It was my first time listening to a Morrissey album all the way through. I really enjoyed it. I was listening while I was doing chores around the house and honestly couldn't step away from it until it was finished. I'm inspired to listen to more of their discog.
This album is such an amazing time capsule for Bowie and the rocketship he was boarding.
What is there not to say! Perfect album
Rock and Roll at its Finest
one of my favorite albums of all time.
An absolute classic. No words needed, just listen.
Never heard this album before. Janis is fantastic and the vibe rock but it's not one that I'll find myself going back to any time soon but if I stumble on it, I'd listen again gladly.
I had not listened to this album before. Solid 60s vibes.
Another album and band I had never heard of. Loved it! Reminded me of parquet courts is some weird way.
An interesting album, I get some serious DMB vibes from this and I've never been the biggest fan of DMB or Pearljam but it's not bad.
I listened to this album in a grey November but I can't wait to listen on a sunny June!
Classic, everyone should listen.
I hadn't listened to metal, like real metal in a long time. This was fun to throw back to. I had never listened to this album or artist before.
Another artist I had not heard of and a progenitor to Alanis Morissette was an interesting discovery.
Vow and Only Happens when it Rains. I feel like I remember hearing my older sisters listen to this album.
Another album and artist *be never listened too. I enjoyed the vibes.
New Artist! A lot of history with Julian Cope. I'll be interested to look through and listen to other bands he was connected with. Really enjoyed this album, the composition was really viby and I emjoy the british of all of it.
90s electronica, another artist that's new to me. I was able to enjoy the vibe it cast while I was working.
Another example where I've heard a song or two but never listened to the whole album. I really enjoyed it. I've always enjoyed the Doors but this was a fresh take.
Honestly, some historic beats. This was one of my first rap album I listened to, alongside NWA's Straight Outta Compton. Though, after listening to this 15+ years later. The way they treat and talk about women, is cringe.
Chill classic rock album. I am sure that is has some historical significance, it's lost on me. My father listed to a lot of ZZ Top and I have a few of their vinyls but this one is just alright.
Love me some British sounding vibes
I don't think there's a Prince album so far that isn't groovy as hell.
Back in the day, we all listened to some Korn. My roommate in college was actually his cousin, so he says. Not my vibe any longer.
Short and classic. Peg is great!
Was not expecting that it was recorded live, which was so cool. A real slice of 1950's. Listening to her be so raw was refreshing. I haven't often listened to the recordings of people addressing the crowd for event recordings. It must have been different then. I had also not heard of Sarah Vaughan, I am glad that it no longer true.
I really enjoy this era of music. There's something so honest about how Louis scats along with the brass and brings the tempo to a pulse that makes your hips and feet want to dance.
Greatest album of all time. Totally bias. I love this album. Guns N' Rosea has been my favorite band since I can remember.
I remember listening to this when the remaster came out. It was my first listen of Brian Wilson.
All the classics in one spot.
Classic. Sick beats and the vibe is great, I've outgrown it though.
Damn, this is a beautiful album and even more tragic is the story behine Tim Buckley.
I don't know how I've gone this long and not listened to this album. So much variations, it's interesting listening to this after some of the other Rap albums that have been on my list. The evolution and difference is stark. I could relisten to this more often than the others.
A real banger! Short and sweet!
There's no better album to listen to during our current state of the world. They wanted to rebel against it all in 1979 and burn it all down. Similar vibes now. I hope punk comes back.
Wasn't expecting an album like this. I really liked the vibe, had a dream like quality to it. I don't think I would put it as a must listen but glad I didn.
A fantastic 1994 album. Incredibly sad but powerful.
Damn, this album ripped. Loved it!
Werid album name. Weirder Album Art. I had never heard of this band before. Some solid 80s vibes.
Really interesting history around Roxy Music. The vibes were there and can understand how this album left an impression on the decades following.
This album feels like it could have come out in the late 2010's. Has a very classic indie pop-rock feel that was an unknown formula I hadn't known so many bands I like have been utilizing.
It has some vibes but not something i would go out of my way again to listen to but I appriciate the clear influence this has had on a lot of music I listen to.
