Harvest by Neil Young
Apr 30 2026

Old man and heart of gold are the quintessential wartime ballads from this album. I hadn't heard this album prior, only the greatest hits. At the time, im certain there could have been deep meaning gleaned from the folksy overtones and impassioned lyrics. Through the lens of hindsight, the sentiments this album conveys come across as disingenuous or hypocritical. Although that statement is probably more aimed at the generation this artist and album are targeted at.

Ten by Pearl Jam
May 01 2026

Jeremy is great, a poetic indictment of school shootings before it was vogue to sing about. The rest is about whatever eddie vedder can mumble wail his way through.

Sound of Silver by LCD Soundsystem
May 04 2026

The singer cant sing. but this was from that area where talk-singing was acceptable if you had energy and a mediocre beat. Goofy ass vocal tracks, totally changes the vibe and continuity of the album. The real talent here is in the synth work.

Sea Change by Beck
May 06 2026

meh. Beck isnt a very inspiring slow jam artist.

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
May 08 2026

strange concept album, but honestly not bad for 1971. Gotta hand it to them

2112 by Rush
May 11 2026

very short, but pretty cool

Imagine by John Lennon
May 12 2026

British guys from this era would just cut people out of their lives and internalize anything falling out so they could "keep calm and carry on" . This album came shortly after the beatles breakup and you can hear yoko coming through johns voice in alot of the songs. Imagine is a great song though.

Arular by M.I.A.
May 13 2026

not to my tastes, but as far as rap goes, its kinda basic. nothing really memorable either way

Zombie by Fela Kuti
May 18 2026

i like jazz

The Wall by Pink Floyd
May 19 2026

One of the first concept albums I can think of. Pink Floyd was pioneering in the practice of making albums like this and this entire saga spelled out in album form has produced some bangers of individual tracks as well as a cohesive experience to listen all the way through.

Wonderful Rainbow by Lightning Bolt
May 20 2026

bad. discordant noise. Art, not to be enjoyed.

Garbage by Garbage
May 21 2026

the entire album kinda blends together, all the songs sound the same. Still a relic of the 90s and it deserves a place at the table

Aftermath by The Rolling Stones
May 26 2026
Scum by Napalm Death
May 27 2026

boring.

Horses by Patti Smith
May 28 2026
Be by Common
Jun 01 2026

This album was honestly pleasant to listen to. I had never heard of Common before and the sound very much reflects the release year. Kayne is featured alot with supporting vocals on this album. Its a shame Kanye lost his mind and was surrounded by people who didnt care enough to give him the help he needed. A modern Brian Wilson. Album was good though

Darklands by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Jun 03 2026

eh, not offensive, totally forgettable

Tuesday Night Music Club by Sheryl Crow
Jun 04 2026

I didn't think id like this album, but color me surprised. I count this in the same vein as Garbage and other girl bands form the early- mid 90's. Not pioneering, but definitely a wave of music that has its place and its fans. Some good Proctor and gable advertisement music in this album for sure.

Play by Moby
Jun 05 2026

I like most people didn't realize the long and storied collection Moby had prior to this album and to Porcelain. This reminds me of how blondie is only really known for that one disco track they made, despite them not playing disco music at all. Ill check out more Moby. The album is a little boring though, bit too long, bit too many repetitive samples.

The Doors by The Doors
Jun 09 2026

of all of the 60s pedo rock bands, i think i can tolerate these guys the most. Theyre not too annoying

A Wizard, A True Star by Todd Rundgren
Jun 10 2026

this love letter to himself was way too long of an album, havent listened to todd rundgren outside of the few hits he had though

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Jun 16 2026

historic album to kick off the metal genre, still holds up and is enjoyable to listen to

Pelican West by Haircut 100
Jun 19 2026

these guys are fun, album is a bit long and kinda blends together, but not bad

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Jun 22 2026

ehh, not for me

Solid Air by John Martyn
Jun 24 2026

white guy blues, ehh

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Jun 25 2026

can hardly stand the stones, album is a bunch of British dudes trying to do the blues. get tf outta here with the pedo 60s bands man. "oooh little girl uhnnhnhnhnh" its half the songs i swear

The White Album by Beatles
Jun 29 2026

kind hard not to rate the white album highly. This was probably the last great hurrah before the band got full of themselves and broke up. Divas all of em, but man could they write songs

The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest
Jun 30 2026

actually decent. normally 90s rap is cheesy, but this held up

Cross by Justice
Jul 03 2026
Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Jul 07 2026

not bad, kicked off the nirvana craze

Dear Science by TV On The Radio
Jul 08 2026

decent, not my favorite though

The Sounds Of India by Ravi Shankar
Jul 09 2026

I appreciated the intro song with an explanation. Its not jazz that's for sure. The technical prowess of these musicians is apparent.

Roger the Engineer by The Yardbirds
Jul 10 2026

kinda boring British 60s stuff. It all starts to sound the same after awhile

So by Peter Gabriel
Jul 13 2026

Some good tracks off this album, but the entire album blended together. nothing memorable

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Aug 07 2026

I like this album, i like zeppelin. Good stuff

Graceland by Paul Simon
Aug 10 2026

good departure from the other 80s music that was popular at the time. i keep a few of these standbys on hand for moods, but otherwise the album has just the one hitter in it

Parklife by Blur
Aug 11 2026

too painfully british to be entertaining
