indie pop with some good harmonies and melpdies
Surprisingly not awful however still nothing special
Decent however the songs sounded too similar and only the first song was a big hit
Good album, enjoyable and joyous sound, no huge hit but fits well together
Very unorthodox and different but good. Angelic voice, a synth sounding like many various instruments and a movie score-like composition
Very basic rap album without a lot of beats and very clean rap. Not bad, just too long and too monotonous
Not a good singing performance, almost slurrish singing, uninspiring and monotonous music
Could have been a decent album if not for the ridiculous length and many filler songs
Very solid debut album of a great pop band. Yellow is by far the best song on there but there is not a really bad song on there either
Decent albums, not as wannabe different than her previous one from the 90s however still with an edge. Ultimately though not enough standout songs to warrant a 4
Good album which has a lot of missed potential unfortunately, would have wished that the more exotic and medieval sounding songs were more plentyful
Decent country album however the songs all sounded too similar and none of them really stood out
Great Overall album, mystical and enjoyable songs, setting a great mood
Did like it, unfortunately the first song was the best since it was much more dark and mysterious than the rest, the others were almost normal blues rock
While not the best album that normally would be a 3, the whole character and music fit together perfectly and sold the album. Very creative and unique
Ultimately a bit disappointing, way too long, songs sounded too much the same, too little guitar action
Good album but would have preferred more songs of them all together like the last two songs of the album
Groundbreaking yet in total a bit underwhelming, not my favourite style of rock so the spark didn't fly
I fail to see many positive things about this album and kind of music
Liked it, just something about that it makes it easy listening and feel good
Just too boring in my opinion, trying too hard to be different
Tough to rate like an album cause it's just ambient music
Actually a pretty good album, no song stands out but overall very enjoyable
Even though the album was too long and had too many fillers, it was still an interesting and enjoyable album
What a masterpiece, genius guitar work, never in your face but always present, great atmosphere
Good album however none of the songs really really stands out which prevents it from getting a 5
Great album, it's like the epitome of Classic rock. B side is a bit weaker but A side is banging
Decent, little disappointing though because if it wasn't for the guitar play, this would be a 3 star album
Wasn't a big fan, just not enough melody and song structure
Just not my type of music and music that's suitable to listen in a full album setting
Surprisingly good 80s pop, no standout songs but overall a enjoyable album
Good album but personally I prefer his faster ultempo songs and prefer his Bad Album
Surprisingly unorthodox for S&G but still a great album with beautiful songwriting
Surprisingly good R&B+Pop album
Decent but just not my type of music and too rythmic
Decent album, just nothing really memorable about it and the big singles aren't that great in my opinion
Surprisingly great album, liked the combination of voice and instruments, shows a great variety of genres and songs, without becoming too much
Not that bad, sound actually fairly modern for the age, would give this a 3.5
Quite interesting and unique, very deep voice but somewhat soothing piano play
Surprisingly entertaining synth pop with catchy tunes
Ultimately just too long and not interesting and innovative enough
Started strong but ultimately too long and too similar of songs
Surprisingly enjoyable album to have in the background
While it's just at the edge of how much grunting and raw metal I can listen to, this is still not very enjoyable
Interesting album, highly acclaimed but looking at the songs specifically, nothing stands out that warrants a 4 to me
Didn't expect to like this but I did. It has a nice grooves some heavy guitar riffs and is innovative. Too long though
Not bad but ultimately fails to leave a Impress
Interesting album and a nice concept. Liked the sound a lot, just the last edge is missing for this to be 5 stars
While worse than their other album, it's still above average and warrants a 4, although it's closer to a 3.5 than a 4
Surprisingly good album, liked the sound a lot plus the songs were very catchy
What a great sound, fast paced songs and howling guitars, every song has class - what's not to like?
Not too different from the other Stripes album, appreciated the few singing songs but still overall nothing too outstanding
Enjoyable but not enough to leave a lasting impression
Not bad however all in all just a tad bit too unexciting and too similar sounding
Enjoyable and somewhat amusing album with tongue-in-cheek lyrics, surprisingly good
This was a pleasant surprise. Has that exotic factor due to English/afro Carribbean accent, the electronic beats are versatile and catchy, the lyrics are fun and weird
Unfortunately worse than School's Out, no song really stood out and overall they were just rather boring and similar sounding
Although only just over 1h, the album dragged on forever with songs that are just nothing special
Good high energy live album, great length
Interesting album, great opener with some other great 4 star songs, overall a good 4 star album
Just nothing that stand out or makes this album remarkable in any way
Not bad but fails to leave a lasting impression, instruments too loud, many cover songs, album came before their biggest hits
What a great album/songs. Even 33 years later, still very much relevant
Just nothing interesting, drags on way too long
Surprisingly not that bad, album was all over the place with lots of different genres mixed into Hip hop
Decent but it's not a genre that I would ever actively listen to
Purely based on the songs and how I like them, this would be a 3 however I have to commend the "artistry" in the album, it's diversity of different styles aswell as it being ahead of its time for 1966
Not bad but ultimately expected a bit more, no song really stands out or is memorable
Not bad but just average, lack of big hits and memorable songs
Not that bad to be honest, violent and aggressive lyrics, would give this a 2.5 if I could
Nice album full of psychodelic songs that work well as a whole album
Not a bad album, just too long runtime and the songs sounding all very similar
Not bad but just fails to love up close to any of the hype that's associated with a Ex-Beatle.