Still one of my favorite rock albums of all time. Just a vibe I don't think anyone else captured as well as them.
An incredibly tight album. I wouldn't expect anything else from the Starman.
Great album, Dire Straits knows how to jam!
Chill as hell album. Enjoyed!
So glad that I finally got to listen to that album. Really loved it.
I had not heard of Skunk Anansie before but I really rocked out through it! Cheap Honesty gave me some Coheed vibes!
Classic! The first time I heard Eleanor Rigby I was watching Give My Regards To Broad Street
I listened to this album for the first time in 6th grade. Loved it then, love it now!
I now obsessed with this album. I had never heard it before! It's been great for my suggested music selection!
First time listening to that album, it had a very REM vibe at the beginning. I also didn't know the name of the band who wrote, there she goes. Now I do!
Beautiful! I can see myself trying to find this on vinyl to have just on during a Saturday.
Fantastic Album. Start to finish it's an all timer everyone of the world should get to listen to.
Is Led Zeppelin II THE best Rock and Roll albums of all time?
Never heard of this band or album, not even a song. It was a nice.
An alright album. Nothing to jam out to later.
IS THIS the best album released in 1999? I think so.
I had not heard of them before. Cool to see a Thom Yorke teamup.
A wonderful surprise! Really enjoyed Gene Clark. I've heard him before but not these tunes.
An amazing album, I don't know how I went this long not listening to this! I loved it!
I like the Cure but I didn't really vibe with this album.
Another I had never heard before but so happy that I have now. Rip It Up is fantastic, the drums and the energy in this short album is electric.
Kate Bush has a real vibe. Enjoyed but nothing in particular stood out as a repeat listen.
Excellent bossa nova, could listen to this all day in the sun.
R.E.M. has always been one of those bands were I enjoy the hits and struggle to vibe with the rest of the album. This particular album, which have some of their biggest hits on it, resonates more so with me. Really enjoyed the vibe all the way through.
Wild album. I had never heard of Public Image Ltd., it was interesting.
I remember Fiona Apple being an influence on my adolescence; however, similar to then I could never latch on to her vibe. Regardless, it was nice to listen to this album. I just may not revisit it going forward.
A long but cool album. Another that I've never heard of and enjoyed!
This was not my favorite.
This might be one of the few albums on this list I've listened to mulitple times before rating. Love the vibe!
A Steely Jam. Enjoyed it.
I had not listened to Pharcyde but man did I really enjoy this album!
Outside of Man in the Mirror and Smooth Criminal, not blown away by this album.
Not exactly what I expected. This is a good example of a lot of hype but not the result I wanted.
This albumn still rips. I remember listening to this CD on the bus. Still rocking out to all of it. RIP Chester.
I had never listened to Jazmine Sullivan. Really enjoyed the vibe, not blown away.
All the hype around Norah didn't feel justifiied for me personally. I couldn't get into the vibe. I think it's because it feels like others already paved the roads she was walking.
Dan, this was darn good! I've heard Isaac Hayes before but not in-depth. So glad to have this in my pocket!
Loved it! Exactly a vibe I've been needing!
Just as good if not more complete feeling than the last Tim Buckley that was on this list.
I had never heard of Giant Sand before but I love this album. It's the right kind of rock and chill vibes through out. Shivers is groovy. Glad that it's on there sever times. Dilemma is my vibe. There's a comparison to Neil Young that just tracks.
This is a perfect album, has all of the biggest hits. I jams.
A really interesting listen. I enjoyed having it on, it was the perfect zoning vibe.
I can't deny the influence of Alice Cooper. Growing up almost every adult I knew had a Cooper story. Blue Turk for example is incredible. After listening, I don't resonate with it as something I would listen to regularly but I wouldn't change the station if it came on.
I heard it before. Glad I did. I love these old punk sounds.
I love the sitar. Sitar covers, so good.
A classic. A few songs I heard back in the day but I never had the chance then to listen to the whole album. RIP Peter Tosh.
Psycho Killer is the only song on this I've heard before. I am glad I got to listen to the whole album. Though, I'll not consider this one of my favorite Talking Heads albums.
Obviously this one has some classics but it's not really scratching an itch. After a while it all sort of sounds the same.
