If S&G BOTW is a 1 this is a 2. Theyre not as haed aa megadeth, 1 decent track (one) and a few nodders but its no black album and ik still bitter i lost that vhs of the one music video i got from that car booty in the shadow of argyles ground in 94.

More absolute waffle. I'm sure this had its place in every post grads CD rack in the mid 90s but it's just noise. The CD case was inevitably used to rack up lines of cheap coke on the low mahogany coffee table in the living room.

Only the second album so far with a good song on it. This is more like it, an album I would happily come back and listen to again any day. First time listening to this front to back and it's great, full of energy. Basically a good radiohead aren't they.

Weird album this one, not a bad one but a bit samey. Deffo a vibes thing because I've never been a fan of REM really, seem like the Coldplay of the 80s in the sense that everyone knows who they are but can't remember which song it is they know and which album it was.

Some decent guitar stuff going on early on but just generally another Meh. I can imagine this type of band were ten a penny early 90s and RHCP won that race.
Also Fuck been caught stealing because the dogs barking at the beginning set Polly off and took ages to chill her out.
This was a tough listen, basically just music you'd expect to play in snippets in a lift. Either koffis finger slipped and he added this by accident, or koffi isn't anything to do with this and it's really the penguin cafe orchestra behind it all. I'm not sure which one of those 2 I'm least happy with.

Considering I'm a fan of the smiths this is a bit shit by their standards, not a lot happens and I won't go back to it. It's undoubtedly got the smiths style so it's at least got that going for it. Light to mid 2.

The whole album is just one continuous blurb, hard to tell when one song stops and the next starts. I assume this album was the end for the xx. I remember enjoying the first album at the time because it was something different, their sound is just tired though at this point and I didn't enjoy any of it. I was today years old though when I found out that Jamie xx is Jamie from the xx though. Everyday is a school day. Mid 1.

These tracks sound great, love the style and it's an album I reckon I could go back to. It's an album that doesn't affend the ears and gets the hips moving, not sure how this compares against other albums in it's genre so let's see what koffi delivers. Low 3.

Jesus christ, thank god that's over with. Took me 3 attempts to finish this album, a hard graft with lots of teeth gritting. I always thought I liked prince but thats based on that video of him shredding while my guitar gently weeps. Now I've had to sit through 1 hour 10 minutes of that I'm not sure I do like him as much as I thought. Sounds like a teenager who's just discovered how to use a synthesiser while refusing to sing directly into the microphone. Can't understand a word he's saying half the time and the other half is him basically having a wank with porn on the background. Mid 1.

This album is nowhere near as good as I see to think it was, maybe it's just not aged well. Starts strong and just fades away, although his band actually go a better job than him keeping the album alive for longer than it should. Mad that this bloke was once seen as the king of the goths, listening back it after all these years it's not even that heavy. Low 3.

Jarring and grating music this, abrasive and offensive on my ears in some parts. Not a fan, won't be back here. They should strap people that torture animals to chairs and make them listen to this album on repeat. That being said it's still at least twice as good as Travis so it's scraping a low 2.

I missed the whole moby dick sucking phase, to me he was just some nerd who made music in his bedroom who eminem used to take the piss out of. Some decent tracks on here, deffo well known but also some nothing songs on here that you could just skip past. A mid 3.

A load of solid tracks on here, guessing he was heavy on the weed when he written that reggae number and paranoia blues. Much better than bridge over trouble water, he was well better without that other prick. High 3.

Starts strong, great vibe to it and some bangers swear I've heard that bottle of smoke somewhere before. Either way it's a great track. Starts to tail off massively towards the end, culminating in an absolute butchering of South Australia, give me the fisherman's friends version any day. Just about scrapes a low 4.

Koffi delivered a banger, always a pleasure to come back round to this. Hit after hit, such a raw and gritty sound to this which you just don't get anymore. East Coast hip hop at its finest. Mid 5.
This just sounds like a watered down foals album, lead singer voice doesn't go with the rest of the sound of the band. Very inoffensive album but it's also makes it wishy washy. Firdt time hearing wild beasts and I won't be rushing back. Mid 2.

