Utterly forgettable

Sounded like 60s/70s rock. Nothing really exciting.

This is objectively terrible. I'm only on the third track and I really can't finish it. It's just bad.

A solid blues album. I found myself not getting lost in the music though. It wasn't bad, but not really engaging either.

Fairly funky, 70s type jazz. Straight ahead feel.

Straight blues. I liked the driving feel. Not too bad.

Reminds me of a 50s movie soundtrack. Kind of chill. Obviously great vocals.

Classic Ray Charles. Always a good one.

Not really what I wanted. Old blues. Not bad, but not really what I like.

Reminded me a lot of the Finding Forrester soundtrack. A very chill Miles Davis album.

Of course this is good. Doesn't contain all the hits, but is still pretty good.

There were a lot of hits on this album. Thriller, Beat It, PYT, Billie Jean. Hard to not rate this high.

Not bad, but not really interesting. Seemed like some interesting background music, but not terribly interesting.

The great American songbook. Ella's voice is awesome. The songs are iconic. It's really great.

Not really very good. There were a couple interesting sections, but nothing that really held my attention. I did not enjoy this album, but at least I finished it.

This wasn't very exciting. It wasn't bad, but some of the songs were covered better by other bands. I kept thinking that the driving blues would go somewhere but it just kind of felt stagnant. Overall, forgettable. It did have the original version of Layla on it though. Didn't realize this was a group with Eric Clapton.

Classic Michael Jackson.

I had higher expectations for Dr. John. This was actually pretty not good.

Some interesting songs, some nice grooves, but overall not terribly exciting.

Some of the songs were really catchy. There were a couple tracks that had collaborating artists, like Carlos Santana or Bonnie Raitt. I thought it was a pretty decent album.

Not sure what this was. It seemed to be some nice beats with little rhythmic vamps and some speeches over top. Nothing really interesting.

Not a bad samba album. Samba isn't necessarily my favorite, but this was enjoyable.

Fun engaging album. I was bopping to this all day long. It starts off with Apache, which is just fun. There were, weirdly, a couple random covers of songs like 'In A Gadda D Vida' and 'Wipeout'. They were surprising.

Hands down, one of my favorite albums of all time. A classic.

I can see why Rod Stewart went single. Still, not a bad album. It had some fun songs.

A song by Billie Holiday came on after this. I enjoyed that much better. Not a big fan of this one.

There were some weird electronic effects that I was not a big fan of. There were a lot of electronic instruments, like someone went overboard with keyboards. The first song was Promenade, and I was pretty excited. I've been looking for a funk version of Promenade, which I thought could have come from ELP. This was not it. Overall, not bad, but not something that I want to listen to again.

Excellent album. I had forgotten about this. Somehow listening to this album makes me nostalgic for a time or place that I never experienced. It just has that feel that makes you want to sit and watch the rain fall, or slow dance, or slow dance in the rain. Pretty excellent.

Kind of weird political slow jams. Not really good, but I could at least sit through it.

Ehh. This wasn't very much fun. It was okay I guess, but not something I'm going to listen to again.

Terrible, just terrible. I stuck it out hoping it would improve. I never want to hear this again.

Except for the title track, it wasn't very exciting.

No, just no. I get that this was maybe experimental, but it was not enjoyable to listen to at all.
