Mott
Mott The HoopleAlways a fan of this group!! Not an album I had heard ..Loved it!
Always a fan of this group!! Not an album I had heard ..Loved it!
I Really liked the lyrics and the beat box sound and music and was pleasantly surprised that it was not "Rap" music...but the spoken word parts were like poetry...it was beautiful.....<3
Awful noise….Just no…
I loved punk rock in the 80’s but this I found the lyrics boring as well as the music itself
I loved this albumn!! Rich tones, delightful melodies and great lyrics. I’d forgotten that I’d heard them in the past and was Most Grateful to reconnect with their music!!
Sorry, not sorry but not a fan…. I felt yelled at… and please understand I loved punk rock in the 80’s… but this just was just not something I enjoyed. I listened to 3 songs… I couldn’t take any more…
Love ❤️ this whole album!! Every sing is a Gem 💎!!
I love ❤️ listening to the Stones… they’re Great in concert according to friends( I’ve never been). This is an earlier album and I feel they were desperately trying to “Americanize” their music…
Did not like this at All… grated on my nerves and created anxiety
Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful!! Ella Fitzgerald could sing the phone book and it would be Epic!! A voice of the Ages!! George Gershwin was an Incredible song writing Genius!! Hearing Ella sing his works was A Breath of Fresh Air…. I would give it 10 or 20 stars!!⭐️ Musical 🎶 Theater at its Finest!!
I liked it, not loved it but the music and lyrics were rich and full and I enjoyed most of the rhythms. I would've given it 5 stars but after 1/2 of the album it started feeling repetitive.
Not my favorite album of theirs but I’ve always loved XTC… Dear God is Epic!!
This is classic Bluegrass at its Finest. For those folks who are music history buffs you need to understand that this music came from RURAL America, not big city….it moved slowly thru minstrel shows, religious revival la, family reunions and brought small communities together to create and celebrate what was happening in Their lives. Where it came from??it started out with roots in gospel, blues, folk, country music in the southern states and it moved to the Heartland of the Midwest where I grew up in Kansas. There is a National Bluegrass Festival in Winfield, KS every year and a Huge number of these individual musical artists also perform at the Yearly at the American Folk Alliance Festival in Kansas City which goes on for se real days…KC hosted the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band as did Lawrence, KS and other college towns in the 70’s and 80’s. I know Bluegrass is not everyone’s cup of tea but it started a movement during the early 1900’s !!
ok, I gotta say...I had never listened to them previously. If I had listened to them in the 90's early 00's by review might be different. Not a fan. Loud, poor chord transitions and many of the songs sounded similar and yet others didn't seem to fit the others...a mish mash of songs, sounds, instruments, lyrics....I gave it a 3 only because the group has done songs, per friends of mine that enjoy them that are better....otherwise I would've given it 2 stars.
This album was controversial when it came out bc of apartheid in South Africa. What many do Not understand is that apartheid prevented South African black society from earning money from All jobs that’s the downside of sanctions of any kind. Paul Simon actually did a very Brave thing… he sought out South African musicians and he gave them work. He paid them and gave them credits on the album…it is a wonderful reminder of how music crosses All boundaries and divisions and ignites the souls of All it touches!!
I didn’t know until it finished that it was from the Byrd’s singer!! It was delightful!!
Very very dark, lyrics… I do not like horror stories these lyrics echo them…
I love Jazz… just found it a bit slow and felt it needed more vocals
I was actually amazed that I liked several vs of the songs and the beats. I’m not a prude about language and swear words, I drop plenty of F bombs of my own. That said swearing, every other word just to swear, not a fan…. I know that this is just one sample of Missy Elliott’s work, so gave it 3 stars for that.
I know that this man was a Huge symbol for many future rappers and that his style of rap has been used by Many famous current Rap and Hip Hop artists….he deserves their praises and the honors they bestow upon his memory. May he Rest in Power….this is just not music I listen to or have been exposed to…not my jam but mean no disrespect…
An older and a goodie! It transcends time. I love it!
One of the Greatest albums of All time!! Love it !!
WOW 🤩 just WoW to hear an Iconic Album with Incredible riffs, lyrics a that smooth rich sultry voice of Grace Slick…. I’m still on a high just hearing This album!!
Loved the beats on this one!! I danced in the kitchen while I was cooking it was heaven!!
This may be for some ..but definitely NOT for me….put in on to take my shower, normally a calming wake up experience turned into shrill, anxiety ridden followed by high agitation levels…This album is as bad as fingernails on a Chaulk board….Noise, not music…. you have to give 1 star to vote.. or I would have given a negative number….dimply awful, I feel as though my ears are bleeding..
An Epic and Iconic Classic…loved it
I liked it a lot… very good punk !!
Love ❤️ Jazz.., this instrumental experimental was fantastic!!
An older album of theirs… I liked their later stuff better because the lyrics improved greatly. The songs on this album I liked were more instrumental and less angry!!
Excellent work!! Loved this album!
