Fantastic album, probably their best. Even though it is a large departure from their original sound, the music and lyrics combine to be something truly wonderful.

I feel like I should listen to this album while riding a horse or sipping whiskey on a porch overlooking a grand vista.

I've been shpongled

I wanted to like it but it felt like walking around in a modern art museum exhibit more than listening to an album.

a bit long but good music and great energy, something you can't usually feel through a live album.

Music isn't bad, interesting post-rock/metal/prog. But the singing. I just can't get past that.

At its best, it's fine. But it is rarely at its best.

Look, I like GRiZ. "Good Will Prevail" is a great album, and GRiZ is a fun listen, but GRiZ is not a must listen. This was fine. Too many "WUB WUB"s for me, not enough saxophone but it was fine. I just think something else should have been on this list instead.

The singles are well known and good. The rest of the album is not as great, which is my overall issue with Queen.

I made two mistakes when listening to this record: 1) I was entirely sober and 2) I wasn't in a medieval monastery filled with candles. That's my bad.

3.5 hours? The submitters got jokes...

the Tom Tom Club said "Hey, them MTV kids now like industrial, electronica, and rock, we can do that!" and they did that. It's fun, a little stupid and silly, and probably unneeded. But I liked it.

Lots of energy and chaos. I enjoyed it.

As an English-speaker, I have no idea what is going on, but Portuguese is a very pretty language and the beats are nice.

"She" is a banger of a track. The rest was fine.

if Rob Zombie, Trent Reznor, and Iggy Pop made a record together... unfortunately, the idea sounds better than the execution.

A pleasant surprise. My only knock against it is a lot of the songs sound very similar.

I suspect user-submitted albums come with an unspoken rule: if it's long, you better have a damned good reason. This one runs 111 minutes — long enough to qualify as its own list. It could have been trimmed to under 45 minutes, or released as an EP; instead it should probably never have been submitted. At best it would be a 3, but the runtime knocks it down to a 2.

Is this a 3 because there's nothing particularly bad about the album or a 2 because there's nothing particularly good about it? When the album ends are you happy because you listened to it or are you relieved it's over? I'm more in the latter camp. Nothing bad about the album, just dull and I don't expect I'd ever revisit it. 2.5/5

fun listen.

Surprisingly good.

starts off strong but then loses steam in the middle. overall, fun pop.

It’s not that bad, and I would’ve rated it a 3—but after thinking about it more, there’s no replay value, so I’m lowering it to a 2.

halfway through, my kid changed the music to something else, I didn't even notice. It's not that this is bad, it's just... bland. There are many better examples from late aught's to early 2010's of indie rock, this was not one of the must-listen's.

Started off interesting and then just kind of fell off. Not sure if the songs got weaker or the shtick wore off...

what a mood. Best song is "Fly on the Windscreen", it felt like I was in Miami Vice (I then found out the song was featured in the show).

The first 3 tracks are a total of 20 minutes long. There are 14 tracks. The submitter got jokes.

Great album, not a 5 just due to length. Could have been trimmed down and been the better album for it.

I liked it at the start but it's too long. A triple album that is only 50 minutes but seems longer than it is.

An intriguing idea does not make a good album. An interesting idea does not make music good. It's Bowie-meets-lounge-singer and when I wasn't hoping the song would end I was forgetting it was on. A good concept album needs a good concept and good music, and neither clicked with me.

What fun! like a proto-AC/DC. And that is probably a disservice to SAHB.

"Crimson Pt. 4" (or whatever, it was originally all one track and is now split up?) is possibly one of the worst songs I have ever heard, definitely bottom 5. If I was ever a prisoner of war, that is what would be blasted to make me go insane. The "singing" is just awful, and brings everything down to a 1.

Started off strong with really good garage rock vibes, but lost steam halfway through.

Love this album. Good, fun music that is the perfect length and doesn't take itself too seriously. Makes me want to eat some peaches.

Shoegaze seems like a genre i should like more than I actually do. The music is fine, just not especially memorable, and several tracks blur together. If you’ve heard other shoegaze, it may feel familiar.

"You got punk in my shoegaze!" "You got shoegaze in my punk!" a wonderfully chaotic album!

"Mom, can I have anxiety?" "No, we have anxiety at home" Anxiety at home: At first, the music was jarring to me, but it does a really good job of conveying someone having a panic or anxiety attack. I just hope that was the intention.

chaotic, jazzy, experimental. Great debut album from a fun band.
