I expect a lot from David Bowie. I know that this was his last album and he was dying while making this record, but I am just not a fan of this one. This doesnt even come close to Ziggy Stardust or some of his other albums. Girl loves me was a solid song. I liked the ending of the last track too. A lot of different noises and sounds on this record. He was a special artist. 3/10 he has much better albums.
I was pretty damn bored through the first 6 songs, it was not hitting at all for me. Highkey i was dreading track 7 bc it was about 10 minutes long. That track smacked. Then i realized it was a blues-ish rock album and it made more sense. 2nd half of the album was damn good actually. Layla goes harder than everything obviously. Good album 6/10
The 5 hits on this album go crazy. The rest is fine, but nothing special. I might be being a hardo here but I cant give it above a 7 because the other 4 songs are nowhere close to the bangers. 7/10
Pretty good. Super heavy rock that reminds me of nirvana, soundgarden, pearl jam. You could have had me guess the decade and i could have told you within 5 seconds of the first song. Not that its a bad thing, but it doesnt sound like it could come out today. Rooster bangs. 6/10
This was not it y'all. I would describe this album as if you went to see a 70s cover band and they played 0 songs you actually know. Not like the music was bad, there just wasnt anything going on that made me wanna listen again. Generic af 2/10
Starts out with a bang with Our lips are sealed. We got the beat goes crazy too. I would call this a groovy album you can chill too even though they were going kind of hard. Also i thought the vibes sounded really consistent throughout the whole thing which just makes any album better. Good 7/10
I'm all for respecting legends, but this was boring as FUCKKKKKKKK. Who the hell is listening to this in 2022? 30 days was a cool beat but still got old. Literally the same basic beat on every fucking song christ. They have nice voices but this aint it. Its not tricky 1/10
Currently seeking out a disco club to get down to this. Le freak just goes wild. Highkey i think I want your love might be the best song on here. This shit just makes you want to move. Grooooooooovy 6/10
I have no idea what the fuck I just listened to. 3/10
I feel like there was probably a message in this album, but I was bored as fuck and tuned out. Somehow this is only an hour long - it felt like 2. I just wanted this shit to end after song 5. IM SAULTY 1/10
This is definitely not the type of music i listen to. She has a beautiful voice and its pretty jazzy. Not bad but boring. Great background music 4/10
Muddy has a cool ass voice. This is just classic jazz man. Not my kind of music but I can appreciate it. If i went to a jazz club this is what i would want to hear (I am not going to any jazz clubs) 4/10
This is the second rage album I listened to. The first one was a little later in their career where they knew their sound. This album feels like they just don't know where they're going with some of the songs. Dudes voice is great but can get old. Really did not like the 2nd half of the album 2/10
This is quality music. I had no clue higher ground was stevies song, I thought it was the RH Chili Peppers honestly. That song went brazy! Though i do think this is quality stuff I will say I was a little tuned out for the first half of this album. Not like it was bad but just wasn't catching me until higher ground. 2nd half was pretty good! I would probably like this more on another listen. 6/10
This shit was too ridiculous for me. Sound like a church choir while also trying to be the doors. Out on that 1/10
When this first started I thought it was going to be another boring ass mfin album with no words and all beats. But you know what? When this album ended i wanted to keep listening. The back half of the album is just super chill and reminded me of pink floyd. Good album! 6/10
Old vibes on the first couple songs. Like reaaallllllly old. Got way better after 4 or 5 songs. Shut em down great song i have no idea how i know that song though. Not a essential listen at all 4/10
Oh hell yeah we gettin real country in this bitch. Cant say this is my genre at all but this shit bangs. Every song just sounds so poweful and heavy even when theres some parts where theres barely any noise. This absolutely doms mostly all current country music 7/10
Not bad at all. Has some really interesting songs sprinkled around. There are a few bad ones too. Honestly when he gets too crazy with his voice im not a fan, I think he sounds much better just normally singing. A little interesting but also meh 5/10
This is a new low for this app. If you even give this album 2 stars I don't know if I can ever take you seriously again. I think this might be the worst album I have ever listened to and that's saying something. 0/10 FUCK YOU
Based on your guys' reviews i was expected a banger of an album. This is just basic 1950s music? I dont see anything special about this at all. Decent background music im sure. 4/10
I was so disappointed the song from Elf was not on this album! This dude has a very distinct voice and sound. Very jazzy and chill 5/10