Decent album however the guitar playing, whil excellent, was less of a focus on this album which didn't help the album
Decent and quite adventurous, but nothing that's memorable or outstanding
What a great album, every song is class and belongs on there and is catchy
Decent album, great length, nice listening, just a bit too monotonous
Something about this album that is actually soothing and enjoyable. Nice voice, the electronics are a nice added touch
Interesting to hear and learn about the artist and that time but nothing more
I want to like it but it's just not enough for a 4 for me. The songs are just a bit too simple for me, both lyrically aswell as musically but they lack the catchiness of for example CCR
Liked the mysterious and sad atmosphere but the songs fail to make this more than an average album
Starts out decent but begins to fall off quite a bit, way too long, bad singing, just not my genre and truly forgettable
Surprisingly good, got lots of Pink Floyd vibes from the instrumental parts
Was interesting to listen to music from that era but at the end of the day, it didn't do much for me, decent
Surprisingly decent alt rock but missing one or two hit songs to be awarded 4 stars
A great album with some huge hits. Unfortunately the other songs cannot hold the high quality of the hits which keeps this album from reaching 5 stars
Sounded all very similar and the songs being about the same topics got old quickly
Interesting, but could have done with a bit more vocals and guitars
Great runtime, easy listening, just good basic rock and
Really liked this one, from Eddie's voice, to the classic/stadium rock elements, the riffs, just a great overall rock album
This is hardly music, sounds more like a sermon or ted talk
Decent album, surprisingly liked the first hipvhopvalbum better than the funk part
Long double album but a great one! Really liked the vibe/atmosphere of the album, every song has its place on the album and is minimum a decent song
Decent country album but ultimately fails to leave an impression
Decent album that showcases Neil's Talent, although I would have personally preferred some more electric guitars
Surprisingly boring, basic blues rock, little guitars, not very catchy
Slightly expected more, in the end not bad but the album is very long and hardly any songs were memorable enough to remember them after the listening
Decent 90s punk album that's a bit too long and lacking a big hit
Easy listening that fails to make a lasting impression as more than background music
Short and sweet country album but no songs are really outstanding
Decent disco album that unfortunately got old quite fast though due to very similar sounding songs
Decent album with an interesting artist history. Fails to make a lasting impression though
Decent rapping, album too long though and would have preferred some better beats with more instruments, less electronic
Decent but ultimately the songs are very similar and nothing stands out
Interesting electric sound but wished the songs were a bit catchier and diverse
Good instrumentals but just lacking the singing to make good rock sonvsz
Great album, never boring, loved the guitar, timeless sounding
While they might have been one of the first ones to play a heavy metal-esque sound, they didn't really do it well
What a stroke of genius, so many instruments, so many intricate melodies and harmonies, and all of it played by an 19 year old in 1973
Great Rock album, awesome of course as a debut album, but overall it has three great songs, couple of good songs and the rest of the songs fall off, being a three ish, so overall this combines for a good 4
Interesting and kinda weird. Solid 3 stars though
Great suprise here, the album is full of catchy songs with lots of harmonies, my guilty pleasure. Interesting sound also for late 80s, prog and psychodelic rock paired with some 80s dance influence
Way too long but besides that an entertaining combination out of folk, rock and roll and country
Very rough, the experimental aspect is fine, it just sounds bad. If you take away the electronic parts, you have a decent albums so that's what saves it from a 1
This was a nice surprise and quite suitable for me as it was not too raw Post-Punk. Still melodic music, singing was also actual singing so this deserves a 4
Very atmospheric and unorthodox, with lots of instrumental parts and little singing. 4 for creativity
Decent punk album that actually is fairly calm and "beginner-friendly", not all that raw and aggressive
Great easy listening rock, impossible not to like
Nice voice but would have liked the songs to be a bit more uptempo, like this they were somewhat a bit dull and monotonous
Great prog rock album with some folky/medival sounding melodies
Decent instrumental album, would have liked some more diversity in sound and melodies
Not my music at all, but even then I found the album to be very repetitive and boring
A album that could have been decent, if they decided to make proper songs and not try to be innovative with weird sounds and noises
Found this album very generic pop music, expected a bit more uniqueness from an album of a music legend
Fails to leave a lasting Impression, mellow sound but no song really drives the album
Nice to hear some Sinatra sequel music from Brazil, interesting to listen to it and it's influences
Not sure I do understand the sense or right of existence for this kind of music but at least it had some melodies, even though one heard it all after 30 seconds of the song
While this Album still has great innovation and Bowie's mastermind, the end result from a music standpoint is just not my cup of tea
Probably the most Africa sounding album so far, interesting to listen to for sure
Nice blues rock that sounds like a big jam party. No Song really stands out and carries the album, the album is a rad bit too long but still good rock
The beats are simple and lacking a bit, rapping flow is nice. Overall a decent album that isn't too long
Personally I'm not a fan of the funky beats and light, not- so-serious lyrics but that's obviously also the time, not just this album alone
Interesting instrumental full of psychodelics and ambience
What a great album, combines the positive aspects of britpop with some heavier guitars and stadium anthem like choruses
The songs sounds all too similar, nothing really stands out. Decent country-esque but not more
Bit weird sounding at first, with ProgRock/Psycholedia/Instrumental parts mixed with some slow ballad-type songs but if one embraces the weirdness it ends up being quite a nice ride
Never thought much of her but this was actually a decent album, great combination of pop, r&b and hip hop styles
Hip Hop pioneers whose album was unfortunately only half available, hard to review the album like this
Reggae album that fails to leave a lasting impression as all the songs sound very much the same and fade into ambience very quickly
Very very raw and super short, the latter is the best thing about this album
Decent rock album that doesnt contain any songs though that leave a lasting impression
Bit too raw and aggressive for my liking, would have appreciated bit more singing than yelling but overall not as bad as imagined which probably is aided by the short runtime
Hard to find anything positive about this, 1 hour of electronic noise over some ambiance music
Better than his previous album because it's more of a personal sound and not so Dylan esque however still a bit lacking to give it a 4
Half the album wasn't available on Spotify but what I've heard was repetitive and unimaginative
Nice album however the whole Bossa Nova genre is a bit too slow and monotonous for me
Nice album, great runtime and good mix of songs and instruments
Very influential album with high class lyrics but musically I didn't like how many songs were cut up by interludes and spoken word passages. The rapping could have been a bit more focused, he sounded bored at times
Interesting to listen to this influential artist but personally I'm not really touched by it nor am I anything but indifferent to it
Enjoyable R&B album with heavy pop influences that does lack more great songs though to warrant a fourth star
What a wonderfully weird album, A side is more rock, B side is more pop but always with a special psychodelic/mad edge
Just a nice and solid rock album that is no groundbreaker by any means but instead is a catchy album that is very easy listening
Not bad but just way too long to keep my attention. It's more of a sampler of different country musicians so hard to compare to proper albums
Nice enjoyable album, easy listening yet not boring or simple. Liked the saxophone and the vibe
Decent album, definitely a great background music but not my type of music for main listening ourposes
Nice melancholic and slow folk, missing some versatility for a higher rating though
Fast and raw with long songs that often sound like different songs stuck together but nonetheless a great album
Missed opportunity to combine the Europop beats with real catchy songs
Not a big fan of her voice but also overall lacking any big and great songs
Interesting, unorthodox "spacy" sound but fails to catch my attention further
Not a big fan of funk but the combination of rock made it decent for me. Songs bit too long and repetitive
Overall not bad but too long and too much of a mix of styles without excelling at any of them and no song really sticking out
Much to my surprise I quite liked this, the songs were quite catchy and I liked the guitar and voice harmonies
Nice to hear but fails to be more than classical background music for my ears
Fairly indifferent about this one, neither great nor bad, just bang average
Quite liked this one, each song belonged on the album, great riffs
This was both annoying and just not good. Annoying voice, simple and bothersome electronic beats, hardly real singing.....
