1001 Albums Summary

ive always loved fast car (i cry every time i hear it), but i had never listened to any of her other songs before. no other song on the album could compare in the slightest but i feel like i got something out of hearing the whole album regardless. for my lover was my second favorite.

umm i did not like it at all. fairy feller's master-stroke and nevermore were my favorites, those ones i actually kinda liked. but ya i hated the rest. just really not for me. oh well

grateful that there are only 9 songs because jesus this was awful. the absolute worse kind of 80's music. i'm honestly shocked there are people out there that enjoy this. nostalgia is the only explanation. but anyway other than "in your eyes" (nostalgia, like i said) "big time" was my favorite, it was pretty catchy.

I love this album and it's very nostalgic for me. Favorite song is probably America but Old friends is a close second. Well and also Mrs Robinson and Hazy shade of winter. Such a soothing album

it's pretty fun background music. not my favorite but not bad at all. peaches in regalia and little umbrellas were my favorites

off to a bad start... has gotten worse somehow. i can't even make it through the full songs. this is one of the worst collection of songs I have ever heard. ball and chain was the least bad one.

obviously love hotel california and i used to love new kid in town in high school for some reason but it turns out those are the only good songs on the album.

mostly all enjoyable with a few really good ones. nostalgic.

not really for me but not bad. i had no idea changes was originally a black sabbath song so that was interesting to find out

got so excited when i saw this was the album for today. i love this album so much. this album has some of his best songs. it makes me feel so many different emotions.

really good. easy listening but in a complimentary way not insulting. just like music that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed.

TERRIBLE

very relaxing to work to. like actually i think there's something in this that makes it easier to do my work. Especially Maesha. That was really good. I did my taxes to that.

oh brother. painful. couldn't listen to a single one the whole way through

one of my favorites so far! i had never gotten around to listening to orbital other than halycon and on and on and boy was i missing out

a lot of unnecessary guitar solos. nothing particularly memorable. just very generic dad rock. i think hush is the only song i actually like by them and it's not on this album. not nearly as painful as the aerosmith album i had the other day though. i can listen to the whole album without having to skip, which has to count for something.

soO good. milk is my favorite song by them but the whole album is good as a whole as well. the lead singer has such a beautiful and haunting voice. i love how unmistakably 90's it is.

sickly sweet, bland, and stereotypically 80's. not for me.

timeless and so fun

bit too stereotypically british for me. very hokey. just sounds like a random old guy doing some silly rhymes. it could maybe work if he had a nicer voice but that isn't the case. you know it's bad when i feel forced to set my spotify to private out of embarrassment

it doesn't have the version of i talk to the wind that i like

fun and funky. beginning of stay reminds me of home depot though

a little painful to listen to electric feel and kids in 2026 but they were so important for me developing my music taste as a child. sooooo nostalgic

well paper planes is one of the best songs ever made obviously. there were a couple other ones on the album i liked but that was by far the standout

i enjoyed this. very cool

reminds me of my parents. its crazy how timeless some of it sounds. i never noticed before but christopher owens has almost the same voice as elvis costello. they both kinda sound like they have a cold (in a good way). i don't love most of the songs though and the beat remains the best one on this album

this album wasnt really for me (i hate really long songs for the most part) but i feel like i could like other songs by him

i like beck a lot but i just know individual songs scattered across his many albums so i was very excited to listen to one album of his all the way through. where it's at is my least favorite so far.... ok ya theres not really a song that i love on this album. devils haircut and ramshackle are my favorite of the bunch though

ive already listened to this album the whole way through multiple times but im excited to hear it again. death of a party will always be my favorite song by them

i like the songs individually but i find that i cant listen to multiple back to back without getting slightly irritated/ sick of it. i think it's just her voice gets a little grating after a while. but again i do like the songs

killer queen and lily of the valley were good but the rest were not my cup of tea

i was surprised to see this album on here. i only knew of him from seeing him open for andrew bird. he was amazing live but i really only like where dreams go to die on this album. some of the other ones were ok but that's the only one i continue to listen to over the years
