Talking With the Taxman About Poetry
Billy BraggA really great album about life, love, politics, and everything in between. 5/5. Favorite Track: The Marriage

The Flaming Lips' "Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots" is an electronic rock love letter to the 80s. The album starts off pretty rockin', but quickly shifts into an album full of power ballads. 4/5. Favorite Tracks: Fight Test, One More Robot.

I've always enjoyed Bon Jovi and know he was a rock legend, but I never listened to anything but his greatest hits. Slippery When Wet is an incredible 80s rock album that doesn't slow down. It's basically all killer, no filler. 5/5. Favorite Track: Livin' On A Prayer
I was never really a fan of the Beatles, but I feel like this album is what the Beatles would be like if their sound was more modernized. 3/5. Favorite Track: David Watts

Not too big a fan of rap music so there's not much to say. I enjoyed the simplicity of the beats however they sounded rather muddy compared to the vocals. 3/5. Favorite Track: Represent

Deep Purple's "Deep Purple In Rock" is a look back at what early Hard Rock and Metal sounded like in the 70s. An incredible take on the genre by a band that defined it and a wild experience seeing how far it's come. While it was a lovely time listening, I feel it doesn't hold up as well as it should. Favorite Track: Child in Time. 4/5.

While it's a decent rock album, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, every song on the album just blends together. I couldn't tell you any stand out song nor could I recall any other than my favorite. 3/5. Favorite Track: Bit Part
While it is fundamentally a rock album, and there were a few stand out tracks, I feel as if the entire album sounded as if the band were playing the same song over and over again. 3/5. Favorite Track: Is This Music?
One of the horniest albums that I think I've ever heard. An incredible performance by an absolute legend. 4/5. Favorite Track: Faith
A weird mix of grunge/punk and what feels like reggae. I really don't know how to feel about this album with it being a little all over the place. 3/5. Favorite Track: Newtown
What a fantastic rap album. Truly one of the best rap albums of all time and one that absolutely defines the genre. 5/5. Favorite Track: It's Tricky
I won't deny that this is an essential disco album, and it feels like it was one that helped define the genre. Despite the great grooves, every song is incredibly repetitive and overstays it's welcome by a lot. 3/5.
If I listened to this album on repeat for a few times, I might enjoy it, but as it is every track sounds the same and nothing really stands out to me. 2/5.
I'm not really sure what to say about this album. After listening to the first few songs on the album I was extremely confused on how this was considered music. But then about halfway through Persephone, it clicked. As soon as Pandora started playing I began to appreciate the music. Then after a quick look at the Wikipedia article, and seeing that this actually defined the dream pop genre, I think it really warmed me up to the album. Despite not understanding a single word other than "Here's what it takes", this really is an insanely great piece of music. I was initially going to give it 3/5 but after letting the music breathe for a bit, I'm giving it a 4/5. Favorite Tracks: Pandora (For Cindy), Donimo
While I enjoyed how raw this album felt at times, songs like Run Run Run actually hurt my ears. 3/5. Favorite Track: Heroin
A really fun and surprisingly political ska album. Would love to check out some of the band's other works now. 4/5. Favorite Track: Holiday Fortnight

What a wild concept album. It's great, such varied sounds and messages throughout each. I love the fact that it feels like a parody of love songs. The thing is, it's really REALLY long. Sitting at 3 hours, it's a slog to get through and it feels like they all blend together. While I would listen to it again, and probably not in one sitting, there are some really great tracks in there that I would love to hear by themselves. There are also a few tracks that aren't really great and even one that kind of hurt my ears. 4/5. Favorite Track: Love Is Like Jazz
Really classic garage rock, nothing bad to say about it, but nothing too stand out. 3/5. Favorite Track: Outsmarted
Nothing to say about this one unfortunately. 3/5.
A decent punk rock album but nothing too special. 3/5. Favorite Track: Zillion Dollar Sadist
A decent rock album but nothing too standout. 3/5. Favorite Track: Outside Woman Blues
What an incredible album. I love the garage rock noise and excellent covers. The original tracks are no slouch either. The cathartic vocals are absolutely amazing. 5/5. Favorite Track: Psycho
Really interesting rock album by the legendary band "The Who". While I don't really like this album too much, I did enjoy how it tells the tale of Tommy and his life. 3/5. Favorite Track: Underture
I've never listened to Queen, but what an album to start with. Such a good glam rock album. 4/5. Favorite Track: Flick Of The Wrist
What a great rock album, while I didn't really enjoy the track "Free Form Guitar", the rest of the album was stunning. 5/5. Favorite Track: Questions 67 and 68
4/5.
One of the greatest album of all-time, I knew that the cover was one of the most recognizable, and that the band is one of the best, but I never gave the album a true listen. While every track was great save for the final one, I now understand why it's so good. 5/5. Favorite Track: Smells Like Teen Spirit
Despite not understanding a single word, I really enjoyed the dream pop aspect of this album. 4/5. Favorite Track: Flugufrelsarinn
A decent little album. 3/5. Favorite Track: A Minha Menina
Decent album, but nothing too standout. 3/5. Favorite Track: Great British Mistake
Scott Walker may very well have one of the best voices of all time. While I don't quite jive with his music, I can recognize his outstanding talent. 4/5. Favorite Track: Jackie
Decent punk album. 3/5. Favorite Track: Teen Age Riot
A fun modern album. 4/5. Favorite Track: Electric Feels
Big MCR vibes from this one. I didn't like this album that much, but I could really get into this artist if I wanted to. 3/5. Favorite Track: On The Lash
Enjoyable rap album, a bit out there, but iconic none the less. 3/5. Favorite Track: Burn Hollywood Burn
What a wild electronic album. I started to wonder why some songs were 8 minutes long and only the same notes/lyrics over and over again, but after minute 7, I understood and enjoyed it. 3/5. Favorite Track: The Hall of Mirrors
A classic glam rock album, Queen never disappoints. 4/5. Favorite Track: Ogre Battle
I've never really listened to jazz, but I'm glad this was my first time listening to it. This is such a fun album and the energy on display is so much fun. 5/5. Favorite Track: The Lip
Solid Rock album. Unfortunately I found it a rather generic with nothing too standout. 3/5.
Nothing too stand out. Solid 3/5.

