Shaka Zulu
Ladysmith Black MambazoI loved listening to the melodies and sounds that made up the songs. This was absolutely beautiful, and I can see myself turning this music on again in the future.

Bowie is an unparalleled talent. This was a great listen. I enjoyed the instrumental tracks A LOT! I also enjoyed V-2 Schneider. My fav was probably Jon the Lion.
I’ve always enjoyed Led Zeppelin. I think my fav on this album is Night Flight. I will revisit this album!
Loved loved loved! Enjoyed Where Do The Children Play as well as Wild World.
Didn’t know that I knew this music. I love early rock and roll. Jump, Jive, An’ Wail was recognizable. I enjoyed the tracks with a female vocalist as well as the instrumental tracks. Great listen!
Bang A Gong was the beginning of my hippie awakening as a teen. So fun to hear the rest of this album. I like the vocalist & really did enjoy, but many of the songs sounded the same.
Janis is instant nostalgia. Her tone is unparalleled. What a voice. What a soul. What a loss. I loved every song. My favourites were Cry Baby and Mercedes Benz. But Trust Me really struck a chord, too. God I loved this one.
Other than Once In A Lifetime, I didn’t like or recognize any other songs. Alas.
While Wonder is an extremely talented vocalist & musician, I couldn’t help but find this album to be very boring. The two songs I recognized have been ruined by years in retail. This one wasn’t for me.
People Everyday is such a good song. Most of the other songs sounded the same to me? I like the overall feel, but by the last few songs I was ready to move on.
Mellow listening. I enjoy the late 60s vibes and the lyrics, but there weren’t any stand out tracks for me with this one. Solid listen but won’t return to this album in particular.
This was not for me.
These songs all sounded the same and I didn’t recognize one of them. Having said that, I do like Kiss’ sound and their lyrics make me laugh so I’d come back to this one!
Can appreciate Santana’s musicianship & extraordinary talent, but I can’t get into his music. Fav track was Oye Como Va.
I knew more songs that I thought I would, and I love George’s voice. Some songs weren’t for me, but I enjoyed listening overall!
Great lyrics and melodies. Waits has a distinctive style and voice which sadly isn’t for me.
This seems like a very progressive sound for the time it was released. I enjoyed the instrumentals and most of the tracks. Not sure I’d go back and re listen to anything; no standouts really for my taste.
This wasn’t too bad, but I am not a big fan of country. I didn’t mind some of the songs, but many of the lyrics were about God which I didn’t like.
Loved!
Turns out I super like this band! Many recognizable songs. Love the vibe.
A solid listen. I liked the vibe. Great lyrics & vocalist. I’d explore more of their music for sure.
I enjoyed the songs and the lyrics and vocalist. By the end, though all the songs sounded the same.
I liked it at the start, but the lyrics weren’t for me.
I unexpectedly loved that! The rhythms and the rapping was excellent!
Beautiful and iconic music.
Proto-punk is not a genre I like, it turns out. I enjoyed the vocalist, but overall I didn’t like the songs.
Loved this so much. Great album.
Super 90s vibes. Reminded me of Buffy the Vampire Slayer era music. I liked it a lot but wouldn’t seek it out necessarily.
I love her sound & voice. Big fan of this album.
This was a good listen. I could see putting on a song or two, but the entire album for a bit repetitive at the end. Great vocalist.
Too much Gary Numan all at once. Love Cars obviously. On Broadway was a super fun cover. I like the overall sound, but listening to the album all at once is just too much.
Turns out I really like Neil Young’s music beyond his major hits. His voice is very soothing, and I enjoyed the lyrics in these songs. I liked Powderfinger most of all.
Wow…I liked this. I haven’t ever had a positive responds to RS’s music, but this was enjoyable! No major standout favourites but I think that it was a short album helped me to enjoy it more.
I did not like this. Some songs were okay - a little lighter and with more of a melody I liked. But I couldn’t really hear any lyrics in some songs and it just sounded like ambient noise. Having said that, my 10 month old seemed to really like it.
Super loved! This whole musical style (post-grunge alt-rock?) is something I want to explore more of. The female vocalist was sublime.
Loved. What an excellent album, start to finish.
No thanks. Not for me.
Exquisite. No notes. I love it more and more with every listen.
I own this album and have listened many times. While there are some songs that I don’t love, it’s excellent. I love Adele so much.
Absolutely loved listening to this album. Gorgeous jazz music. I have added it to my Spotify rotation to return to when I’m in the mood. Stunning.
Super liked!!
This was just okay. I had never heard any of Reed’s music but have heard the name a lot so I guess I had higher expectations.
Love the general sound but no individual song stood out as exceptional to me.
Two hours and six minutes? Cut it down to 40 and I would have been good with three stars but it just was too much. Some good songs but nothing I’m rushing back to listen to.
This was so fun to listen to!
This was ok. I’m not a massive fan. By the end I was ready to turn it off.
Loved! I really like the vocalist and the late 90s Alternative rock / punk rock / grunge sound.
This was fine but a little repetitive. I liked that it was live, and I enjoyed the first half more than the back half.
I love British rap. Lyrics were tight and the rhythm to each song was so catchy. Will return to this artist!
I really adore big band music, and this was extremely enjoyable to listen to!
This wasn’t as heavy as I anticipated. I liked many of the songs and enjoyed the main singer’s voice.