Important rap album but the combination of funky beats and short back and forth rap isn't my favourite
Nice voice but overall the songs are a bit too mellow, quiet for my liking and too monotonous
Decent post punk that is a bit quiet. However no son really sticks out, the music turns into background music rather quickly
Decent, at times wild electronic punkesque music
Great album showing the versatility of Neil. Slow, fast, country, rock..... And always great lyrics
Great, powerful rock album. Every song belongs on the album and knows to entertain
Decent album with one famous song (Epic). Stylistically all over the place, which isn't a bad thing but ultimately not enough to warrant a 4
Nice album, enjoyed the uniqueness of the flute, combined with some "old sounding progressive/psycholedic" tunes. Also liked the singing voice of Ian
Great rock album that was ahead of its time and is thoroughly entertaining
Easy listening however the very repetitive style of all the songs got old quick
easy listening, typical 80s synth style with a smooth voice. Nice!
Decent background music but not more for today's ears
Short album that is technically even shorter since it's filled with interludes. Decent 80s pop, although a rather annoying singing voice
Very unorthodox, would have liked a bit more singing than speaking but overall not bad
Enjoyable 60s rock that sounds very Beatles esque
Decent prog rock live album that does lack great songs though and thus remains average
Interesting combo, did mind the punkish singing but enjoyed the catchy rythmsnof the ska
Decent album, typical british new wave, nice electro sound but fails to leave a lasting impression
Just too messy and unremarkable to be anything more than average
Ultimately a bit disappointing, half the songs were really raw and mainly screaming, the other half of the songs were decent but didn't compare to Nevermind's songs
Nice and entertaining classic rock but not enough for me for 4 stars
Yet another post punk that disappoints. Really did not like the way the singer's voice sounds and how it's almost more spoken than sung
Iconic singer with good music which, today, unfortunately doesn't command your attention very much
Awful, like having a class of pre teen music students play whatever they'd like all at the same time
Nice combo of progressive rock's weirdness and Queen's singing quirks and harmonies
Decent space rock, was a bit confused though as to why in the midst of the album the sound drastically changed from rock to almost only ballads
Decent easy listening, bit too slow for my liking but overall not bad
Not my cup of tea and a bit boring but objectively not a bad album. But also not really a good one either
Great easy listening, hard to find something not like about this, country at its most enjoyable
Just nothing worthwhile, too long, too chaotic, but not like I hated it
Bit disappointing, the music was just a big mash, the singing was mainly ooooohs and aaaaaahs and the structure of the songs was non existent
Great album that, due to it being not too hard and aggressive and it's somewhat catchy songs is also great for people who are normally not too much into the genre
Folk mixed with psychodelic, liked it and wanted to applaud the thinking outside the box mentality here
This was great, it's exactly what I loved about the Stephen Stills album and what I often missed in Neil Young's Solo albums: the edge, provided by the guitar and riffs that were probably provided by Stills. It's a perfect length album with a wide array of songs, slow, mid tempo, fast, quiet, heavier. It's easy listening with a rock edge, what's not to love
Bruce managed to create a album not full of hits but full of atmosphere, storytelling and great music
Decent rock album that is too long and lacking highlights to be
Unfortunately below expectations, Heroes as a lead single isn't even that good, the rest of the songs fail to coming close to anything remarkable and the instrumental/ambience B Side was redundant
Easy listening for the background but the songs itself were too similar to not make this another decent album that will be forgotten after a few days
Decent jazz album that's great as background music but fails to really convince as the only source of entertainment
Entertaining and catchy rock album that is very easy to listen to and hard to find flaws
Decent minimalistic indie, that creates a special atmosphere which makes it perfect for background listening but fails to command more attention
Nice music for the background but for today's ears, it fails to be more than that unless you are a affictionado
What a uniquely weird Album. Tom has a unique voice and a unique, I orthodox way of using it. The background music is minimalistic but works and fits the bill
The genre itself is just too messy for me, the sound and vocals are merging into each other, hard to hear and understand anything. Songs are not catchy or memorable either
Decent album, very beatles-eque with a couple of songs that became famous later on due to being covered
Nice, atmospheric folk album. Runtime was just right, not too long. Maybe lacked one or two standout songs but still a good album
Really liked the combination of catchy pop sounds paired with the extravaganza of Prince's rock and funk
Ultimately just too uneventful and boring sounding to be anything more than a 3
Personally I found this type of jazz to be too fast paced, listening to it was not relaxing or a joyful experience but it felt like one was being rushed and almost stressful. Objectively though it's a good album by a legendary artist so I'm giving this the standard 3 for world/others
Wanted to like this better with except for great guitar work it's a pretty unremarkable album
Decent rap album that is too long and lacks any standouts
Great rock album, few songs are a bit too heavy but the rest is great rock that is hard to dislike
Bob Dylan is always a great listen, what a magnificent storyteller but in this case, the bare bones acoustic background music just left one wanting a bit more
Tough to rate what is technically a sampler as a "normal" album but if looking at the songs individually you have good to great reinditions of classic Christmas songs which help making this album as good for Christmas listening as a Spotify playlist
The temptations going psychodelic, interesting concept but fails to fullz convince after a few songs
Indie rock meets electronica, an album devout of any highlights or anything worthwhile remembering
Despite the album having lots of covers, this one deserves a 4 since Cash really put his own personal stamp on each of them