The front half of this album is incredible. Rocket - Animal - love bites -sugar is a ridiculous run of songs. 2nd half of the album is good but doesnt come close to the 1st half. How do they only have 6 million listeners on spotify??? GAS 8/10
I have never heard a common song before and that first track caught me off guard. I thought it was gonna be another album with generic beats but thats not the case at all. This album would probably be a good listen if even common didnt say a word. He is a hell of a rapper. ye west 7/10
This was not bad. Super spacey vibes on this record. This is not a conventional album, it sounds a little off somehow. Just some different noises on here than i am used to. Hejira Hejira Hejira 4/10
This was a solid album, but its the rolling stones so I expected more. Not that its bad at all, its pretty good but when you're one of the best bands ever, I expect more. I am starting to realize how bluesy of a band the stones are. Mick jagger hip thrust 5/10
Very fun album! If you're not moving to this idk what the hell you are on. Play this shit at the bar and I guarantee people get down to it. I looked em up and somehow this band isnt from Ireland, so they automatically get knocked a point for that. Irish eyes is a good bar in Chicago 7/10
This was pretty boring I must say. To be fair I was embattled in an NHL 17 playoff race the entire time. Go flyers 2020 champs 1/10
Johnny rotten is one of my favorite singers. This album slaps, its a great mix of punk and rock music thats sounds great 40+ years later. Best track by far is anarchy in the uk, what a fucking fantastic song. Rip sid vicious 8/10
This album is just full of energy right from the beginning. This is my 2nd megadeth album and i liked this one way more than the other. I thought it was going to go crazy the whole time, but they knew when to slow/quiet it down. Electric 7/10
Pretty interesting album although I would definitely not say I enjoyed it very much. Its creative though I'll give them that and its better than a ton of shitty albums we've heard on here. The mid volta 3/10
Some iconic songs on this album. Crawling was great. In the end all time banger. A lot of screaming on this record and im not a fan of it the whole time. I think this has some good songs but as a whole this album does not stand out to me. Rip chester 6/10
Some classic trumpet 50s music here. Although I generally would not listen to this, its soothing af and just makes me wanna chillax. Somehow i knew a few of the songs on this record so they must be popular. Anti dance mania 4/10
Classic 80s music. Synths out the ass. Some pretty good songs on here although I though a lot of them sound very similar. I actually dont think i could tell you a song other than dont you want me and i just finished it 10 seconds ago. Shallow and pedantic 5/10
I was surprised how good this album was. This was a really fanatastic modern rock album. As you are was a great song. I would definitely like to listen to this one again 7/10
Very dark and brooding album. Somehow super relaxing too. Was not expecting a girl singer on this one. Although some of the songs are pretty long and go a little out there, I think the majority of this album is pretty damn good. 7/10
Finally, The Beatles! You can just tell this is a special album from the first song. Drive my car just had a totally different sound than anything they ever did before this. Then coming in with Norwegian wood? Jesus christ man i would have freaked out if i heard this in the 60s. Nowhere man is probably my favorite beatles song. Think for yourself is one of the most underrated beatles songs. Michelle and Girl are just all time love songs. In my life is one of lennons best written songs. If i needed someone - what a fucking song man. I truly believe every song on here could have been a single and would be a HIT. I cannot say enough good things about this record, I love every single song. And the crazy thing, it's not even their best 🤯🤯🤯10/10
We are on a good string of albums now. This was another super chill rock album. Almost sounds a little country while staying true to the rock and roll roots. American pie is a classic. I dont think there was a bad song on this record. 7/10
This might be the greatest cover I've ever seen. The music was a little groovy but dragged on and on for me. It sounds like these guys just went in the studio for 45 mins and that was the album. 2/10
This is my second listen of this album. I enjoyed it the first listen but it hit even harder this time. War pigs, paranoid, and iron man are just rock classics. Planet caravan and hand of doom banged. Ozzy sounds fantastic on this. 9/10
This record doesnt sound bad by any means. It sounds like its on the verge of a great breakthrough but it just never comes. Maybe I'll have to try a later smiths album to see if they put it all together but this just didnt sound full to me. I was just missing something. Some good songs on here though. RIP Elizabeth 4/10
Supertramp is a great band, so I was super excited for this record. I've listened to breakfast in america and really liked that album but its full of major hits, whereas this one is full of unknowns for me. Although some of these are good this sounds like a band looking for its sound. They found it later but not on this album. 3/10
