I was obsessed with those first 4 Elvis albums in high school. He's kind of baby and I don't know what I saw in his voice. The Attractions sound amazing though

Formative album, formative band. One time I saw em play without a drummer, they had a fight. Drums came from a tiny cd player sitting on a stool. It was also a formative show :)

I like the stones just fine but every album gets 2 stars, except Some Girls which will get 5 stars because it's the only truly good album they ever made :)

Hmmm. Another one of those albums I wish I liked, or I feel like I should like but it's just kinda boring. I remember loving been caught stealing as a little kid but I mean who could dislike that one. Dave Navarro was hot, Perry Ferrell is crazy, the bass lines sound like Seinfeld, it's fine to play at a bbq with other 40/50 something's the end

This felt a lot longer than it was. I think I've heard the popular ones way too many times and the rest of it was already been digested by pop culture long ago. It sounds really dated and boring. Pretty songs though!

Wow what a record. I remember downloading these songs one by one on Napster when I was a nu metal weirdo in high school. To think I could still be listening to kid rock in southern Missouri if not for the Dead Kennedys and the ramones whew

Seemed like this would be kinda fun and different but then it just ended up sounding like generic 70's white guy blues rock. I listened to Mojo Nixon after and I'd give him 10/10 though

I feel very close to this album. We're basically the same age and everything. Not a bad song in the bunch, "catapult" is perfect

I'd heard a bunch of this randomly throughout the years but I've never listened to it all the way through. "Went crazy" will end up on a bunch of playlists but I'm not sure I'll return to much else from this album. If I'd heard this before echo and the bunnymen I probably would've been obsessed

I had never heard any of these tracks and I wasn't sure what to expect but I really enjoyed this! I'll be coming back to this one for sure

Oh wow I didn't know they kept going after ride the lighting, too bad cause I love that one. The drums suck bad. Like bad bad....does Lars drum with kitchen whisks or something? Why does it sound like a bunch of mice are breaking tiny glasses in unison? And did ayn rand write these lyrics? Man I hated this how did it win a grammy

Hasn't aged very well but Emmylou sounds amazing as always, god she's great.

Goddamn music is so great. Especially loud fuzzy rocknroll. Listening to this feels like I just drank a big ol glass of water and I'm ready to go

Woof. Yeah I dunno. I remember when this came out and Jeremy played on a loop on MTV for like 5 years straight. I'd heard all these songs but never in one loooooooong stretch like this. It was fun to listen to I guess but I truly never understood why they got the grunge label. It's arena rock and it's kinda lame

The beginning of the end

Firstly, I want to say how much affinity I have for 80's/90's singer songwriters with a punky edge. I mean you name em, I probably love em. I'd never heard this band, despite being a vacuum for this sort of thing, so I gotta say I was excited. It's enjoyable! If I'd heard it at the right time and place maybe I'd love it. But like, right now it really doesn't connect.

This is obviously just a perfect rock album. Even if you don't like it, it's still perfect. I don't always feel like listening to it but it's still perfect. I've heard foxy lady 10,000 times and I'm attracted to men but when it starts, how can you end it? The first time I smoked a joint by myself this is the album I put on and when the title track came on I was like...oh yeah, got it. I almost never listen to this but every time I do it's perfect

I hated this 30 years ago when it had a resurgence in the mid 90's and I hate it even more now. Everything about it. Even just the words I'd need to use to describe it. If you make it through "Vincent" in one sitting you should go get a hotdog or something to reward yourself
