Joanna NewsomThe way she sings is quite similar to Björk, and I really like Björk but in this instance I feel like it's detracting from the music immensely. I really like this project except for her vocals. It's a shame.

Love the piano on Honey, it is quite repetitive though Okay so I assume this album is gonna be very repetitive. Even though the music is quite strong I feel like the repetitiveness is gonna get annoying quite fast for me personally. I feel like I'll quite enjoy this album but not enough to where I'll actually listen to any of it by itself. I'm now at Everloving and I was right lol. Most of the songs now are fine but it's getting stale. Yeah I was really done with it for the final couple of songs. The repetitiveness works well for the first half or so and I assume they'll be fine to listen to when listened to on their own but a whole album is too much for me.
It's rock alright. It's fine but it doesn't excite me that much? Don't Let Me Down is boring. Yeah I mean it's rock alright.
I don't think I've ever listened to Faith the song or the album. It's pop that is good but I haven't heard anything yet that makes me think damn. Yeah it's fine.
Sexy What's Going On, what's not to love?
Didn't know this is the album You Make Me Feel came from. It's a great record, she's has an amazing vocal performance. I'm more of a fan of the groovy songs on here.
It's good music, just didn't necessarily click with me sadly.
Did not click with me at all. I can see how other people enjoy it though.
Great!
I love this album! A great album for a nice relaxed evening.
I'm not a huge fan of the vocals, which kind of ruin the project for me. I do like the instrumentals.
There's some songs on here that I enjoy like "Sunday Shining" and "Supreme I Preme", but the rest of it is either a bit boring or doesn't make me feel much. I hate "I Need a Lover".
Classic.
More like a 3.5 but it was a bit too same-y and for me. I can see how this could be your favourite album though!
Different from what I would usually listen to but it's fun! I don't think I'll listen to this very often though.
Very pleasantly surprised by this one, I had seen the cover of it before and thought it looked cool but never gave it a shot. Glad it showed up in the list!
I feel like it's just kind of bland.
Apparently it's supposed to sound bad, that doesn't mean I'll enjoy it because it still sounds bad. Had a good moment here and there.
Not necessarily bad, just extremely boring.
Not what I usually listen to, but thoroughly enjoyed it!
It's more of a 3.5, but the mix really bothers me enough to make it a 3 and not a 4.
Great for a nice evening!
This is really a 3.5 but it's more towards a 4 than a 3. Mostly great with some really fun moments, but I have no words for No Words.
I already knew Supermassive Black Hole, which I actually quite liked. The rest of the album is too clean and "epic" for my taste, the lyrics also do nothing for me at all so I will probably never revisit this ever.
The title track is obviously exceptional. The rest is also really good, but it never gets to that level again sadly. Still fun listen.
Perfectly serviceable first album, but nothing that stands out to me.
I'm very indifferent about this album. Although I can totally get how this can be a vibe for people, it's not for me. It's more of a 2.5, but more worthy of a 3 than a 2.
Music was fine but not a fan of the vocals. It got especially bad on Metal Postcard.
It's very close to being a 4. The first 4 tracks of the album are all amazing, then the middle is fine but nothing amazing and then it picks back up at the end. With the exception of Everything Will Be Alright that one I don't really care about.
It's actually a 3.5 but I feel like it's just not varied and engaging enough to warrant a 4. I did enjoy my time with it, however I wonder how often it will be revisited with time.
These songs are great, but the tracklist is also a bit bloated. I feel like it's right between good and great but a couple of songs could have been cut.
I obviously knew Bat Out Of Hell and Paradise By The Dashboard Light but never heard the full album. While those two tracks are definitely the standout moments, It was an overall enjoyable album.
It's a good album. It's very stripped back but beautiful. I do like Blackstar more which came out in the same year and has the same themes. Actual score is a 3.5 but it's closer to a 4 than a 3 I think.
Maybe I'm not in the right mindset for this album right now, but it's kind of like a boring Fiona Apple.
Pretty good, with some absolute standouts ("Hey Ya!" as an obvious example) but quite long and the last part of The Love Below is just not good.
I did not care for this album at all. Maybe I just don't get it yet.
Yes it's dad rock. But I enjoy dad rock so.
I've never heard of this group so to see the intro having more than half a billion streams on Spotify and a lot of other 100+ million I was quite excited to listen to it. I was sorely disappointed. The only thing that is keeping me from giving this a 1 is the instrumentation which at points is quite nice and I do like the intro.
Usually I don't like ska but... I still don't. This album was a slog to get through. I think I just don't like ska.
Loved Dirge. I loved the instrumentals, though the vocal performances did ruin some songs. The back half is not as interesting as the front half.
It's fine. Very inoffensive but nothing that stood out.
Skiba bedepaboo jazz
The first album where I was genuinely debating if I should give it a 1. I absolutely cannot stand the vocals here. I'm sure it was very influential for its time and it's amazing if you're really into the genre, but it's sadly not for me.
If you took hip hop and reduce it for a couple of hours this album would be the result.
The first half had some pretty decent songs in it. I really liked the opener Terrapin, but after Octopus it went downhill really quickly with If It's in You being the worst offender.
I was ready to hate this album after the first 4 songs. Luckily, after that the songs got better and overall I did enjoy the rest of it.
More of a 3.5. On Some Faraway Beach is beautiful.
Fun album!
Not bad, just proper bland.
The Beastie Boys are just not for me. I see the influence and I don't hate their songs, just their rapping style is not for me.
Not for me.
The way she sings is quite similar to Björk, and I really like Björk but in this instance I feel like it's detracting from the music immensely. I really like this project except for her vocals. It's a shame.
It wasn't unpleasant to listen to, just quite boring and I'm not really sure what this is doing on this list but maybe that is my ignorance talking.
I can tell it's good, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped I would. It's a 4 because it's a classic but it's somewhere between a 3 and a 4 for me.
This is far from terrible but I don't really get it's placement on the list. The songs are all 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦 but apart from Mystery there wasn't another song that I thought was great.
I get why people hate U2 now. This is truly awful. Not a single redeemable track.
3.5. I've only listened to The Bends fully and a bit of Pablo Honey and A Moon Shaped Pool. I did quite enjoy The Bends but I haven't quite connected with their other material. This album is quite hit or miss.
The first U2 album I heard, it's pretty good. Probably won't revisit it though.