Nice voice and atmosphere but ultimately the songs fail to impress or leave a lasting memory, all being rather similar and without highlights
Solid and catchy 80s synth pop that is unfortunately too repetitive to justify a 4 stars
A through and through high level album, similar storytelling like Neil Young or Bob Dylan, here with a fun-sounding world music twist
Just like the other album of theirs, an album that lacks highlights in Form of great standout songs or solos
This truly was a huge disappointment for me. A Grammy winning album that is jumping from genre to genre with each song, each time in a worse manner while sounding awfully a lot like Kid Rock
Nice rock with Celtic influences which are not too overwhelming or too much, just the right amount. Makes for a enjoyable, happy listen, albeit a bit too long
A great album that seems to encompassing of everything 80. Synth pop, new wave, some prog rock esque sounds, a 15 minute song on the first half, couple of covers and sandwiched by two of the biggest 80s songs with Relax and Power of Love
Punk that seemed slightly less aggravating than some others before however it's still a genre and album that I cannot ensure for longer than 10 minutes
Decent easy listening album of mostly Motown and soul covers that ultimately though fails to provide any real highlights
What a great pro album. More towards pop than rock and lacking a bit guitar but that gets made up by that great sounding keyboard being prominent
This was a revelation, awesome guitar playing paired with some brass/orchestral sounds paired with some prog experiments produce a album that is long but doesn't fail to amaze. Enjoyable and catchy songs that finish with a 14 minute epic, what's not to love?
Surprisingly great quality of recording and also the band sounding very much like in the studio. The songs are all very similar but despite that, I couldn't help but to nod along and enjoy the album which is why I'm going to bump this up to a 4
Like most of the world music: interesting and nice to have heard it once but that's it
Great Album that combines the best elements of early 2000s alternative rock and Brit Pop
Not bad and definitely one of the more easy listening rap albums
Surprisingly decent electronic album with enjoyable melodies and also some vocal songs
Decent album that while never annoying, also fails to make a big and lasting impact
CCR is always good, catchy and simple songs that are always enjoyable. This album however did miss the last bit to propell it to a 5
What a great album! Compared to earlier Who albums, this is a marvel. "Bookended" by three mega hits, the rest of the album is studded with everything, fast paced songs, power ballads, guitars, synthesisers
Decent easy listening that drags on a bit long though and the rather basic concept loses its appeal rather quickly
A punk album that is rather on the side side of the spectrum. Tolerable and listenable, without any real heights or lows
What a masterpiece. Not a single bad songs, great variety in styles, great guitar play, big hits.... What's not to like
Not bad but actually somewhat boring. Slow pace, similar style of all the songs, just not memorable
A album that stylistically might have been a bit ahead of its time but for today's standards lacks highlights and is rather boring
Actually really liked that. It was 90s Alternative Rock and even some sounds that I would attribute to late 90s Pop-Punk, combined with 70s rock and made a great combination
Does what its supposed to do it you want something to drown out the silence but can't say that it's anything more than that
Decent easy listening but fails to leave a bigger impression
Decent soul album that has no real issues but fails so provoke more interest. great for the background
A great Brit Pop band forsakes Brit Pop in an effort to sound more American and produce an average album that could have been by any of the thousands of alternative rock bands
Good and highly unique/creative album. Very much liked the "up and down" between hard metal and softer parts
Decent album that's a bit too long and too all over the place to really get going and leave an impression
What a great and uplifting album. Robbie can sing just about anything, fronted by two of his biggest hits, each song belongs on the album and has a unique edge, definitely no standard, boring pop
Typical 60s with some psychodelic pop edge. Not bad but in the end the album is just going to be one of hundreds that are not bad but listening to them once is enough
Easy listening music that sounds jolly. Not bad but nothing really stood out
A good double album with nice piano-heavy music that however leaves me wanting a bit more. A bit more rock, a bit more prog rock and also a bit more diversity
This wasn't super rough to listen to but it's hard to understand how an album full of just beats could be considered a must hear
Decent album with nice synth beats that are a little bit too repetitive and similar sounding throughout the album
Great album that isn't fronted by big hits but rather convinces with a high quality throughout the whole album. Loved the sound
Decent country album with great runtime that doesn't stand out from the crowd of similar albums
Great pop album that is focusing on its strengths and not trying to be something it shouldn't be. Great variety of songs, all at a very high quality level, they all belong there
Interesting and unique concept that ends in a double album of average country rock that fails to leave an impression
Good album, very beatles-eque with a blues touch. Not a real bad song but also not a lot of song standing out very positively
Found this album rather obnoxious and too "in-your-face". The instruments are very loud and noisy and the almost crying-out-loud singing style make for a very noisy experience. All the sounds kinda sound the same which culminated in a sensory overload for me
A ABBA album that, despite lacking huge hits and being less light in terms of lyrical content, still entertains massively and doesn't have a bad song over a great runtime of just shy of 40 minutes They never fail to bring good mood and cheer up