Loved! I really enjoy jazz music and this album was no exception.
This was okay but I wouldn’t listen to these songs again.
I really enjoyed this! Haven’t really listened to much Stones but am a big fan after this album.
Some songs were fine but I didn’t like the lyrics. I genuinely thought this was a Christian rock album at first.
I absolutely love the counter culture, anti-establishment lyrics. I’m shocked I’ve never bothered to listen to RATM before. I loved this!
I understood 1/3 of the lyrics but I loved the French pop style. Brel’s voice was lovely & melodic.
This wasn’t as bad as I anticipated but it still wasn’t for me.
I loved listening to the melodies and sounds that made up the songs. This was absolutely beautiful, and I can see myself turning this music on again in the future.
Somehow I’ve never listened to The Smiths despite knowing that they are an incredibly important and beloved group. Turns out that’s for a reason. Loved their sound & their lyrics!
Loved!!
Fun to listen to!
I loved this so much! I recognized many of the songs and it all felt very nostalgic. Great album.
I find their music all sounds the same. And while I enjoy the vocalist’s voice, I just don’t like their music enough to enjoy a full album of it.
I enjoy their music, but I wasn’t really into most of the songs on this album.
This was okay but unremarkable. Sometimes I wonder why certain albums make the cut and not others - and this is one that had me questioning.
I really, really loved this.
Very catchy & danceable music! Wouldn’t turn it on normally, but it was a fun listen for this project.
I love TM!
Absolutely adored this.
I would listen to this again. I loved the folksy vibes.
I love The Byrds!
I had no idea that I would like this, let alone love it. I’m going to explore more of their music.
This was ok. Nothing really stood out to me aside from Hallelujah - and that isn’t even my favourite cover of the song.
Classic easy listening. Nothing stands out, and also most of this music was ruined by years of working in retail.
Lots of these songs were overplayed in my retail days, but they were still okay to listen to.
I enjoyed this and found a lot of the songs very catch!
This was ok - some songs were more catchy than others, but mostly it just felt repetitive by the end.
Back to back albums by this group wasn’t great, but I did like this one a bit more than the other. I enjoyed their big singles, one of which I even recognized. My husband told me a bit about why they are noteworthy and I liked learning that trivia.
This is the exact kind of country music I don’t like.
I love Thin Lizzy.
Not for me at all.
This was okay. I only liked a few songs.
Not a fan whatsoever.
I liked the slower, quieter songs. Some of these were very relaxing!
There are so many of their albums in this generator! I really enjoy them but wasn’t feeling the more Christian songs.
Fun and catchy!
I really loved this one. Very mellow and an easy listen.
Ok so turns out I really like Waits’ music & voice. I’m so glad I listened to this one.
Absolutely loved.
Not at all for me, but I can understand their appeal.
Loved this! Can’t believe I didn’t listen to this before now.
Loved it!!!
This was okay. I enjoyed their singles.
Really enjoyed this one!
Fine in small doses but it got repetitive.
I do not like the Bee Gees.
Some songs were okay but it had a weird Christian country vibe that wasn’t for me.
I prefer her other album but I do love her work!
I thoroughly enjoyed this!
I did not like this music. I can’t quite put my finger on why.
Love. There are a few deep cuts on this one that are not all time favs, but their music brings me such joy.
I really love CCR!
This was delightful!
I like some of the songs on this album; the sounds were unique and it was easy listening. Some of the spoken word (?) or speaking just didn’t work for me.
I really like their music. It’s catchy and fun, and I want to listen to more of their deep cuts. Very underrated band.
Really liked the vocalist(s) but overall the music was just okay for me. I wouldn’t seek out their music, but I wouldn’t hurry to change it if it were already on.
I liked the overall sound here, but the album got repetitive by the end.
I loved this album. I was so pleasantly surprised by this as I hadn’t heard anything outside of their singles before.
Loved. No notes.
Leonard Cohen is a gift.
This was okay. Not the biggest fan of electronica / this style of music, but it was easy background listening.
This album is excessively long. I love the interplay of metal and orchestral sounds. But we only got a few songs in before moving on. We will continue to listen in small doses.
Once upon a time I owned this album on vinyl. I do love Duran Duran. Like a lot.
I’m very surprised to learn that The Doors are just very ok for me.
Not at all for me.
This was ok. Not my favourite; a couple a good songs, but overall forgettable.
I love Billy Joel!
Unremarkable.
Love.
I loved this one.
I just didn’t jive with this at all.
This was great. I knew their hit single, but hasn’t listened to any of the other songs. Very much my style of music.
Not at all for me.
This was fine but not something I’d go back to. This style of music all sounds the same to me - I just don’t really connect with it.
The GOAT. His music is a balm for the soul!
I didn’t mind most of the tracks, but each one was just too long.
This was very easy to listen to. I quite enjoyed the melodies and the spoken word, even though I didn’t understand what was being said (it was in a different language).
This was just ok. Not my kind of music and sadly no stand out songs.
This definitely reminded me of 90s alt rock. It was okay to listen to. Nothing stood out.
Obsessed.
So so good. Love this band.
I didn’t like this, so we didn’t listen to the whole album.
This was a really neat album but some songs were really unsettling.
Not my fav other than their single.
I enjoyed this a lot!
Not for me.
That was quite short and a fun listen.
Not too bad, but it got repetitive.
