ZZ TopDang, what a cool album. Metal, synthy, with a cool industrial beat. It’s fun and a great album to get pumped up to. Makes me want to go real fast in my car haha. A ton of great singles but a very cohesive album overall

Not what I was expecting. The album was something you’d hear in a blues bar and not a stadium. Not bad, just wasn’t what I thought I’d get. Enjoyed overall
Weird, funky, and a little dark. I enjoyed it and thought it was fun. Overall not my thing
Mellow and good listening. The album starts a little slow but builds up. I enjoyed it enough, something I wouldn’t have picked up normally
First I’ve heard of Q-tip. The album was good, nothing wowed me, but I enjoyed all the songs. Great groove, good beats and the lyrics were fast and fun.
I would have never picked up this album by myself. I enjoyed it. It was angry and funny and had a great style to it. It took me a little while to get into but overall enjoyed it
Took me awhile to get in to this one. Kind of reggae, kind of funky, a lot of different styles packed into the album with a lot going on. Overall, fun listen and a couple great singles
I’m a huge fan of pilsners. Clean, crisp, and drinkable. They are usually simple beers flavor wise and not full of gimmicks or weird ingredients. Good ones are known not for their wow factor but more for their lack of errors. It’s hard to hide mistakes and off flavors in lagers. This album is a Pilsner. I can’t say it wowed me, but it was great highly drinkable music without any misses
Great Album, a favorite
I judged a book by its cover. Based on the name and the first track I figured this would be a bit of a gimmicky album and maybe a little silly. But it was a fun, sincere album with a lot of great songs. Made me want to go drink a Guinness.
Surprised I’ve never heard of this album before. I would have listened to it a ton in college haha. Overall enjoyed
I tried. I listened to this album again. I’ve heard it before. It’s been on my mind a ton. I keep trying to figure it out, and I can’t. I don’t get it. The album art work and the beer are amazing. The album is chaos.
Lovely album. I’ve heard a the singles off it and have loved them but listening to the ones between them was a lot of fun. Timeless and spacey and such a great sound
His voice is fantastic. I was mesmerized by it the whole album. The music I thought was fine nothing amazing but good. I like that he seems to utilize his unusual vocals to play around with the sound of songs
Expectations are a b. I knew Dear God and love the song. Knew nothing else about the band. Was expecting an angry punky gen x brit vibe and the album was a lot more like Sgt Peppers in the park on a Sunday. It was light and fun and the music was good. Wish the whole album had a Dear God vibe to it though.
Fun and a great paced album. It was a great Friday pump up.
Dark and sad
Fun. Good solid music. Haven’t heard anything before
Ice T? The actor? What a wild album. It was fun and funny and it was hard to tell how serious he being. This was my first time listening to any of his music and I’d put it on par with listening to Bruce Willis music
One of my favorites. Found it in college and have listened to the album regularly since. Always makes me want to start a band
Kind of a surprise. Kind of had Led Zeppelin vocals and guitar sound mixed with 90s alt rock. Didn’t blow me away but enjoyed the album overall
Great album. Found it after fight club haha. Punk and grunge and rock. A great listen
Recognized some songs. Never got into the doors. I’m not sure whyZ great rhythm. Fun songs. Maybe it’s Morrisons vocals. I don’t know. I dig the organ in a lot of songs.
I love David Bowie. I realized that he takes a while to grow on me though. It definitely sounds like Bowie. Nothing stood out as amazing, but it all sounded like Bowie. Listened to it three times. Maybe just not for me or maybe it just needs some more time to simmer
Definitely a talking heads album. Great vibes. Still weird. Fun vocals and good spirits
Mellow and good beat to it. Enjoyed it
This made me want to watch King of the Hill. This is the music Hank would listen to and consider great. I really enjoyed it. It was a great story telling album
Great album. Great sound. Great power. Had a lot of fun listening to it.
Delivered what it promised. Not but thing but liked the vibe. Something different.
Great. A lot of fun. Classic cash. Great vocals. Fun album and atmosphere. Enjoyed the guests a lot too
I like most Aerosmith singles, probably with the exception of the ones on this album. It wasn’t what I was expecting from Aerosmith. Like it was great rock with some interesting stuff throw in but it just wasn’t for me
Dark and groovy. Pretty great.
Hadn’t ever really given BS a chance but this album is great. Fun and rocking. The music and lyrics all fit the album well. Makes me excited to see if more Ozzy or BS shows up!
I was hooked right away, but by the time hour 17 came along I was growing a little exhausted. Fun and a great rhythm. Psychedelic and different. I had never heard of them but liked the music and the vocals.