Wanted to give this a fair chance but just couldn't. Already not a favourite genre of mine but it felt also that half the album was just kinda a waste of time. The first track was an okay instrumental that lacked any real highlights or any that warranted it being 10 minutes long. Then followed a few rather short songs, one as unspectacular and forgettable as the other before we arrived at the closing track, Wars of Armageddon. This one should have been called Noise of Armageddon and is really a 10 minute shittake. And I don't mean the Asian mushroom! The kind of noise and sounds that are in there make you go wtf is this.and even after sitting through all of it, I still wonder what exactly the point or purpose of this was. This one did feel like a waste of 36 minutes and left me with no choice but to hand out another 2 stars
Entertaining album, reminds me a lot of Elton John with an Edge due to the piano focus. Definitely a good album though without any big standouts
Not as bad or aggressive as their previous album but this is still far beyond anything I would enjoy as music
Enjoyable and diverse album with a consistent quality in the songs
While this electronic album thankfully does have lyrics, their mediocrity does little to save this album
English/Portuguese mix with Bossa Nova and Swing influences. Interesting combo but nothing more
While Indian influences proved to be a fresh take on electronic music, the album is too long and the new idea also gets old fast
Great guitar play but the rest of the album is just decent to good. Bit disappointed, expected a bit more progressive or heavier stuff. Seems to be going more into the direction of for example The Who, without ever reaching that greatness
What a ride, this album has it all. Catchy choruses, great guitar work, especially love the piano work. All in all this always feels massive, like a grand opera. Every song is a great one, definitely one of the albums I personally enjoyed the most so far
Björk doesn't have a as voice but it almost seems wasted on such a minimalistic and almost boring music style
Overall just very odd with weird noises etc. The fact that the oddness is the only thing I remember a day later, clearly says something
Great overall album, very easy listening and good for everybody, not just Hip Hop fans, since it's a great combination of Hip Hop with some singing, some soul and R&B etc
Just an overall good album, classic rock and roll mixed with some new influences and outcomes an album that keeps a good pace and quality throughout its 40 minutes runtime. Costello doesn't amaze but he never disappoints
Decent album that is without real highlights nor low lights. Typical 3 stars
Somewhat surprisingly quite liked this. The jazz and funk combo was very groovy and found myself nodding along to it more than usually with an genre like that
Decent album that actually sounds much more modern than it is due to it being similar to the Gangsta Rap of the early 2000s.
While behind expectations and less rock than expected, it's still an album full of enjoyable and catchy songs
What a true masterpiece. Not sure there is a better and more hit-loaded A-Side than this one. Each song of the album could be a single and a hit, no song is like the other, the combination of three great vocalists plus Lindsey's guitar play. Doesn't get much better than this
Decent pop/rock album with a storytelling style lyricism. Tad bit long but overall catchy enough to warrant 4 stars
Great Album with a high quality of songs. Feels somewhat like a textbook alternative rock album
Enjoyable live album that is full of typical classic rock music and also boasts a few "classics" that everybody has heard of or heard before. Being a live album it is rather long of course but overall still a good experience
Did want to like it but realistically it's just not my cup of tee. The beats are funky and minimalistic, the rapping is, while lyrically on a unique level, often interrupted and lacking flow. Personally I didn't enjoy this as much as I hoped i would
Decent classic rock that, 50 years later though has lost a bit of its uniqueness. What's left is good music without any real highlights though
Positively surprised at first due to the combo of rock and Indian music but as the album progressed, the novelty wore off. Just a decent album, no more
Great and unusual combination of jazz and rock/pop. Couldn't stop myself from feeling relaxed and happy by the music
An album that is like a wallflower. Unspectacular, just kind of flows along like a river but in essence isn't bad. Just unremarkable both in positive and negative ways
Compared to other works of his, this was rather disappointing. The songs all sounded very very similar, also the same, basic background music and always the rather same singing. In the end not bad but for such a highly rated artist it was disappointing
Great, timeless album. Harrowing and soothing voice paired with great guitar playing. Quite liked this !
Entertaining classic rock album, not as good as some other legendary bands bit still enjoyable
Very odd album, typical late 60s and Britain. Not bad but can definitely get annoying
The definition of a 3, not bad but neither remarkable or memorable
Very interesting and unorthodox, pop sound with a very interesting edge, sounds a bit like Madonna but also not at all because way less polished and more interesting
Very typical 80s disco pop, catchy tunes but all in all just too similar to each other
Great atmosphere but hasn't necessarily aged well because what was maybe a first back then and very influential, has now, 55 years later, been done often and better
Pop with a little rocky edge, not bad but just a bit too generic. Besides the big hit, no song really stands out nor is of hit material
Conga music that focuses just a bit too much solely on the rythm to provide any but a decent but not very memorable experience
Really liked Tupacs rapping skills but the songs overall lacked a great beat and were too similar too each other. Also lacking a big standout song
Started out as decent alt rock before becoming a bit too aggressive and loud at the end. Great runtime though
Nothing revolutionary and album lacks real highlights but If you break it down it still remains a well done rock album
Even non-instrumental electronic music is still electronic music at the core: doesn't give anything at all and is rather annoying
Great album, Bruce is able to pull off just about anything. Fast paced upbeat songs as well as slower, sad pieces, it always sounds like he was born to do exactly this. A album which contains half of his greatest hits has to be a 5 star rsting
Suprisingly decent electronic album because, except for the first song, all the songs have vocals and its not as experimental as some of the 90s electronic. In essence, this reminds very much of the early 80s synth pop, so actually fairly decent, easy listening
Decent Folk-Rock that is easy listening, without any real high- nor lowlights.
