Sonic Youth is one of those "do you like it?" "of course I do" bands, but little do you really know! What a mistake! This album is magnificent, good music from the beginning to the end.

Não sou muito fã de músicas dos anos 70... mas gostando muito de ouvir esse álbum! Algumas músicas lembro de já ter passado em alguma esquina da vida, outras foram surpresa (ótima, por sinal). Ouvi Van Morisson em alguma fase da vida, parei, e agora fiquei com vontade que ele permaneça no meu gosto musical.

Estava tentando escrever relatório, e nem as músicas costumeiras, aquela do dia-a-dia, arroz com feijão, estavam inspirando. De novo, saí da minha zona, escutei músicas que não escutaria normalmente (a não ser que eu fosse obrigada, aí vale para a fila do mercado ou sala de espera do dentista) e, incrivelmente, o trabalho fluiu. As músicas são carregadas de energia, um baita ritmo e uma batida de fazer até o sangue correr mais rápido... nota 5!

The music is good, but the sound is not really my thing. I will listen again, and focus on the quality... but it's really not to my taste!

I first met Aimee Mann watching sitcoms, back in the (now) distant 90s. What a trip back in time listening to this CD, and the certainty that good music never ages.

Madonna always surprises with her creativity: all her albums are different from each other, both in lyrics and melodies. This all ensures that she remains active and extremely interesting over time. This album is no exception, all songs are great and take you on a mystical journey of that time (she changes too, just like Madonna). I still prefer the Madonna of the 80s, but it is undeniable how great this album is.

One of the best albums ever made, those who were teenagers in the 90s remember turning on the TV and watching the Smashing Pumpkins videos and singing all the songs on this CD. It was always a dream of mine, but I could only realize it as an adult... to this day I remember admiring the booklet, reading the lyrics, and listening to the songs!

Thanks to MTV, I suffered throughout my teenage years from overexposure to the B-52's and to this day I can't listen. The songs are good, but it's trauma.

Here in Brazil Elvis Costello, unfortunately, is a relatively unknown talent (as far as I know), and listening to this album was a surprise and a great discovery.

I always have the unfortunate tendency to think that good music is perhaps in the past. Besides being extremely unfair to the great musicians we have active today, it is also unfair to all the musicians who are still active, even though they have a wonderful musical past, as is the case of Rod Stewart. I had never heard this album before, and I was really surprised, what a quality, what a delight to listen to these songs. It saved my afternoon, and made my day much more cheerful!
