Alexander 'Skip' SpenceThis is the kind of album I wanna find in doing this thing — never heard of it and never would have known it existed. And instead now I have and it was awesome

The Cure’s best album imo. Great from beginning to end.
Computer Blue was awesome and I was unaware of its existence — radio songs are all all-time bangers. Easy 5
0.0 — total dogshit
Awesome — Three Hours is a perfect fit for a movie montage.
Better than I expected
Leaving the 1 star open for the truly terrible — but this sucked. Child in Time truly excruciating. Boooo
Turns out I don’t like listening to this much jazz in a row
Unexpected awesomeness. When I saw an hour and a half of 8 minute long Icelandic music I did not expect it to be the best thing I’ve listened to in a while.
I’d give this 3.5 if I could — 60s harmonies are always excellent. I liked it overall but feel like I’ve gotta be into it to go 4 or higher
Guitars throughout are awesome. 70s punk banger I was completely unaware of and enjoyed thoroughly
Guiding Light is an excellent song. Up and downs w this — kinda lost me when it got a little too Phish-y. But some definite high points as well.
Middle of the road for me. Would like to give it a 2.5 instead of 3. Monday was a good song.
Wish I could vote zero stars.
It’s a 3.5 that i can’t rate that way, so I’ll give it a 3. Listened to a couple tracks multiple times after the first run through. After Hours and Youthful Expression are the standouts for me
Middle of the road again today — enjoyable but nothing too exciting. Reggae always good to nod ya head to
Bucket is excellent. Good record. Good band.
I’d like to rate it 3.75 but rounded up because the songs that hit, hit very hard. But there’s way too many meh songs and the excellence of the good ones get washed out overall. Overall enjoyed it
Tightest rhythm section I’ve heard in a minute and the songs all groove insanely hard. Excellent throughout
It’s a 2.5 but I’ll give it a 3 cuz I enjoyed the vibes until they wore me out after the first few songs. If you love 90s guitar effects this is the record for you
Not a 1 star but not good at all. Boring and plodding. Yawwwwwn
2.5. Boring boomer shit as per usual.
Hardcore straight edge noise ain’t for me. No hate just nothing to hang my hat on here
Kinda reminds me of Paul Revere & the Raiders but with often messy production value. Middle of the road for me. I’d give it a 2.75 if I could
Truly one of the best albums of all time. Thriller into Beat It into Billie Jean is untouchable
The Cure’s best album imo. Great from beginning to end.
Had it at 3.5 but bumped it to 4 on another listen. Nothing here is excellent but it’s solid and the vibes are always cool and his voice rules imo
3 songs were good. The rest were trash. No bueno
Night Train remains an eternal banger. Timeless.
4.5
Boring meandering repetitive pretentious. No bueno
Computer Blue was awesome and I was unaware of its existence — radio songs are all all-time bangers. Easy 5
No bad tracks. Wasn’t overly familiar beyond a couple songs — and Epic is the only one I knew well. Extremely good stuff
Very pleasantly surprised how much this got me in the feels. Rain, Rain, Beatiful Rain multiple times today. Feels good
Not as good as their very best but it’s still Sgt Peppers. 5
3.5 —perfect baby making music but i don’t think I’d sit down and listen to this whole album outside of that scenario. It’s not bad but I went from a 4 to a 3.5 from ear fatigue
All bangers and I’m kinda shook I didn’t know this was as good as it is. Easy 5 stars
Fine
3.5
Borrrrrrrinnnnngggfg
Weird on purpose. But I fucked w it. Laughing and Sentimental Journey are both awful but the good stuff is really good
Not for everyone but these a lot of cool riffs in this. I dug it
3.5 — enjoyable but I wear out easy on reggae
This is the kind of album I wanna find in doing this thing — never heard of it and never would have known it existed. And instead now I have and it was awesome
3.5
Tired but a classic
2.5 — listened on an airplane stressed out and It felt like I kept waiting for it to get to the good part
4.5
3.5 mostly meh w a couple good songs
Excellent
Iggy the most underrated front man ever
Meh
Real bad — “Only a Hobo” was noteworthy in its cringyness
2.5 — didn’t enjoy much but I love Dolly so it’s rounded up
0 stars if I could — unlistenable
Surprisingly into this one
Weird but fun
2.5 — would never put it on for fun but the musicianship is strong throughout. Feels like some uncle’s garage jams
0.0 — total dogshit
So 90s but it has its moments
Super evocative. Loved it
Bangers all. Love Interruption 🙌🏻
Running Dry is a standout
Incredible.