Not bad album at all. Reminds me of some of the earlier jazz ones we've had. I had to listen to this on YouTube, so I got the full album experience - I had no idea when the songs changed and that was probably for the better. Jazzy but still not my thing 4/10
She has a pretty voice. That is the only positive thing I can say about this record. This album was 10 songs too long. Way too many interludes. Also it was boring as fuck and I just wanted it to end the whole time. Awful 1/10
Super chill Jamaican music. This is great background music. Dude has a cool ass voice. I didn't think this was anything special by any means though. 4/10
This is my second doors album and I know this was at the end of their career if not their last album. The other album I listened to was their first. Both great albums, but such a change in sound between the two. This was just psychedelic and groovy as hell but it was also rock and and roll and bluesy. All i know was that it sounded pretty fuckin good. 7/10
This is my second listen of this album. Other than it was a good day, I didnt like this record much last time. I had more success on this listen. Ice cubes way of rapping is actually pretty cool, theres not many dudes who do it like that. Some bangers on here, also some mid, but pretty cool album.
Some decent rock music on this record. Did not keep me interested the entire time. I noticed myself tuning out a bunch during this listen. Not that it was bad just basic rock music - nothing crazy. Also this cover is insane 4/10
Another chill ass album. Fast car is good but i dont know about 600 million streams good - there were better songs on here. Behind the wall was super cool and that got me invested in the rest of the record. The 2nd half of this album has some great songs. I'm gonna have to relisten to this one 6/10
This was an interesting psychedelic/early electric album. Really reminded me of the doors earlier this week. I really liked the first 4 or 5 songs. Section 43 was a cool ass song. They totally lost me in the 2nd half. The last two songs are BAD. Meh 3/10
I will say I was pretty disappointed to see the manic street preachers on here so soon again. But this album is not like the other we listened to. This one starts off with a bang. Actually the first 2 songs are great. This is a very consistent record with some great rock riffs. I was shocked how much better this album is than The Holy Bible. NEED TO RELISTEN. 8/10
This is my 3rd coldplay album. I listened to the new one which was garbage and a rush of blood to the head. Thankfully this album sounds more like the second one. Dont panic and shiver were great opening songs. I like the acoustic vibe they have on this album. I understand why Yellow has over a billion streams - banger. Sparks also a great song. I would have given this a 5 but I felt like it didnt end on as strong of a note as it started. 8/10 Great album!
I don't even know where to start with this album. Its just not good. How can you have this many people on an album and none of the songs are any good? Maybe im missing something here but this aint it. Also the last song is just awful. Tough listen 1/10
This was a pretty interesting listen. The first track set some good vibes going in. Cold war was a damn good song. Tightrope and mushrooms & roses were also very good. I don't think the last two songs were very good and they were wayyy too long. Interesting but not great. 5/10
Kinda hated this album after the first 5 seconds. That screaming wasnt fun to hear. Although there is some decent rocking on this album, its just not put together well enough. Things sound loose and songs dont really tie together from front to end. Sticky is an awful song to end on. BAD 1/10
I will say this is my least favorite genre of music that we consistently have on here. Every single one of these jazz albums just feels like the band goes into the studio with 0 plan and they just play for 45 minutes to an hour. This doesnt sound like it was planned out and just sounds like they are winging it. This is the best jazz album I've heard so far on here. Still not good 3/10
Super chill and laid back album. Rock vibes but on an acoustic guitar so it felt relaxing af. This is great background music. The bad part was none of these songs stood out to me except maybe the first one. This wasnt bad at all but just meh. Super short record. Cool cover doe 3/10
Some interesting songs on this album. I wouldnt say any of them stood out to me but none of them were bad or anything. This record didnt stand out to me for any reason. 4/10
Super rockin album. Reminds me of the sex pistols a bit with the guitar work although iggy sounds a million times different than Johnny rotten. Good vibes on this record. I definitely wouldn't say these songs are great but not bad at all. Decent 5/10
First of all I did not think this was going to be a chick singing here. She has a great voice. Most of these songs are really relaxing. Constant craving is great ending track! Good album 6/10
This sounded more like a movie soundtrack rather than a band's album. There were some spooky tracks on here. I was working and started getting anxious as hell with this on. Pimpf is an insane song. Pretty epic this ended with the moonlight sonata. 5/10
