Unbelievably good album. Not only are the songs so great, but the recording is one of the best live albums ever made. The balance of the crowd noise and the instrumentation is masterful. No individual sound overpowers the others, and it's hard to believe this was done live there are so few mistakes.

Eh. It's okay. I can see why it's not really widely played these days unlike the albums it takes such heavy influence. It's forgettable and doesn't stand up to its contemporaries. It just feels the whole time like they wish they were lynyrd skynyrd or CCR, and that makes me wish I was listening to those artists instead.

Not only is the whole album way too long, but each song goes on way longer than they should. I mean 1999 has 2 straight minutes of the same annoying riff while people chant "party!" with no change or anything interesting happening. Some of these songs could be decent enough as tight 3min fun pop songs, but instead they're 9 fucking minutes.
