This album is quintessential yacht rock with the well-produced marriage between its slick jazz beats and classic rock sound. Although I wouldn't choose to listen to this entire album on repeat due to its slower pacing, Deacon Blues, Peg, and Josie will remain favorites of mine with a newfound love of Black Cow. Of course they're a phenomenal band that has become synonymous with the idea of Rock 'n' Roll itself, but they're right on the periphery of my taste in rock. I've never heard any of these songs until today, and most sounded like filler to the point where after five songs in, the music all blended together. I liked the blend, but nothing stuck out as exceptional like I would expect from this band.