This album kicked some ass. It definitely reminded me of Megadeth forsure. I was surprised i actually knew some of these songs already. The number of the beast was a great song. Lowkey they did not go as crazy as I thought they were going to. Badass 7/10
Very chill album. Only acoustic guitar through the entire record is a nice change of pace from some of the other albums. Most of these songs are good but other than Fire and Rain there wasn't really any stand out songs on here. Solid and relaxing 5/10
This was an awesome album. REALLY unexpected. The 2nd song was so fucking good I was legit shocked. I was really just lost in this album and soaked it in. So hard is a fantastic song. Jealousy is a great closer to this record. This would probably get a 5 on the relisten. Awesome! 8/10
The first song was decent. Then came an insane screach and the album came crashing down. Aumgn is one of the worst songs I've ever heard. Peking O is awful terrible. It is just random noises and random keyboard shit. Makes you think who allowed this to happen. The only compliment I can give to this album is that is isn't as terrible as Throbbing Gristle's third album! I HATE YOU 0/10
This is pretty much an instrumental album. This album is solid - all the songs are fine. I dont think any of them stand out to me where I'd want to listen to them again. Fine record but nothing special 4/10
This is an interesting record. I have never listened to a Dylan album before. Kinda funny how most of these songs just dont have an end and just fade out. Also his lyricism is insane, he just says random bs but it usually works. He's got an iconic voice thats for sure. I expected more from this album because its Bob Dylan but it wasn't bad by any means. The definition of average 5/10
This is not the Beach Boys I have grown accustomed to. This was a much much sadder version. Even starting with the cover of this album, I knew this was different. By the way this might be my favorite cover of an album of every record I've reviewed on here. The songs on here are not so happy go lucky like previous albums. Some are happier like student demonstration time but the majority are chill, sad vibes. I like the switch up but the songs are meh. 4/10 respect for trying something different
This was a solid album. The girl singing really reminded me of Lana Del Ray. I thought the band reminded me of The scorpions when they play the acoustic guitars. All in all pretty solid music. I prefer it as background music though, none of these songs really stood out to me. Average 5/10
This album started off on a bang. The wall street shuffle was a great song. Honestly i got pretty lost in this album so I'm not exactly sure which songs are which. All i know is this album was pretty solid. Their name is cool and now that i know the meaning behind it, its even better. This album was short af I wish there was more. Good 6/10
I did not think this was going to be a chick singing. Oh my lover was a good starter track. Water was a good ending track. Everything else in the middle was eh. She has a nice voice though. Hard meh 4/10
This is my 2nd Nick Drake album. I liked this one a lil better than the first one. I'm shocked that this one came out before pink moon because this album sounds more complete to me. Some good tunes to vibe with on here but nothing more. Driving music 4/10
Finally Metallica, one of my favorite bands. I have listened to this album before but it has been a long time. One might be their best song, definitely top 3. Harvester of sorrow just makes me laugh because that's Paul Konerko's walk up song so it reminds me of my childhood. And justice for all and to live is to die are GREAT songs. Kick ass album 7/10
There were some decent songs on this album. Sunglasses after dark and I'm cramped were pretty good songs. Other than those I didn't really like any of the others. The singer screams and gets pretty crazy which sometimes is good, but I'm not a fan of it here. If they calmed down a bit, I think this would be better. CHILLAX 3/10
Honestly I was not looking forward to this album. I didnt like the last solo Elvis Costello album we had on here. This album was wayyyy different than the other. I'm shocked this one only came out 2 years after. Olivers army was a great song. The last song was also really good. All of these songs were solid but I really didnt know where any of them were going. Elvis has a very interesting voice. Good album 6/10
Wow, this album kicked some ass. I am truly shocked at how good this was. Halo of ashes was a good opener but the next song, all i know, blew me away. Thats one of the best songs I've heard on ANY of these albums. I was just lost in this album after that song. Great rock vibes and great guitar work. Rockin' 8/10
This was an interesting album. Electronic vibes all the way through. North american scum all time song. I probably am going to have to watch Step Brothers after this. The guys voice is kinda insane but it definitely works in some spots. Decent 4/10
I was looking forward to this one. I was very disappointed unfortunately! The only song stood out to me was the last one, waterloo sunset. There are some decent songs on here but this album just was so short I really didnt have time to take in the music. Need more 3/10