Very influential and ahead of its time, however if we leave this out and purely focus on the music, then its just not more than 3 stars for me. The melodies and instrumentals are decent, could have done without many of the lyrics
Very enjoyable Folk album. Liked the celtic influences as well as their hamonies. Album got a bit weaker at the end when the songs turned slower and more sad
Solid album but nothing more. No song really stood out and in the end I didn't feel like this was a revolution or reinvented the wheel
Loud, messy, bad recording quality, hardly a song structure, an album to forget
Definition of a 3 Star album: Decent run time, enjoyable up beat music, not more, not less
Very unorthodox album, not sure I'm a fan. Typical three although closer to a 2 than a 4
A very average album that lacked any highlights and suffers from a long length and messy sounding production/recording
Surprisingly modern sounding world music album that is a bit too long
Great album with some massive hits. Liked how they reduced the funk sound which is ultimately what made the album more enjoyable to me
The epitomy of alternative/indie rock in the early 2000s. Solid songs but none stands out, feel like I've heard any of them hundred times before as part of a soundtrack to a movie or video game
Interesting to see early examples of prog rock, just a bit too unrefined for me in total
As with the majority of these ''older'' genres: Nice to hear once but thats about it
Nice playing but didn't like the length and relative similar sound of the pieces. Would have liked more themes and versatility
Yet another electronic atrocity. Weird, bad sounding background noise, lyrics that are just there to have them because for anything else they're not good enough....
Entertaining album, very easy listening, whats not to like about catchy pop/rock songs with some jazz influences
Very similar to a electronic album: beats that don't amaze paired together with redundant lyrics. Obsolete album altogether
Great easy listening album full of jolly folly songs. Hard not to like it
The Bee Gees before their trademark Discopop and Falsetto wasn't bad music but unfortunately it was severely lacking identity and something to stand out from. In the end it's not a bad album but one that is without real highlight, too long and also rather repetitive
Yet another hardcore punk album that is exactly the same and has only it's short runtime going for it
Great 1-2-3 punch at the beginning with some of their greatest hits, after that the album becomes weaker but is still very solid pop/rock that knows how to entertain
Decent R&B/Rap that doesn't really offer anything and whose addition to this list is questionable. Not bad enough for a two stars though
Solid and enjoyable album with some Britpop and 60s pop elements. I can't tell you why I like it specifically but I can tell you that I do!
Not sure why this album is groundbreaking enough to be on the list but asides from that, its certainly not bad, just also nothing remarkable either. No highlights make for a long listening
Despite it being questionable that this album is a must hear, it is a very solid and enjoyable country pop album. Could do with maybe one or two big hits but overall good
Great Album, can't help but to feel happy and in an elevated spirit when listening to those upbeat African rythms. Paul's great voice and folk style singing is the perfect bridge to make this combo easy listening
Just a very odd album, not a fan of the slow electro beats with psychodelic elements and her voice that sounds very bored but also in pain at the same time
Although its questionable if this is a must hear, it still is a very good album. This music style is the logical evolution to Taylor's early Country-Pop and she is able to create a very atmospheric experience here. No song is a masterpiece but there are a handful of 4 star songs and overall this album is, although a bit too long, a great listening experience
Not bad but for today's ears, the revolutionary and groundbreaking aspect of her music style has disappeared. A decent album without any real highlights
Pretty much like any other Ska album out there: entertaining and lightening the mood for 15-20 minutes, after that it becomes a bit too much
Decent easy listening without highlights or lowlights, nice to hear
Entertaining and very easy listening. Definitely could feel the relaxed, California-vibe. Enjoyable album although it's lacking real stand-out songs
While I appreciate the more diverse background music, I still can't get behind the "yelling" aspect of their rapping and found the frequent instrumental tracks aswell as the many short songs of 2 minutes or so rather annoying and overused
Great, easy listening album. Fast paced folk with nice harmonies and great run time, what's not to love
Starts out good but as the album progressed it became less typical Neil Young and also the songs got worse. Overall not a bad album but it left me a bit disappointed, especially right after listening to the Byrd's which is everything this album could and should have been
Not what I expected from the beach boys. Not necessarily bad but I found it just lacking that little extra something. The songs were very similar to each other and could have done with some variation
Decent album but was missing a big hit or stand out song to elevate it to 4 stars
Enjoyable album that is a great atmospheric experience. It does however lack standout songs besides Green Light and thus fails to impress me enough for 4 stars
Decent album, great combination of African Influences and vocals with some western guitar play
Like the majority of other world music albums, nice to hear for the first time and learn about it, but nothing more
Great album, has a few big hits that even today still roam the music radios. The synth pop style is not for everyone but I do like it, it puts me in a good mood and makes for an enjoyable listening
Enjoyable and diverse album with folk, pop, rock, psychodelic elements. No song really stands out but it's an overall great album
Very solid Blues Rock album with a Nonplusultra guitar play by Eric Clapton which deserves the 4 stars by itself already
What a great album. 3-4 of Bon Jovi's biggest hits are on here and the rest of the songs are also not far behind in terms of quality. 80s rock at its finest
Alternative Rock that's a bit too "hard" for me but is tolerable. Definitely seems to be "ahead" of its time, sounding more like the late 90s/early 2000s alternative rock
Good album that was carried by its dense mystical atmosphere, created by the instruments and the singing. No song really stood out but the album was an enjoyable experience
Not my cup of tea at all. Very messy and "noisy", the songs lacked structured and the vocals were more yelled than sung. All this for 60 minutes was just too much
Smooth R&B album with lots of creative influences. Not bad but could have done with probably 20 minutes less runtime
Tough to critique but I just kinda like the sound of it and the way it creates a atmosphere with the instruments.
Decent, back to basics 70s rock. good runtime but would have wished one or two more memorable songs to bump it to a 4
What a unorthodox album! Long invididual tracks that consist of hardly more than trippy & psychodelic ambiance music and about the same amount of vocals as the "Next Stop"-announcement on Public transport
Great album, combines the best aspects of Britpop with some Indie and Folk elements. Especially loved the harmonies and the catchiness of the songs
Atmospheric album that is typically Dylan although, especially lyrics wise, falls short compared to his older stuff and is way too long
What a great album! The guitar play is textbook perfect, without being too much or overshadowing the vocals.