Generally a fantastic album, sabotage alone secures this as a 4 along with some other great tracks in here. There's a bit of experimental stuff going on in here that although good, stopped this being great. Maybe I have the bias of listening to lonely island as much as beastie boys which has warped me. High 4.
Never heard of Billie holiday other than pac rapping about her in thugz mansion and I get it now. Nice vibe to it, very vintage and you can tell this was recorded in 58. The album has almost Christmassy vibe which is apt considering we're in December, I won't visit it again but glad I passed through this town. Mid 3.

Koffi dropping bombs here. Remember going through my dad's CD collection when I was like 11 and picking this out based purely on the cool guitar on the front, listened to it and my tiny mind was blown. Every tune is a banger here, weakest is rife across the river and still a great track. Last track is my favourite here by a mile, something about them face melting little stardrops after each line get the feels going. High 5.

Why do the jam sound like there's no lead singing and it's all backing vocals. Raise your fucking voice Paul. That being said still a solid album, some well know songs on there and a decent vibe. This is basically the 1980 version of Metallica and justice for all, high 3.

I listened to this album while my blood alcohol content was around 75% baileys but from what I remember, it started strong then just faded a bit. Another solid album from the met but reminds me of slipknots later stuff, OK with some good songs that end up being the singles. Stopped just short of creeping into a 4 because I won't be going back to it. Very high 3.

Some interesting concepts in this album, mainly regarding Stevie being coy about putting a finite distance on the location of heaven. 10 zillion light years is a made up number so I'd love to see your working out if I'm honest lad. You could have just says a zillion as they're still illegitimate mathematical terms. You saying if we got some fancy gravity drive we could actually warp there? Get a grip lad you can't even get on the 14c to the big asda without someome helping you.
In terms of the actual album though, gets better as it goes on. It ain't no use and they won't go when I go are stand outs. Lifts it from a 2 into 3 territory. Also some interesting album artwork. Low 3.

Give this a 6. It's the Beatles init and anyone who says they don't like the Beatles is a crab. Blackbird is probably my favourite song ever, between that and yesterday anyway because they were the first songs I properly leant on guitar. After listening to the Beatles anthologys it gave me a new respect for some of the lesser tracks on here. This is a beast, inject it into my veins high 5.

Absolute mayhem this album, not having that it was recorded in 2010. It's the most early 70s thing I've ever heard so it hits the brief of being a psychedelic sounds mash. Maddest thing about this is that they seem to have brought their pet pigeon along to the recording, and also the siren off the ghost buster car. They're included in every single track, mental. Still a decent listen though. Mid 3.

I done the majority of my goosing to this album in 2008, primarily in a travel lodge in Warrington because we were both living at our mars. You know most of the songs on this album whether you like to admit it or not, that being said I literally had to skip SOF and use somebody because they've been overplayed and so saturated at this point. Is it a high 4 or a low 5? Fuck it low 5 because of all the goosing.
Bloody loved this, only really listened to NCATBS individual tracks and with them being spread across such a long time they all sound great but so different. Solid 2 disk album some bangers on here. Only not getting a 5 because although it's fantastic I can't see me coming back and listening to it again. High 4.
This is very good but not great. It's still very much the national but I just compare this to trouble will find me which was my first exposure to TN and it doesn't quite match up IMO. Still Mid 4.

I think I've always been more of a led/acdc fan than the stones so this album just all felt a bit watered down. I assume it was a high flyer and groundbreaking at the time but I don't think I'll come back for another listen. High 3.

Sound of my school life basically, this, 3001 and slipknots debut album probably. I do prefer the slim shady lp but this is still iconic. Everything this lad touched turned to gold for years but shame he's still peddling the same sound now 25 years later when raps moved on. High 5.

After only ever listening to probably 3 cypress hills songs in my life I've realised all of their songs sound the same. That's not a bad thing but hard to tell them apart on this album. Still decent and I can imagine this slapped when it dropped early 90s. Low 4.
I wanted to hate this I really did. Between the album cover keeping top shop afloat for a decade or the big 3 songs making GNR the Coldplay of 1987 I had judged this album being it even started. I actually enjoyed it. There I said it. I wouldn't listen again but it's a high 4.