I didn't think I was going to know any of these songs. Immediately knew the first one. The cover of this album made me think we were getting glam rock or something with a big sound. This was just regular rock music. Good but a little boring 4/10
I was expecting big things on this album. I was pretty shocked how short it was. Mrs robinson is their best song. By far. At the zoo was a nice ender. I thought this album just didnt really get started until the middle and by then it was almost over. I needed some more. Solid 5/10
She has a fantastic voice. Even though all of these songs are slow, I really liked this record. Don't know why was a great song. Same with come away with me. I would like to see what she could do on a more upbeat track. This was really good though!! 7/10
Nina has a great voice. She can really belt it out but she stays pretty controlled on this record. There are times where she goes off. I didnt like some of the music on here but the singing was always on point. Either way i lose was a good ending track. Solid album 5/10
I knew exactly what this album was going to be after the first 20 seconds. The only nice thing I'll say about this record is that I love the cover. This album blows. Too much ridiculous guitar work, singing, and just general nonsense. Way too fucking long. Awful but not as bad as throbbing gristle. Booooo 0/10
Randy newman just has a special way of writing songs. Nobody else sounds like him or has songs that sound quite like this. The second track Immediately made me think of monsters inc and toy story. My criticism of this album is that most of these songs sound the same. Not an awful thing in this case. Solid 5/10
We all knew the vibes of this album before it even started. Reggae no doubt but i was interested to see if it was anything different than normal reggae. That wasnt really the case but this was a good album. Watcha gonna do was a good song. Ketchy shuby was the best song on here by far. Good ending track too. Good vibes, legalize it! 6/10
This is one of the best pop albums of all time. It reminds me of driving to high school in my friends car. Good times. This record has an obnoxious amount of hits. Blank space, style, shake it off, bad blood, and wildest dreams were all HUGE. Welcome to New York is a fantastic opener. Clean is a chill ass closing track. I know places might be my favorite song on here right now. Taylor's best 9/10
This is the first jazz album on here that I've actually enjoyed. The others seem to get too wild and get off track too much. This one doesn't get too crazy. Very chill music that is great to have in the background. I think I'm coming to the conclusion that Jazz music=background music. Chill 6/10
This album started off great. The cover reminded me of Run Dmc and I didnt like that album, but this was a pleasant surprise. The fun lovin criminal was an awesome opener. Passive/aggressive was a really good song. I cant get with that was another good song. Most of these songs are really good. Some mid ones bring it down. Good 6/10
I must admit I have listened to this album once before and I loved it then. Nothing has changed since then. Lauryn Hill is the centerpiece of this record. Wyclef and Pras also kick major ass on here. Ready or not is a great song. Fu gee la is another banger. Killing me softly is an all timer. No woman no cry is awesome. I cant believe they didnt stick together after this album. Awesome 9/10
This was an interesting album. This is truly an alt record. The chord progressions arent anything crazy but they make them fun/spooky enough to stay cool. Very sad vibes on this one. There are some good ass songs on here. I really like the instrumental tracks the most like a warm place and the downward spiral. Can't listen to Hurt without thinking of Johnny. Good album 6/10
I think this is the definition of a forgettable album. Not like it was bad or anything but there was literally nothing that stood out to me on this album. I couldnt even tell you a song and I literally just listened to it 2 minutes ago. Boringggg 3/10
This was a pretty solid album. A lot of Bruce's songs sound very similar. I dont think any of them are bad though. None of these songs stood out to me in a special way except maybe racing in the street. I still thought this was an above average album, Bruce knows how to make a good song. 6/10
This album started off pretty interesting. Its lowkey an album you would play at a club - it definitely can get you moving. Nothing can stop us was a good song and made me wanna dance. I didnt think any other songs stood out but they were all decent. Album got old after nothing can stop us. Meh 4/10
This was an interesting one. Lotta screaming and moshing. Super heavy guitar work too. I actually thought this was pretty decent for what it was. The last song on here shouldn't have been included, it was just 10+ minutes of nonsense. 3/10 actually interesting though
I must admit I already am a smashing pumpkins fan. Billy corgan has such an iconic voice its hard not to like. Cherub rock might be my favorite song of theirs. Today is a great song - I forgot about that one. Great tracks up and down this record. Only reason I didn't give a 5 is because I thought the album really slowed down at the song Silverfuck. If it ends before that its probably a 5 for me. 8/10 killer album!!
