1001 Albums Summary

Phenomenal album, Hurt still hits like the first time I heard it.

Interesting prog rock album, version on YouTube Music blended songs together to make a 1.5 album version. Likely won't listen to this again, but it had its moments.

Cornell's voice is magic and I wish he were still around today. Got the privilege of seeing him live once before he passed, and the sure was incredible. So many classics on this album that was released when I was 10 years old. I remember recording some of these songs from the radio onto a cassette.

Lots of classics, but let down with a few songs that feel like filler.

With Go Your Own Way and The Chain, I understand why this is a classic album. The list shows it as the number one rated album of all time, and there are just too many duds for me to rate it that way. The album is a solid 4 for the classics alone, but it's definitely not the best album of all time. Stevie's "Silver Springs" being left off this album is fucking absurd...

Great hip hop album! I can't believe I haven't heard this before, but it's right up my alley. Has a very Jurassic 5, early Black Eyed Peas feel to it; it's great!

Not sure how this is #96 of the best 100 albums of the 80's; not my cup of tea.

Crazy album! Sleeping around to child services to suicide wasn't what I was expecting. Didn't care for it vocally or musically.