Although it was one of the first thrash metal albums, it doesnt mean that I enjoyed it. Just a tad bit too aggressive for me and the "satanic" theme that runs through the whole album is just not something I can get behind
Does a "not-great" Simon & Garfunkel album even exist? In less than 30 minutes, those two manage to pack a vast variety of songs, some faster, some slower, some louder, some quieter, all at a high quality and always with their signature acoustic and harmony-laden sound. What's not to love?
Unfortunately this CD only contained a bunch of noise, no songs or anything else that could be called music was detected
Steely Dan are always a guarantee for good, light hearted, easy.lsitening music and this album is no difference
Unremarkable album without any highlights or anything. Textbook 3 stars that is quickly forgotten again
Standard 3 stars for me here, nice to hear and listen to for the first time but not my genre and this album doesn't change that fact either
Yet another wonderfully unorthodox and at times even weird Tom Waits album. Kudos to him for having and sticking to his own style. This album however I found a tad bit too long and lacking any stand out songs, making this album only memorable due to Waits' unique style and not due to the individual songs
Unfortunately an album that seemed very monotonous to me, every song sounded very similar and didn't have much going on
Entertaining album with a couple of standout songs. Second half of the album was weaker and could have been 10-15 minutes shorter but definitely more up my alley in terms of the faster, darker beats of the early 2000s
Dare I say typical early Beatles? Short runtime, short songs that are somewhat similar ..... But they work! It's easy listening, it's never boring or dull
Little bit too aggressive and all over the place for me, yet still not bad enough to be worse than 3
Nice to hear and be able to say "I know who Loretta Lynn is" but not.more than that
Original country music that is bookended by two great, faster songs which I liked a lot. In between there were loads of slower ballads that, despite me wishing a bit faster tempo, were still good and enjoyable
Nice sounding album however I found most of the songs to be rather similar/monotonous and paired with the very minimalist background music, it failed to leave a lasting impression
Take a slow and rather uneventful/boring genre like Bossa Nova and then inexplicably combine it with shitty electronic music and out comes this
What a great album! I knew if Billy's legend status but had never really heard anything of his music. This is how I expected and wanted Elton John's music to sound: pompous, sophisticated yet easy listening, meaningful lyrics yet catchy songs
Great and versatile rock album. Can hear lots of different influences/directions in this one, from Britpop, Blues, Folk, Country. Slightly too long but never boring
Great and enjoyable pop/r&b album. Couple of big hits, couple of other higher tempo songs, albeit a bit too long
Decent album that has some interesting sounds but overall, over the whole duration of the album, it just doesn't offer enough to justify more than being average
Great guitar play as always but the songs itself lack a real structure and are not much more than some jam sessions
Interesting combination out of some smooth R&B, some disco/funk and also some instrumentals with electric guitar. In the end of the day though not enough to warrant 4 stars
Quite an unorthodox, electronic sound, not bad but not my personal favourite. With more traditional hip hop beats, this could have been 4 stars
What an artistry! This is no ordinary hip hop album, this is a music album! Kanye is going places that I have never seen and imagined in this genre ever before! This album is proof that Kanye is just one of those guys that really can pull off anything, no matter how obscure or unorthodox the idea might be
What a fantastic album, super easy listening while never being dull, boring or simple. As always I love the guitar work of Stephen stills and them combining their voices with harmonies in the majority of the songs was the last puzzle piece that I was missing from their other albums
Unfortunately only a bit better than the Slim Shady LP. Still can't get behind the slim shady persona and it's silly, immature song topics. The more serious topics were the better songs however 2-3 good songs couldn't make up for the long runtime and a series of rather uninspiring songs
Interesting to hear such an old and early album and compare to where music has went since then
Not sure where the music in this one was.... Its just some experimental sounds with dinner table chatter in the background
Just your average, run of the mill alternative rock album without any lows or highs
Album started strong with the first three songs but afterwards fell off. The songs seemed artificially stretched by so la la instrumentals and lots of talking/whispering and overall quality went down
Decent alternative rock but without any real highlights or standout songs
Fairly standard New Wave without any highlights. If anything i found the music often to be cluttered and full with noises
While this album is full of songs that are raw, sounding the same and are hard to understand, there is just something very undeniably rock and roll about it. Hard to put it into words but the songs rock!
