Your Arsenal
Morrisseymorrissey might be a twat but he makes decent music
morrissey might be a twat but he makes decent music
goated
Big fan. Some really good lesser known songs. Remastered version songs weren't too special.
Dank vibes, does drag on a bit
Interesting to compare with their more modern/popular stuff. Pretty neat but not my favorite
listenable and fine
singles unlistenable in 2023 middle tracks fine, some bangers i'm sure it was a 5 star for my dad but its gonna be a 2 today
7th best queen album
P dank
dated and bad
Undeniable
I learned something new today
Very long winded, some really good songs in there. Ultimately a bit of a slog but I recognize it's place
Not my speed, maybe a different day
It's an ABBA album with none of the ABBA songs you know. As expected, I would go 2.5 if possible
Not usually a jazz guy but I thoroughly enjoyed it
I love the yeah yeah yeahs and this album but the pacing is so strange and inconsistent I have trouble giving it a 5
It just didn't keep my attention. I'm sure it was very influential for proto punk but wasn't hitting for me
It was something, not super interesting. Glad to have some new music represented but this didn't feel especially groundbreaking. Probably would have been 2.5.
just lovely, plenty of all time bangers
Strange contrast between famous ABBA bangers and pretty mid songs. Opposite of how I usually feel about singles in older albums which is interesting.
I might have grinder stockholm syndrome but I liked it
Dustin Music. Not as good as Metroid Prime soundtrack though
I kinda just don't like his voice. songwriting is really good though.
pretty dank, almost 4 stars, may return and give it another listen
embarrassingly overplayed but goated
surprisingly iconic
I liked it, reminded me of ween
Im sure it sounded better in ‘97. Skits were fine. Needs a little bit more umph
Would be solid 4 back in the day. Some real bangers
First half is all bangers, second half decent. Very soft 4
Soft 5 but just dank
Very interesting and fun, Geno is a banger, but ska just isn't quite it for me
fart smelly but not that bad
Very good, didn't realize how many songs I know despite not recognizing the name. Only criticism is it all sounds the same
I can't really handle Bob Dylan, being generous with 3 here
Nothing special
Good not great
It was interesting and strange
Incredibly impressive live performance, I was not in the mood for it though. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
Iconic song but mid album
Interesting and pretty good
Actually interesting seemed to change pace and genre a lot
Almost 4 stars. Quite interesting.
She's real good. Some slow parts on the album but overall nice
Fart smelly and sad but I thought it was pretty decent. Not sure where the obsessions with him comes from
Dank
Somewhat interesting but a slog
I don't even know man, I listened to it, but did I even care? I don't know.
It gets 3 stars because it's blur. But it's far too long.
excellent. close to a 4 though
Liked it a lot. Sounds kinda like bowie, looks to have influenced ratatat based on the album cover, only knew get it on before this.
morrissey might be a twat but he makes decent music
Same as last time, can't stand his voice. Reminds me how I feel about Bob Dylan. Not a terrible album though.
Soft 5
Actually so good
Decent but long
Maybe I'm amazed takes this from almost a 2 to almost a 4.
Really good, surprised I'd never heard of him. Giving it a 4 because even though I listened to it twice through I still had to remind myself what it sounded like 3 days later. Missing the X factor I suppose.
couldn't do it, no disrespect to mr. mingus
Couple good songs. Overall none of the bangers. Just alright
nice and sweet but clearly dated
Pretty interesting story, neat album but not my favorite. Less good than the kooks
It's got the vibe
Very solid and great history
Pretty solid but didn't really grab my attention too much. Might need another listen later
My favorite Dan album and an all time classic
10/5 iconic
If I really pay attention, I can start to see why people enjoy it so much. But for casual listening, I don't enjoy it much at all.
Budget beatles type. Not very interesting just standard oldie tunes
2 because it was rad how it was made and the creativity but it’s just weird and not in such a good way for me
More Dan! Not as good as the main sequence albums though. Seems to incorporate a little bit more jazz? Enjoyable
Started off slow, grew to enjoy it by the end. Considerations for revisiting
Super influential, bangs
No bad songs, just a vibe. Thought it was too overplayed but listened to it anyways and it still works.
I think New Order is better. Not sure where all the hype comes from around the album. It was pretty good but not amazing.
Gonna be honest, did not finish. I'm sure it has some value for a certain trip-hop vibe but it wasn't resonating for me
Frank's got a thing and he sticks with it. Thankfully that style is enjoyable, but he doesn't really switch it up too often. Borderline 4 but gets a 3 because it wasn't interesting enough.
Long and couldn’t deal with it
Surprisingly enjoyable. beep boop
Childish but good punk
Mixed, strange, getting closer
Really unique style, didn't like it at first but I can see why it's popular. Respect to the dude
Very good, I can see why it was such a movement back in the day.
Third dan album in my first 100. Not complaining, it's the third 5 star.
Excellent stones album another of my favs
Not what people usually think of when they think of Queen. Haven't gone for it in a while but I did enjoy this listen. Probably cracks top 10 Queen albums.
Surprisingly the first time I've listened to the whole thing I think. Didn't really resonate as much for me as a kid as similar groups, I think it would easily be a 5 with some nostalgia factor. I don't see running it every day in 2024 though.
simply iconic, enjoyed listening to british version over US this time even though it's just one track.
Pretty sick
Excellent as usual
sleepy but nice as usual
Huge 5, top 3 beatles albums if not number 1, always listenable 24/7
Johnny is really good live
only bangers
Was wondering why only Tiny Dancer and Levon had any amount of plays, they are indeed far and away the best songs on the album. Levon #1 of course.
I'm sure it was revolutionary but doesn't really stand up even to other REM albums in my opinion, kinda dragging
Fantastic album despite that most of the songs are played out for me. One of my first ever concerts. Their best work along with permanent waves.
Surprisingly pretty dang good
Wasn't feeling it today don't know why. I didn't know she was so extremely popular though that's cool
Wasn't really doing it for me
It was alright, kinda weird and slow, I remember enjoying animal collective more
Mom had this on repeat as I was a kid. Just full of bangers. Always will have a soft spot from me.
Titular track was ass. Rest of it was pretty OK but not as good as self titled or queen is dead.
big iron
Pretty soft 4, only criticism is that it's pretty same-same all the way through. But enjoyable
Forgettable but just fine
Didn't realize how kinda jam-bandy they got. Whole album plays together pretty well, sounds a little dated but enjoyable as always.
Made it all the way through which is good for his type of music. Pretty nice.
It's Dad Rock but it's actually just a really solid album.
Seems like an even more dated Nick Drake. Pretty solid but just a little thin.
best mj
Goes hard af, not necessarily my cuppa tea but can't deny he's got style
