Black Holes and Revelations

Mid
Everything is perfect. The voice is too much annoying at first, but you just need to follow the mood 9-10/10
🔥
Instrumental: 🔥 Lyrics: kinda cool
9/10 Incredible with a lot of catchy tunes. Kanye use a lot of pop sounds, as he did previously, but with a more impressive sounds. It seems like a testament for the hip-hop/pop culture. Maybe too much mainstream and not revolutionary, but this album managed to revive Kanye's destroyed career and make it more important and louder than before. In conclusion a solid pop album with a lot of artist and a bunch of contamination making it a perfect album but without that something extra
Something new for me Ahead of the times/predecessor of modern hip hop
7/10
Not my shit Still a good and complete album tath create a genre
Incredibile
Free, concise and full of poetics Iconic asf 10/10
Incredibile, ahead of the times. The flow and the beats are gorgeous. 8/10
We can call him the "denigger". It takes black music, puts a white face on it and sells a lot without doing anything
Maybe too young for some tracks, but still beautiful and incredible
8/10
Not created to be an album Unlistenable in digital, must be incredible in live at a pub
A solid and cool record 7/10
7/10 Kinda mid
A really cool art rock album with sonority that I found on recent indie lp
Incredibile 8/10
I don't like it so much, I don't really know why 5.5
Nigga 🔥
A commercial and super American rock album. Fucking hate it. He's aged like an apple (not so well).
Not my genre
Naaaaah. The beats are really cool, but not the flow and the lyrics because it seems to take itself too seriously and ends up being cringe
Babe, wake up!! 🗣️🗣️ Rich white people ruined jazz
Cool, just cool
Erm, what the sigma??
Cool and relaxing album, but all the songs are the same
A modern blues album. All the songs have a similar structure which perfectly reflects that of Blues: that's the only problem that I found on this album. It doesn't really add anything to Blues, it just try to bring it in the present and sometimes it feels like there isn't real creativity behind it. The Camino, despite being more mainstream, is more original and the songs haven't the same structure. Still 🔥 by the way
Overrated as fuck
A grunge classic Back in the days it would be fire
Good for being a glam-rock album I FUCKING HATE GLAM ROCK 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The cover of other songs are just that songs, but with a rock filter and they don't have a Metallica style (It seems they didn't want to dare). In the others songs the orchestra don't fit so much, needed more study
Grandpa is fire 🔥🔥🔥
Fire nigga
Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. That's bad. If the first song had been 10 minutes or a little longer it would have been perfect, but you have to be sophisticated and make it 20 minutes long.
Very good album, only hits
At first I really liked it. Didn't really understood the curch-like part, need a relisten. The lyrics are incredible and with a few words he can depicts an incredible story
Nothing special, maybe I need to relisten
It doesn't have any major flaws, but it still doesn't appeal to me too much. The second half is much better than the first
Yoooo, shit is fire
No way this is the first album of the Who that you suggests, I'm not going to listen to a live album
The best jazz album I've ever listen
Damn
Drum and bass songs are a remix of the same tune
Few songs were weak and They didn't seem to be made for an album, but more as background music at the bar. The others were amazing, full of energy.
I'm here to find new albums, not the ABBA album. Maybe I'm just narrow minded
Not here to listen live album, stuff to do🤓🏌️♂️🐴😍🐽💙🦘🖌️➰🎙️🇪🇷🇨🇾🔊🔊⏲️🕒🚍🛻⚛️🚧😷🛁💵😏⛴️♊
An instrumental album not hard to hear. Perfect
Indie.exe The bad points are way more than the cool ones
I hate the sound of the pop of the 80s
Chill trip hop electronic lp
Lame A pop punk record were all the songs are the same. The voice comes first over the band, but the lyrics are stupid and not interesting. For middle school girls of others decade. That's shit. I don't even heard the "word"
Maybe too much sexy
Maybe too long 8/10
Uallalu!!!
Mid
Never seen so much filler in an album Bon Scott died on this shit
Chill, maybe too long
I don't like the Rolling Stones
The background of the album it's funny The production incredible in some tracks as well as the lyrics
Mid The instrumental is good 👍😊
The fuck
I hate this man
Strage for a mainstream album to be so revolutionary with a real call to protest, even violently. Tom Morello goat as well as the voice, so iconic After some song it begun to be repetitive 7/10
A nice listen
I can't stand for yacht rock. For me it's just mid 70's music for people who say that after the 70's music is dead Dropped.