Typical honky tonk country, not bad to listen to over it's runtime of almost 40 minutes but offers little more than that
Surprisingly little rock but lots of instruments and "easy listening", reminded me almost of a rockier version of Steely Dan. Not bad but lacking anything outstanding or memorable
Easy listening album which gives out this naturally soothing and relaxing atmosphere. Would have preferred a little bit more diversity to push it up to 4 stars though
Not a bad album and I don't want to hate on the Beatles but especially taking into consideration the status the band and this album has, it is slightly disappointing. It's an album with good songs, thats for sure but especially 50 years later, the album just hasn't aged that well. Certainly not on par with some of the other albums that have shared the #1 spot here in the past
What a weirdly unique album. Genres and languages mixed that you don't often hear. However in the end, the big memorable thing about this album is the uniqueness, not the quality
Another of KDs albums that proves to be enjoyable with a little twist. This time the songs had a little "french"-touch to them. Interesting to hear but nothing that would prove to be a difference maker for a higher score
This album doesn't reinvent the wheel nor is it full of mega hits but the sheer raw power and emotion in Janis' voice make this album so unique and deserve the 4 stars
A throwback to the Beach boys days however it still doesn't really reach me. The pop music is relaxed and easy listening but it doesn't really grab my attention etc
Like other jazz albums, nice to hear but not really fair to compare against popular music so just a standard 3 from me
Only a few songs available on Spotify but those few seemed enough to give a representative overview. 70s Soul combined with film soundtrack, decent music, nice to hear but that's about it
Their third album is the first one that is turning into the direction of the blues rock that made them so famous. While it can not compete with their later albums such as Sticky Fingers, it still provides good entertainment, for me mainly due to the instrumentations which, although a bit noisy and messy, has good guitar sounds and solos. The vocals are a bit too messy for me
Decent late 60s rock but besides the fact that this was probably one of the first concept albums, it's nothing remarkable
Compared to other punk albums, this is definitely the most beginner friendly and softest one, with visible pop influences. However that doesn't change the fact that the music itself is still not good and memorable enough for me to justify 4 stars
Reggae from Scotland, not a combination I would have ever expected. But regardless of that novelty, it was a fairly decent album
Again an interesting time warp back to the days where our parents weren't even born yet however of course music wise it's nothing to write home about more than 60 years later
Nothing new or surprising here, funk that is good for the background but that's it
Very similar story like their other album we listened to: starts out good with nice songs and harmonies that remind you of Simon & Garfunkel or Crosby, Stills & Nash however as the album goes on, one realizes that all the songs are very similar to each other and none really stands out. Not a bad album but I can't give this more than 3 stars again
How can one listen to this kind of music and not be jolly and wishing they were in a pub, raising a toast? Hard not to be instantly put into a good spirit listening to this album and while it was a wee bit long and lacked real stand out songs, it was overall a very enjoyable album that benefitted from its range of songs, from fast paced and more punkish to slower paced ballads, it had a little bit of everything
This album very much felt like a natural progression for Joni: as time does by, she (had to?) evolve a bit away from the stripped down, guitar-only music and this album proved that she could pull it off as well. A overall enjoyable album full of nice songs that maybe have a bit less storytelling quality but make it up with ncie but subtle background arrangements
Early 2000s alternative rock with a progressive edge. Starts out quite good but at the end of the day, the rather long runtime and the fact that a lot of songs have instrumental parts or not a classic song structure prevent a higher rstingy
Krautrock sounds to me always as if one turned the "progressive" dial a little bit too far. Just a bit too weird and experimental for me
Mariah has a good voice but even though this song was a departure from her usual pop towards more R&B the album was just kinda boring. A whole hour of slow ballads that all sound the same is just not that entertaining
What a great album, as always from Simon & Garfunkel. Not sure what's not to like, over 40 minutes, the album has everything. Slow ballads, fast paced folk songs, some experiments with Latin music and some filler songs that nobody would have missed.
Similar to the Talking Heads, this is synth pop-rock that is just not quite there yet. Relatively monotonous, it's a little bit of everything but not enough in either direction. Very neutral
Similarly to the Car album, this one could have been so much more entertaining if it was a bit more diverse and upbeat. In the end it was a rather boring and monotonous experience
Yet another electronic album, this one with half songs that are heavily influenced by different genres and the other ones purely instrumental. Unfortunately none of them at a rather good level but rather annoyingly bad
Another Leonard Cohen Album that provides you with good music but this one is even more slow and minimalistic than the previous one and thus is just a little bit too boring for me
Fast paced synth pop and catchy songs, over 50 minutes the Pet Shop Boys never fail to entertain
The A Side with its 4 powerhouse songs is among the best that's out there. The B side falls off, because while the songs are pretty much the same concept, they do not work as good as the previous ones and are way too long. Nonetheless a great album, however falls short of a masterpiece
Objectively not a bad album but just wasn't for me. The combination of funky, repetitive beats and the very casual and sometimes very basic lyrics and all that for an hour only aggregated me
Classic Heavy Metal from the 90s, not my favourite genre at all but this album managed to just stay within the "hardness"-threshold I can tolerate
Actually really liked this combination, dreamy, somewhat futuristic sounds paired with the perfect voice for it. Perfect for a summer day
Elvis Costello is always good for a enjoyable album. One of the biggest surprises in this experiment, I have yet to listen to a bad album of his. While his albums are not revolutionary or groundbreaking but they are consistently filed with good songs
What a wonderfully unique goodbye from Leonard, in a way just he could have done it. Simplistic background with a Blues Touch, paired with pretty much only melodic speaking and storytelling. Great atmosphere
Really surprised by this, expected nothing but just another average rock album but this was actually great. Fast paced rock, catchy melodies and songs that make you want to listen to more
Enjoyable album, reminds me a bit of the slower songs of REM. Nothing groundbreaking but just a good combination
An album that sounds very crowded and at time a bit overwhelming due to so many rappers at the same time. Despite that, the album left me fairly neutral, nothing really positive or negative to point out
This was just too "metal" for me. Too drums-focused and noisy and too little singing/too much screaming and growling
Britpop never fails to deliver. This one is a nice, although bit too long, mix of entertaining Britpop songs with a focus on the acoustic guitar
Electronic continues to be a genre which I don't understand and fail to see the appeal in. At times 7 minutes of the same 10-20 seconds beat looped endlessly
Nice rock opera but a bit long, no songs really standing out and a story that's interesting but hard to follow
Decent album that just has a bit too much going on for me. There was something about the combination of the singing and the eclectic, progressive and at times weird sound that just made the album feel very strenuous to listen to
Quite an enjoyable indie rock album! Great opening track and also the other songs didn't disappoint but made up for a high quality experience
Entertaining and catchy pop, just like it should be! Couple of big hits, great A side, decent B side.
Decent alternative rock album, reminding me a bit of REM. Unfortunately way too long and also not memorable enough to warrant anything more than a 3
Decent early honky tonk Country music. Nice to hear once but doesn't leave a lasting impression
What a unique album. A classical suite reinterpreted and extended by a prog rock band. Fantastic sounding live album
Just not my genre and the right in your face aspect of this album specifically made it even less enjoyable for me
Nick Cave is the master of vibes. Crazy how, even in this case with just a piano and his voice, he is able to literally paint pictures with his music. No song really stood out to me but it was overall a album full of high quality songs
