Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan
May 31 2026

I'm not used to western style music, especially southern, but it's really refreshing, almost like story telling. He has a very nice tone and pitch, it's genuinely like holding a conversation but while singing about other people's stories, wether it's little boys or adult men. The melodies and pattern are repetitive, but each song has its own little style, and you don't easily get sick of it, because each verse is different with perspective and the story progresses throughout the songs. I'd give it for the first 5 songs Autumn and the rest Summer. Overall, I'd give it a solid 6/10!!

So by Peter Gabriel
Jun 01 2026

Very groovy from the first songs, it's definitely more my pace in terms of vintage or older albums! To be honest I do prefer shorter songs, so when they go a bit over 5 minutes I start to lose a bit of interest. Each song has a very specific mood, with different instruments for almost each of them, and the vibes you get throughout the album can varry, and I love when an artist is not afraid to depict or portray different moods or vibes from one song to another! It gets slower and slower by the end, which adds a kind of Thriller vibe, personally it's not my favourite style, but it's always lovely to just lay back and have relaxing sounds around you! Overall I would give this album definitely autumn and a good and a solid 6/10!

The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
Jun 02 2026

Such an incredible vibe from the start, jazzy, groovy, gentle pitch, everything I like in jazz!! I love track 4 on Disc 1, it's a subtle and fun way to portray different accents and cultural significance relying on language, and not just black American accents from different regions. The songs may be short, which is quite unusual for an older album and disc set, but again, each song has either a groovy or ethereal and magical vibe to it, which makes you want to listen to the rest of the album! Disc 2 seems to give more in love jazz vibes, which still keeps its catchy side. She seems to be very liberal for the youth's side, especially with track 6, where she talks about how in the 50's music , you can't keep still and have to express yourself, because the industry changed and somehow they start liking more and more nonsense, which comes back to appropriation and white Americans having no background whatsoever. Track 9 talks about how innovative thoughts or facts are dismantled and discredited because they seem out of pocket, but those famous innovators do not need the approval of critics to be seen as true and based in reality! (Milwaukee is a city in Wisconsin). Disc 3 is more summer vibes, with ethereal sunshine vibes in a wide open valley. Some of the love songs are very yearning, but not in the sense that she's desperate for a man, but there is reciprocal feeling that is also yearning from the partner. In track 5, she actually educates 'boys' how to treat women and provide the bare minimum. In Disc 4, there is this sense of almost loneliness, as if she is finding herself and certain waves or periods are hitting hard again.

Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
Jun 03 2026

Old school rock, genuinely so good, from the first track omg! Energetic but no too heavy in the screams in the guitar, and you're able to hear the lyrics super clearly. Real cool husky voice omg!!! I feel like he's using a different technique when he growls and screams which doesn't overpower and make the song too aggressive. There's also some elements of rap in track 4, which I love, because it adds the rhythmic elements of rap with the fast guitars working together. Some songs are about losing yourself and trying to find yourself again, which was seen before, but with original melodies and techniques its transferred with such uniqueness! Overall this is a really good rock album, a really solid 7/10
