Very nearly landed on this as my own submission, so I'm glad someone else had the same idea. Top 10 album of all time

I think I like Panopticon a bit more. 3.5/5
This band really blossomed on this one, kind of crazy this killed their momentum in the west cause it's good. I still hear Tomorrow on the radio, but never even The Greatest View. Cool discovery 3.5/5

Better than the one on the main list!

I had listened to this back in 2022 and had only given it a 2.5, which feels quite wrong given how much I've been loving 2000s mall emo lately (not to mention how influential this album is + I love Crisis and Watch Out! from this band as well). I think my initial 2.5 was a bit harsh, but I can still see why I would've given it that. I think this band found their footing more on later releases (and the spoken word bits are...), but I guess their debut has such a following for a reason. Also, one of the most iconic album covers in emo.
It's an interesting pick. My impression was that this record was generally not very well-received, but conceptually a Talking Heads album with no Byrne and a myriad of guest vocalists is at least interesting. And there are quite a few pretty cool tracks here. It just sort of nosedives in the second half starting with Don't Take My Kindness for Weakness. There's definitely a share of clunkers here, but still a pretty worthwhile listen.

I've loved Your Ex-Lover Is Dead for years, but never listened to the album till now--glad I did, this is great!
I respect this pick because it very well could have been one of those 80s industrial albums featured on the main list only to end up in the bottom 20 on the website (and I don't mean that as shade because I actually like Kollaps, Opus Dei, Duck Stab, Throbbing Gristle, etc.) 3.5/5
I love this album cover, and the music was quite good too. This band has been on my radar for awhile, so good to listen to this one. Also put Everything Goes Numb on right after just for fun (I think I liked this one more though). 3.5/5

She had a lot of enduring bangers on this album, damn. 3.5/5

Back-to-back late 90s electronic albums with one big hit that offers a very distinct sound that I was unsure how would translate into a full album, and then I ended up quite liking the album (A3 Exile on Coldharbor Lane yesterday). 3.5/5

Didn't think I'd like this cause I don't really like the one song I know by them (Pub Feed), but it was actually pretty fun listen. 3.5/5
Idk, I guess one of my biggest music nerd hot takes is that I've just never gotten this album. And it's not that I'm trying to be contrarian or that I haven't given it a fair shot--I see why people like it, and I have tried multiple times to get into it and I just can't. Maybe F#A# (infinity) would do me better? I haven't heard that one yet
Knife Man >> but nice to see folk punk representation anyway

I have lived in Canada for almost 4 years now, and in that time I have listened to enough CanCon rock radio to learn that I just do not care much for The Tragically Hip. That said, I did end up enjoying this album more than I expected, if only by a little bit.
Figures this would have such a low score here. But it is very cool and maybe the most accessible I've found Arca. 3.5/5

Learned that I liked this album a lot more than I thought I did. Oblivion especially grew a lot on me re-listening to it here. 3.5/5
This is some landfill ass indie, but not necessarily bad in its execution, just pretty unexceptional. Kinda nostalgic for this stuff anyway
Took awhile for me to get into this, but I did quite like it. Kind of crazy that most of these songs are 100 years old now. 3.5/5
Not sure if it's this particular album or that I can only enjoy this band in small doses, but I just wasn't really rocking with this one. Shame cause I love Dakota, Maybe Tomorrow, Pick a Part That's New, but I just found his voice grating not too far into this album and never really recovered. 2.5/5

Pretty cool discovery. 3.5/5
As a native Mobile (a city that claims Buffett very strongly, even though he's not even from there), I've always had an affinity for the guy, and even a little nostalgia these days. I was a little surprised to not know a single song from this one, and it didn't quite have the beachy vibes in spades like I would expect. Not my usual listening material, but I can't say I dislike it
This one has been fairly high on my planning list for quite awhile, so I'm glad that getting it here forced me to finally listen to it. I was kind of expecting it to be more in the 4.5-5 territory, but ultimately a lot of the songs just went on too long for me to say that I liked it THAT much. Still, an all-timer game soundtrack for sure just in its uniqueness and vibes.
Extremely 2011. 2.5/5

Wasn't sure about this one at first, but I grew to really like it by the end! That's why I like the user submitted list, gets me to listen to things that weren't on my radar (and in some cases, if they were I probably wouldn't have been interested), and finding surprising discoveries from it. 3.5/5
I can see why this isn't the most well-regarded DM record given what they would go on to do, but it's still a really fun little new wave album! New wave can be fun! 3.5/5

Honestly, I didn't really think I was a big fan of hers, but this album was lovely. Some really impressive compositions. 3.5/5
I think Darkside are cool and have good songs, but I have yet to hear an album from them that I've been able to keep up with all the way through. 3.5/5

Whoever sent this is based and this absolutely does not deserve to be in the bottom 20 user albums of all time. Absolutely essential vaporwave record.
Up to Here was fine, but this one really convinced me that The Tragically Hip are a lot better than I've given them credit for. Very good record. 3.5/5

Loved this album back when it was new, but probably haven't relistened to it since (except for Runnin Out of Luck which is a GOATed song). Relistened just now. It's pretty good 3.5/5

There's already so many albums by The Who on the main list, I don't know if I can COMPLAIN that this one isn't there but...it is their best one, so it definitely should be.
I like this much more than their self-titled tbqh (but I do wonder if I should revisit that one too cause I feel like I *should* like it more)
I don't think there's another album that I know like the back of my hand as much as this one. Would've considered submitting myself

Getting this, The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me, and Untrue in the space of 10 days is wild cause they're all in my top 10 albums of all time probably. Thanks for sending this
