Let's get it on is strong enough to get this off the 1 star floor, and I see Marvin knew what he had there when he went back to the well on the remix (first appearance of a remix?) Anyways, "You sure love to ball" is hilariously pornographic. Marvin gay is talented but this album made me sleepy.

Sucked. I'm sorry nick drake died young, but he said "time has told me" forty times in that first song and I not only disliked it, but I began to feel a rage growing deep inside. Had to turn it off or I might have gotten violent.

I like beats and drums, but unfortunately I was not high enough to enjoy this on a weekday. Maybe once murphy figures out how to sell weed in New Jersey I can come back and reassess.

I was excited when I saw this selection but I was very underwhelmed. Loved the first few tracks, reminded me of listening to this in like 7th grade. Mustve lost interest after that even back then, because I forgot about the numerous instrumental tracks, which were unremarkable for thr most part. Wanted some beat boxing mc'ing, and while I respect the attempt, not what I was looking for.

Uninspiring and frankly boring. Heard of this band but luckily I never listened before and I won't again. Kind of like deep sea fishing. Only need one go to know it's not for you. And I appreciate that.

My old kentucky home was a fantastic finisher. Sounded like beach boys bob dylan.

Reminded me of Garbage, the band, though I can see if you took that statement literally. Felt like they were trying to annoy me with the droning guitar chords. I felt like I was in a kindergarten classroom and there was a constant underlying hum permeating my conscience. Thought I could hear a good song in there once and a while but couldn't find it long enough to know.. very unpleasant experience.

Fun. Know the guy but never listened.

You know what, i didn't like it. Obviously imagine is an important and great song, but outside of that, if i was a Beatles fan and they broke up, I would be disappointed with this solo effort.

While I dont dislike this, never hearing it wouldn't be one of my life's regrets.

I dont know what I thought Jethro Tull was, but I wasn't expecting medieval times rock. But now I at least get what jack black was doing with tenacious d, it was a Jethro Tull bit. Pretty good. But I did not like this.

One of the worst albums I have ever listened to. I have never respected the bee gees and this lowered my opinion.

Not really my thing but I liked it. Weird inflection on words sounded like trolling and I appreciate that. I'm a big fan of mispronounced names.

This album sounded sing songy, like a Broadway play. Probably what they were going for, with the title and all, but I didn't think it was their best stuff. Nick's wedding song and bohemian rhapsody both featured though.

I wanted to like this 90s album. I will give it one more chance.

I remember Nick having this tape and the cover art of the burning guy. I remember not even knowing what the image was, just looked like a bunch of scribbles to me. And the music was scary, specifically "freedom." Reminded me of Derek's cd's, like metallica, pantera, and gwar. Obviously this is a great album, but its message has changed drastically to me these days.