I've never heard of this band before, I thought they would have been from the 90s if I didn't know any better. They also have a song with Taylor Swift which is pretty cool. Idk why she would want to work with these guys unless she just enjoys the lead singers voice. That is the only thing that is interesting about this album. Even that gets old when he stays monotone for an entire run of songs. Boring af 3/10
This album was really good. Not like I didn't expect it, CCR is a fantastic band. Shocked how many well known songs are on here. I didnt even realize CCR was only a band for 5 years, that is insane!! Best song is who'll stop the rain. Kick ass 7/10
This was a straight congo album. Some of the tracks had some cool intros, but I got bored within 30 seconds of each track. All tracks are pretty much the same, just congos and maybe a cool beat for 20 seconds. Idk how people enjoy 40 straight minutes of this. Stale 1/10
Missy definitely has an iconic voice. Sounds a little like Lauryn Hill but grittier. I was expecting more out of this album. I feel like Missy Elliott is regarded as a pretty iconic female rapper but this music was mid as hell. Some of the features were good (Jay Z) but I just didnt vibe with the tunes. The songs just felt low quality. Not great 3/10
I must say I have a bias towards the Beatles so I'm probably going to enjoy this more than a casual listener. Imagine (the song) is an all timer. Jealous guy is fantastic- top tier lennon song. Crippled inside and gimme some truth were great tunes. The two songs I enjoyed the most were Oh My Love and Oh Yoko! Oh yoko is an AWESOME ending track. Great album RIP John 8/10
A ton of hard rock on this album. Cult of personality is one of the best songs ever. I got a lil bored in the middle of this album but the song open letter brought me back in. Memories can't wait, broken hearts, and glamour boys is a fantastic 3 song stretch. This got way better by the end 6/10
This was an interesting one. I liked the opening track, in fact i liked mostly all of these songs. But it just felt like something was off the whole time. I dont even know what it was, maybe the bass and synth in the background of every song, but it felt unsettling on most songs. It was pretty cool though I don't know many albums like this. Creative 6/10
This was a really good album, I was actually shocked. Some sweet sweet rock and roll on this one. First half of the album is very solid. Girl from mars was good. The strength of this record is the 2nd half starting with Oh yeah. What a great song. Lost in you is one of the best songs I've heard from any of these albums. Darkside lightside is a fantastic closer. Kick ass album 7/10
I will say I have listened to this album before and enjoyed it, but it definitely hit a little harder on the 2nd listen. First four songs on the record are insanely good. Californication (song) might be their best. Fantasic closing track with road trippin'. Lil peep sampled this track because i was wondering how the hell i knew the beat. Good vibes 7/10
Pretty good album! I always expect Aerosmith to be good and this was no exception. Kinda crazy this came out in 1989 it seems way older. The 4 track run from love in an elevator to the other side is awesome. Janies got a gun is one of their best. What it takes is a fantastic closer. 6/10
I usually don't love live albums but this one was pretty good. James Brown has an insane voice and has unbelievable energy. I knew none of these songs and was getting hyped and signing back to him. This is definitely worth a listen 6/10
This was awesome. The perfect amount of "weirdness" in this album. I literally cant even name a song on this record I was so lost in it. There is some kick ass rockin on this album too. I dont think there was a subpar song on here. If this was a few songs shorter it might be a 5. Great 7/10