Was hard to find this one on streaming services, but damn is it funkalicious. 4/5. Favorite Track: Groovallegiance
I've heard Kendrick songs before, but I've never really given his music a listen. Outstanding modern rap album. 4/5. Favorite Tracks: Backseat Freestyle, Swimming Pools, "Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst"
If I could rate this 0, I would. 1/5.
Rinky Dink is standout here

I've heard muse before, but hearing an album by them is just incredible
While I recognize that the Beatles have had a profound impact on the music industry, I feel as if all of their music is sub-par. The mix on a lot of these songs bother me. 3/5. Favorite track: Yellow Submarine
Just a really fun album. 4/5. Favorite track: Superstition
Pretty okay rock album. 3/5
What an excellent electronic album. I've only heard the name Fatboy Slim and never really knew what music he's made, but this album is incredible. 5/5. Favorite track: The Rockafeller Skank
An amazing prog rock album. It's wild how bands were able to create epics for several minutes and make masterpieces like this. 4/5. Favorite Track: Close To The Edge
Solid Rock album, but nothing special
Pretty solid electronic album. While nothing really stood out, there wasn't a bad track on here. 4/5.
A fun prog rock album. 4/5. Favorite Track: Tarkus
It's an okay album, nothing too standout. 3/5.
Such an incredible rock album. It's amazing how it's the debut album by the band because it's such a strong performance. 5/5. Favorite Track: Cult of Personality
Good music, couldn't understand a word of it, but it sounded like every party i go to
There is nothing to be gained from listening to this album
Incredible album, I do feel as if the US version is stronger solely by the inclusion of Paint it Black. 4/5. Favorite track: Paint It Black
While no song overstays it's welcome, nothing sticks out on this album because it all just mushes together. The mix isn't great either. 2/5.
A really great album about life, love, politics, and everything in between. 5/5. Favorite Track: The Marriage
Talking Heads is such an iconic band and their debut album is nothing short of stunning. 5/5. Favorite Track: Psycho Killer
It's fine honestly. Nothing really stood out. 3/5.
Nothing really stood out to me other than the title track. 3/5. Favorite Track: Paris 1919
Really fun funk album. I've heard the name Jamiroquai before, but never knew they were a musician. 4/5. Favorite Track: Revolution 1993
Very fun prog rock/glam rock album. I can see why Rush is such an iconic band. 4/4. Favorite Track: Limelight
I never really gave Bowie too much thought, but I can see why his music was popular. 4/5. Favorite Track: Starman
Despite the language barrier, it's a very fun reggae album. 4/5. Favorite Track: Welcome To Tijuana
A funky little slice of Brazilian and African music. I can't understand a word of it, but enjoyable nevertheless. 4/5. Favorite Track: Meus Filhos, Meu Tesouro
The first bit of the album really turned me off, but as the songs progressed they got better and better. Still it's only fine. 3/5.
An inoffensive album. Nothing memorable or standout. 3/5.
A really great album that goes on for a bit too long. There are some great tracks like "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" and "Tonight, Tonight". 4/5.
A chilling and haunting piece. Expertly crafted. 5/5. Favorite Track: You Want It Darker
DO THE D A N C E, 1, 2, 3, 4, FIGHT! It's a 5/5 album. Favorite Track: D.A.N.C.E.
While I do love this type of music, I feel like I've been spoiled by songs that have come much after it. It's fine for what it is, but it's not really groundbreaking. 2/5.
It's Kendrick so you know you're in for a pretty good rap album. 4/5. Favorite Tracks: Alright, How Much A Dollar Cost, The Blacker The Berry
It's an okay hip-hop album. It has its moments with songs like "Kick, Push" and "He Say She Say". The outro was kinda neat too, but it's just fine. 3/5. Favorite Track: Kick Push
I don't really get the appeal of it. It's a good Prog Rock/Psych Rock album, but I can't in confidence say that it's one of the greatest albums of all time. I may need to listen to it a few times more. 4/5. Favorite Track: Money
While everyone has heard "Mr. Blue Sky" before, realizing that it comes from this album is such a delight. It's an incredible piece of music and it might join my regular rotation of albums. 5/5. Favorite Track: Mr. Blue Sky
It's fine, inoffensive at best, mediocre at worst. 3/5.
While the album started and closed out really strong, the weird fading in and out of tracks kind of put me off. Solid performance, and it would be amazing to be in the crowd. 4/5. Favorite Track: Ramblin' Rose
I can't say enough about how good this album is. What a hell of a debut, all killer no filler. 5/5. Favorite Track: Runnin' with the Devil
It's a decent hard rock/metal album but it's nothing special. 3/5. Favorite track: Live to Win

It's fine. Even after listening to the bonus tracks there's not much here. 3/5. Favorite Track: Diana
I don't think I've ever been immediately struck by how outstanding an album is. Musgraves has truly produced a masterpiece by all definitions of the word. I can't say enough good things about this record. 6/5.