Thom Yorke has a pleasant ghost alien voice. Not my fav Radiohead album, but still great. I always found this one to be a little creepy
Ska is interesting, but I’m not overly interested in it
Light and psychedelic. Was expecting something a little more aggressive but liked it’s mellow vibe
Reminded me a lot of Michael. But I was probably subconsciously comparing the two. Had the same fun energy as Michael
Dang I liked this album. I hadn’t heard of them. After finishing the album I listened to it again and then looked at their other stuff. Kind of a rocking poppy punky style that was light and fun. Neat
Great and a lot of fun! First experience with Little Richard was Mother Goose Rock and Rhyme. It was a fever dream of a movie where Little Richard played a king or something. Half terrifying half enchanting we watched it frequently growing up. Totally forgot about it until I listened to this
Music to listen to on the beach if you’re into voodoo and Paul McCartney in Wings era music. Surprising and very pleasant. Each song seemed to keep me on my toes as to what to expect
When someone tells you “think of the average car” and a 4 door sedan pops into your head. When someone tells you “think of an average rock group” and Def Leppard pops into your head. I like Def Leppard a lot, but they are definitely a sedan that has a sporty vibe to it, like a Honda Accord. Dependable rock
Dark and brooding
Smooth. Makes me want to drink a martini at a warm resort
I’m about 50 albums In and this is my second Pogues album. Based on those odds I have about another 18 Pogues albums to listen too, which I’m excited for. The first album I thought was going to be gimmicky but I was blown away at the sincere and awesome attempt at Irish Punk Rock. This album was the same, but different. I feel like it didn’t have the highs and lows of the first album but it was just such a greatly constructed passionate album. It’s clear they have a live for the style of music and it sold me. Nothing was half assed. I’m a fan and look forward to however many more Pogues albums managed to make the list
Slow and melodic. Not really my thing
Heard this band a lot. Was surprised this album was released when it was, always assumed they were more of a late nineties kind of band. Enjoyed the album overall but wasn’t blown away
I didn’t know Courtneylove was a singer, not sure really where she came in the picture
What a weird short album. These guys feel out of place like they should have been born 20 years later and been a heavy metal band. Enjoyable weird listen
My friends loved this in high school. I still don’t get it. It’s interesting, crazy paces, lots of highs and lows, intense vocals, erratic. Definitely unique and definitely interesting but I think a little too unconventional for me liking.
Big songs. I can see why it’s on the list. Seemed like he was experimenting a lot and just trying to figure it all out.
Sounds like it was the inspiration for Dave Matthews Band. Not bad, just kind of jam music. I didn’t mind it
Jazzy and groovy. I liked this album a lot
The singles are great, but the rest of the album was meh. Wonder if I only liked the singles since you hear them constantly. I should probably give it another chance since it started off so great
Idk. The vocals weren’t as good as they were on her older stuff. Kind of a dark slow album. Not my thing
One of my favorites. I could Just Sulk about listening to it on repeat. Found it in college. I listened to In Rainbows first, and it led me to The Bends. My fav Radiohead album
What a delight. I had no idea what to expect. It’s summer and hot and I was listening to a Bob Dylan Album and just not feeling it. I decided to give this one a shot since it was next in the queue and I listened to it a couple more times over the course of the weekend. Something very different and blew my mind in a way I wasn’t expecting.
I’m sure this is great I just don’t really know why. Maybe it’s a if you get it you get it? I can’t do what he does and I liked all of it, but I just didn’t get why it’s special
Definitely a band from the 90s. Sounded like REM mixed with Collective Soul. Decent stuff but nothing too thrilling
Eh. It was alright. 90s rock. Not very catchy and the vocals seemed off
I don’t know why I didn’t realize the guy who wrote hallelujah would have a lot of religious vibes to his songs. Vocals were different, album was a bit mediocre. I felt like he was trying to say something or be edgy, but he didn’t do it well.
This one blew me away right out of the gate. Thought IH was going to be like a Barry white mixed with Chef but this was pretty big and epic and daring. Listened a couple times to it
Dang I love Bruce. This album is like a vanilla milkshake. It’s just classic Bruce drinkable and every bit tasty. Badlands and Darkness on the Edge of town cap the milkshake, whip cream on top, cherry in the bottom
Not feeling it
Just weird fun. I appreciate that they are themselves and make what they want. I get Rock Lobster stuck in my head often along with their other hits. Great fun vibe
I dig the who but never cared for this album. Bold in its concept I feel like it just misses the mark for trying to keep up the joke
This album reminds me of Malcolm in the middle and 2001. I had Fatboy Slims Why Try Harder stuck in my car pretty much. Great stuff
It’s no London Calling
Had no idea what to expect but loved it. Weird and full and interesting
One of my all time favs
Great energy. Ace of spades is overplayed here, was pleasantly surprised the whole album is pretty solid
Eh, not my thing
Funny? Cool vibe
I’m not a fan of BCs vocals
After reading the reviews I’m gonna give this album another chance. 3 is a place holder
Great stuff
It grew on me.
