On The Beach
Neil YoungNeil young just sounds like a whiny bitch but I liked this one more than the last one
Neil young just sounds like a whiny bitch but I liked this one more than the last one
Yeah I really like this. So different with strong blues undertones but a great flow
Good album. Like the middle the most and that solemn guitar
Weird but not awful couple of songs I liked staggerlee
Solid album, actually liked I want you sheβs so heavy or whatever which is a song Iβve always skipped over by them. Octopuses garden had no business ever being written let alone recorded
Have been listening to this one for a decade now. Dream Brother is an absolutely phenomenal song.
Listened to the first song which was fine but itβs not my music
Not my kind of music, didnβt really listen past the second song
Ugh pantera π Better than I was expecting, the second song was my favorite, mostly sounds like a Metallica wannabe.
Fucking solid album
Black album was better but justice for all be the best
Oh my god itβs a mirage the beastie boys have never been good
Neil young just sounds like a whiny bitch but I liked this one more than the last one
The song about getting high cuz we can die any day was good
Really liked it, fucking dark and really gay too. Kinda got fed up with all the characters heβd play for each song with the voices and shit. Bonnie and Clyde was a stand out
Got me laid 5/5 would play again
Beautiful day and elevation were the only worthwhile 8 mins of the album, and even elevation is only because of the OHHHHOH
Sounds like the intro to an anime
Liked it a lot more than expected, no songs really stuck out to me (I was studying so the music wasnβt at the forefront of my attention) but maybe Iβll check out talking heads down the line with a more open mind
One of my favorite albums love it
Porcelain is such a boring uninspired song and really detracts from the album. Fat dance is one of my favorites and cuntzilla always makes me laugh
Randy Newman really just went for the jugular opening with rednecks huh? Like βoh itβs not like Iβm gonna be scoring Disney soundtracks or some shit later on I see no issue in issue in using the n-word in the refrain of the opening songβ. Idk what he was thinking with that move but he sings like someone with Down syndrome speaks and a lot of the songs were just uninteresting for me.
Actually really liked elegΓa and sunrise, could actually hear some of joy division in those songs which was cool because I never liked the poppy sound of new order. Would give it a 3.5 but thatβs not an option and itβs definitely not a 4
Axl rose is such a douche
Solid 3.5
Kind of just meh unremarkable
A great album. Enjoyed it since first hearing βYesβ 12 years ago. Yes, ifwhiteamerica, walking abortion, archives of pain, 4st 7lb, mausoleum, intense humming all have powerful poignant lyrics and the sound is a good embodiment of British rock.
Honestly got tired of his screaming style of singing on some of the songs it was kinda grating
Liked more than anticipated. Would give 3.5 but thatβs not an option and Iβm feeling generous
Really liked it would give it a 4.5 because itβs not a 5 so 4 it is. Iβll give you money was a never before heard stand out.
Only the first song really stuck out to me and it was more just like βahhhh so this is who this song is byβ
I donβt really like rap but can still appreciate good rap, this just sucked. The lyrics were childish, basic, felt clunky, and just stupid. βIf you canβt handle the D then parental discretion advisedβ or some shit like what the fuck was that? The whole thing just felt corny and the beats were nothing to drive home about, half of them were just annoying and grating and thatβs coming from a Nine Inch Nails fan
As a nine inch nails fan I was excited for my first foray into Depeche Mode and to listen to one of Trentβs influences. Definitely see the influence, especially on pretty hate machine even if this album came out after PHM did. Personal Jesus, enjoy the silence, are two cool catchy songs with a nice groove
Some songs were just basic 60 pop rock songs, some actually really kicked ass. Probably wonβt listen to it again though
First time listening to a whole queen album and it was phenomenal
Run through the jungle, through the grapevine, up around the bend, lookinβ out my back door, bad moon rising, ramble tamble, whoβll stop the rain, long as I can see the light. Goddamn this is a good fookin album solid 4.5
Really unphenomenal
Was excited for Patti Smith but really was just giving βOIL SPILL OIL SPILLβ vibes the whole time
Eh
Toxicity is a lot better but still some pretty solid songs
Omelette du fromage
Last song sounded really familiar but canβt say why
Was not expecting some Irish st pattys day shit but not bad
Wu-Tang forever
When the levee breaks, going to California, stairway to heaven, nuff said
I understand why Ian Curtis killed himself listening to this album. All jokes aside it was actually pretty solid and idc for iggs all that much but I enjoyed it. Definitely see the influence it had on joy divisions sound
Dude definitely needs Garfunkel
Wish I looked at this on Christmas instead of listening to shitty Christmas playlists on Spotify
Solid smooth jazz, made me feel like an adult
The band carries majority of the album. First half is pretty solid latter half kinda really sucks except for black chick white guy
Honestly a fantastic album, much better than I anticipated going into it
Blowinβ in the wind is fantastic, the rest was kinda mid
I did not like this album one bit
Not bad but nothing great Iβd give it a 3.5
Album cover was the best part of the album
After ten minutes I was sick of The Beach Boys. Wouldnβt it be nice is great though but I think of that still of Pedro pascal smiling every time I hear it
Kinda crazy how the first song goes from exorcist theme to something completely different. It wasnβt bad but it sounds kinda like a kid fucking around with a tape recorder who struck it big because a movie producer liked the first 2 minutes of his 25 minute song.
Love this album. Ted just admit it is one of their best songs. Summertime rolls fucking sucks and is the biggest gap in the album and I forget it exists cuz I always skip it. Studio version of Jane says is a little flat and lacks some of the layers of the live version but great album.
This was just a bad album I did not like it
Sounds like the 90s version of the smiths but happier. Honestly itβs a shame the band distanced themselves from so young because that is a fantastic song and wouldβve added a little more flavor/variety to the album. The little jam at the end of I am the resurrection is very cool though
Their best album, great flow of songs I love the drumming and the tone on the guitars not a single bad song on the album
Felt a little too long but pretty good
Billie Jean is the only song I really liked on this album. Thrillers alright but yeah I just donβt really like Michael jackson
I donβt like Dre and wasnβt vibing to the album. Had a beer and smoked a bowl while doing homework and put this on starting with deez nuts and was vibing to it a lot more
I liked nick caves morbid songs about death more
They were never one of my favorites but I was finally able to get into 4th of July, mailman, limo wreck after years of listening to this. Spoonman is still their best song tjoufh
Johnny rottens obnoxious voice gets old quick
Better than the last beach boys album
I actually really liked it as much as I hate to admit because Kanyeβs an asshole nazi piece of shit
Yeah I really like this. So different with strong blues undertones but a great flow
Actually some good country
Eh I never really liked the smiths
I donβt like R&B but I liked this
Took me a couple of songs before I realized it was black Francis. Pixies are better
Really liked the last song, not bad felt a little too long and like he couldβve cut a couple of songs
Canβt believe the album was only 20 mins