At some point the songs are the same track with a different lyric, but it could be just me that I don't appreciate the genre
I don't like reggae
Absurd It brings on the table so much things: it's revolutionary, funny, stupid and go on
I don't get it I guess. He try to be innovative and strange, but it doesn't work well resulting boring. Some songs are cool, but I wouldn't relisten this album
9/10 Almost all of the songs are perfect, but I don't see the vision of the album. It seems to me more like a mixtape
Millennials were right
Everything is fire. Every song are important as the others and I didn't find the hit that carries the album. All is perfectly belanced
So much influences for a single album and all mixed perfectly together. Production is peak as well as lyrics. Maybe too long because some song were a little weak 9/10
7/10
Unconventional and strange, I think 7.5-8/10
A good listen, catchy and groovy
I preferred the first one, still ok with great songs. 7-8/10. With a relisten it will get higher for sure
Wasn't really thrilled about this one, and the intro didn't really helped. But by the second one to the end I discovered an incredible album and avant-garde. Sounds that I never listened in '60s music except for the monks. One of the best tack for me it's "jesus" because it precedes the slightly more emo punk of the 90s for the themes 8-9/10
Everything is perfect. The voice is too much annoying at first, but you just need to follow the mood 9-10/10
You lost it from the cover
I preferred black star
Really appreciate the change of the style in the first part of the album with a more rock and punk approach beyond the usual glam-rock. The third instrumental track was unnecessary and the outro was weak. But the rest is incredible. 8-9/10
So, the production it's fantastic and well served. The lyrics are stupid, ridiculous, exaggerated and grotesque. Seems like the fought you have as a kid when you are angry. Perfect for the theme of the project. Also the sounds and the verses that Slim does are hilarious. The problems of the album are the repetitivity of the lyrics and the fact that the voice of Eminem is fucking annoying
Just listen to the short of Spotify: nothing new, just another annoying Stones lp. Drop
The first three songs are a bit too "dad rock", although very beautiful, nothing really new in their discography. Stairway to heaven is overrated and last one are really good. Not my favourite led Zeppelin album, I should listen to it again 7-8/10
Meh
Too much classic rock for me, from the voice to the style. Nothing is really new, but still well served
A lost chance. The guitar game was amazing, but the voice on the first tracks and the last sounds like a Nickelodeon high school band, super commercial, without being it. "Don't" is amazing by the way, it carries the album 7/10
The nightclub rave music structure that all the songs have (the moment of silence in the middle and then the song restart) is a little annoying. But overall I really appreciate this record and the innovation that it brings to rave music
It sounds mainstream, I don't know how to explain it. Ant the sounds get repetitive after few tracks. Anyway is ok
I listen to the intro: "WOW, this album isn't a disappointment like the others. A new sound and a lot of experimentations" The second track starts: I get disappointed. Just a blues album, nothing more and nothing less. Sympathy of devil really catfished me. I dunno, maybe a 5/10
No way that the tubular bells sound so shitty, I waited 20 minutes to listen to them. The weakest part of the project are the two singles.
Suggestive instrumentals that brings you in an another world
A good listen, especially as background music
Morrissey
Still underrated, I don't know how this can be possible
Fun and innovative. The voice is a little annoying
Eh?
Q-Tip told this about Nas: "Just from when you heard Nas initially, you knew he was ill. When I first heard him rhyme, I knew he was ill. Everybody knew he was ill. But I told Faith, “You guys got somebody special.” Because he has vulnerability in his rhymes. A lot of niggas who MC, you don’t hear the vulnerability. He keeps it relatable, but he has a lot of depth. He can keep it gangsta, he can keep it educated, he can keep it thoughtful. He can tell you that he’s the shit, & he can tell you when he fucks up. And that’s what makes Nas endearing to everybody."
Overall is mid, but few songs are really catchy
Sounds old
It seems like a playlist, didn't find an artistic idea, but a mashup of different band songs in a single album