Loved 🥰 this album
It was great! I have friends that love them… can’t say I’d ever listened to them before!
Not a fan, just not… I tried I really did but for me it was a nails on the Chaulk board experience….NO, Just NO… but to each their own…
Lyrics, music, the total package… the voice…I Love it All !! I am a Senior Swiftie NOW!!
It was loud and the lyrics & music were just meh for me
Not a fan…sorry/not sorry… not into rap music in general… just not my style…I had to give it 1 star to vote. In truth I would give it Zero stars… if I want “nails on the chaulk board” perhaps but that is annoyingly Awful and hurts my eardrums which start to bleed after just the few seconds of this ….
Classic sexy, wonderful honey coated music and lyrics. Marvin Gaye was Epic and Ine of the Very Best smooth jazz/blues/Motown Sound!!
Big lover of Till Tuesday…. Really enjoyed hearing her incredible vocals and lyrics… now, I just wanna hear more!!
Had never heard of them and I loved their sound and song lyrics. Always love hearing a band or individual I’m not heard and enjoy listening too!!
I Love ❤️ Van Halen!! Eddie Van Halen is IMHO one of the top 5 greatest guitar players of ALL time!!
I LOVE ❤️ The Pretenders!!! I could listen to Chrissy Hynde sing All day long….my fantasy trio would be Chrissy, Annie Lennox and Brandi Carlile!!
In college, I dated a guy who was Totally into Punk Rock, so I grew to love it in the late 70’s early 80’s. I think of Iggy Pop as the grandfather of Punk Rock… I attribute him being who launched the genre whether that’s true or not and so think his work is Genius!!
I had never heard of the group, u til I listened to this. Then magical realized that I’d heard them on the radio as a young girl at the swimming pool! That my high school babysitters played some of their songs!! Thoroughly enjoyable music!!
If you’re could have given Zero stars, I would have…nails on a chalkboard!!
Quintessential Johnny Cadh…what’s not to love??? ❤️ ❤️❤️
Quintessential Allman brothers. While I love jamming and it Was great they could’ve easily trimmed 5 min off each of them for my personal taste. But Duane All an is in my top 5 guitarists of all time!!
Not a fan…..at all…
Love love love John Prine…a legend of epic songwriting lyrics, great music for decades. He has been greatly missed since he passed
Old Metallica…some of the songs I have always liked, some not so much..
I Really liked the lyrics and the beat box sound and music and was pleasantly surprised that it was not "Rap" music...but the spoken word parts were like poetry...it was beautiful.....<3
Not my thing. Kinda jangling on my nerves…
EPIC and Awesome…anything and Every single thing he sang or wrote gives me goose bumps of JOY 🤩!! Love ❤️ Michael Jackson!! RIP

Awful noise….Just no…
Have Always Loved them…Always Will!!
Normally don’t care for rap but this had actual Music!! 🎶 loved it!!
Incredible voice and lyrics…Always!!
Loud screaming and banging… equals loss of vocal cords eventually and nails in the chalk board, no thanks…
Nice melodies just so so
Liked it but didn’t love it
If completely forgotten I’d even heard of them!! Then one of their “radio” play songs came on… overall I enjoyed this album a lot!
Always a fan of this group!! Not an album I had heard ..Loved it!
Great solo album from George Harrison… beautiful album

Had never heard it and loved it!
Had never heard of him… loved the album!
Great album loved it!!
Will always love ❤️ them… I think a lot about wondering what kind of music they or her alone would’ve made, Cass ElliotttgT is…
Forced to give 1 star to vote. Do NOT like Kanye or Ye…he needs to get help Mental Health care…. He’s a hot mess…
One of my favorite albums of ALL time!! Loved it!! Love it a million times over!!
I have LOVED Dire Straights since they first came out with an album....this was a Great one!!
I prefer singing 🎶 to screaming 😱 so Just No on this album…
Had never heard this album...loved it. Eric Clapton is one of the greatest guitar players of all time and this is a magnificent version of him and John Mayall is perfection!
The break out initial Classic U2 Album hits my sentimental side as do many albums from several decades ago. One begins to recount all the memories and people i that time period....This album had so many Big hits and so many of the songs on this album got incredible airplay here in the US from this band from Ireland and the UK...I even believe at one point they were labeled as the "new Beatles" in terms of popularity "across the pond"...I Have Always loved U2 and this particular album brings back the Most of what I long for from them......I would give it 20 stars if I could.....
Classic Doors… losing Jim Morrison so young was such a loss that we’ll Never know what they could’ve become, sadly…
Never heard it before but I liked some of the songs but not all of them.
Never heard them before and really enjoyed this album!
Have Always Loved the Who… sn iconic album!
Great Iconic album!!
While I like the idea of playing popular music with the instruments used in typical Indian music for me it just doesn’t work….. I prefer to listen to 70’s Classic Ravi Shankar
A Truly iconic and Wonderful Album from my Past!! Love ❤️ the Go-Go’s!!
