Ready To Die
The Notorious B.I.G.Love Biggie. I grew up on Biggie and Pac. Can't go wrong listening to one of the greatest rap albums of all time.
Love Biggie. I grew up on Biggie and Pac. Can't go wrong listening to one of the greatest rap albums of all time.
Another reminder about the fact that I just don't understand why Radiohead is so popular. They have maybe 2 songs in their whole discography that I like. Pass.
Very easy to listen to, but no single track stands out to me.
This album is a classic for a reason. Every song is enjoyable and blends together nicely.
Not for me. I like synth-pop, but this is too melancholy in an annoying kind of way.
Very classic rock, very British. Every song sort of blends together which is a good thing; it means the album is cohesive.
Didn't recognize the band or the album, but as soon as the 2nd sing hit, I got a wave of nostalgia. Pretty good stuff.
One of my favorite old school hip hop albums.
Classic album, classic band. Can't go wrong listening to this.
Love me some Hendrix. Can't go wrong giving out with this one.
Never heard this album before. Really enjoyable. Smooth prog rock.
I don't even know where to begin. It sounds experimental, yet well put together? Very indie, very melodic, but not for me.
The classic beats, the flow, the ability of each member to blend their styles into each song; this album was one of my favorites back in the day.
Cool melodies, very alt rock. If you had told me this album came out in the early 2000s, I would've believed you.
Very experimental sounding. It's not for me.
Love Biggie. I grew up on Biggie and Pac. Can't go wrong listening to one of the greatest rap albums of all time.
Fantastic album. There's a reason everyone likes Pink Floyd.
Classic. Love it. The production, the lyrics, the features. It's perfect.
Not for me. Kinda folksy, jazzy, I don't know.
Awesome. The kinda rap rock that makes you miss the days of rap rock.
Awesome grunge rock. I've heard the band's name before but I've never listened to them. Really eye-opening.
Not bad. I've heard a lot about Tom Waits over the years but never checked him out for some reason. Good introduction to him.
I've never really been a fan of U2. Still, this album is pretty good.
Great band, great album. Nothing really stood out to me, but they definitely have a unique sound.
Awesome. Rock at its finest.
Very political so it's not my taste, but it sounds good and is fun.
Very 80s. Not my favorite kind of 80s pop though.
Sounds a little modern but isn't. Cool soundscape.
Good old fashioned country, back when country was good.
As weird as their sound is, the Talking Heads are unique. It's difficult to mistake their songs for any other band. This album isn't my favorite by them, but it still rocks pretty hard.
Quintessential folk-rock. Very easy to listen to, but nothing really stood out to me.
Wow, I feel like I've heard all of these songs before whether through movies or other media. Fantastic album. Lots of fun.
Good, not bad. Very much of its time. Never heard of this band.
Iconic. The songs on this album have been played over and over again in all kinds of media since I was a kid. Not exactly easy listening, but it hits that millennial nostalgia so hard.
Millennial magic. Great album, great songs.
I understand the importance of By Dylan and why he's so beloved, but his music has never touched me like it has so many other people. Not for me.
Legendary rock album. What else is there to say? If you don't recognize the intro riff to Smoke on the Water then you're uncultured.
Sounds like the beginnings of alt-rock and punk rock in one album. Loved it!
Even though I have no idea what they're saying, this psychedelic rock band can jam. Interesting use of traditional Brazilian instruments to make catchy beats. Enjoyable to an extent.
My 2nd Bob Dylan review. My opinion in his music hasn't changed.
I'm not a fan of live albums. I'm a fan of jazz though.
About a year ago, I listened to this album on repeat while working nights. Absolutely recommend it for staying awake and jamming out.
Very is very synthy and poppy. The Pet Shop Boys are one of those pop duos that I've heard the name and heard the music but never connected the two. Overall, fun album, but every songs sounds alike to me.
This was like a showcase of all the things I dislike about the electronic/DJ/90s party music genre.
Very catchy tunes. Nothing really stood out to me though.
A couple of fun songs on here.
There's a noticeable '90s sound combined with the sound of the 2000s. Decent album, not his best work though.
I didn't really like folk rock until I heard this album. Easy to listen to, meaningful lyrics, and great storytelling. Not perfect, but close.
Not bad. I enjoyed some of the album and can definitely see myself listening to one or two songs in the future, but nothing about the album really stood out to me.
Part upbeat, part melancholy, all kinda boring to be honest.
I've never really liked David Bowie and never understood why people were so obsessed with him. Sure, he was unique, but his music never really made me feel anything really. This album did not change my opinion of him.
Classic American rock. Folksy and fun.
This is my 2nd review for a Kate Bush album I think I just don't like Kate Bush.
One of the greatest of all time. Pioneers in the genre. This album is fun, catchy, cohesive, and relatable. Everything a great album needs to be truly great.
One of my all-time favorite albums. Raw lyricism.
Easy to listen to. Each track smoothly transitions into the next. Very good vibes.
Brooding, melancholic, and folksy. Very slow overall, but not a bad sound.
An interesting blend of genres. The first track drew my attention and the album as a while managed to keep my attention.
Another reminder about the fact that I just don't understand why Radiohead is so popular. They have maybe 2 songs in their whole discography that I like. Pass.
Shout out to Jack Black for putting me on AC/DC when I was a kid. This album was on repeat in my elementary days and really expanded my view of rock music.
Pretty cool UK rock 'n' roll. Classic sound, classic style.
I can see her influence of punk rock and poetry style lyricism. A very interesting listen. I'd never heard of her before now, but I recognized a few of the songs off this album.
I can definitely understand why Venom is considered a major influence on all metal. Every song hits hard and is unique while maintaining a cohesive theme.
Really chill album. I can see myself cruising around with this music playing. I've never even heard of Ms. Dynamite but I'm incredibly impressed.
Classic 80s pop. Catchy, makes you wanna dance.
Really cool. Whole album sounds like one long jam session in a jazz lounge.
I hadn't heard of SZA until this album; mostly thanks to Kendrick. Her singing is incredible and unique despite comparisons to amazing singers of the previous generation like Rihanna and Beyonce.
Very interesting, catchy 90s pop-rock. I can see why some people have this on their top rock albums of all time list. I find the singing to be a little discordant though.
